An external CD/DVD drive should solve your problem or a cheaper option would be copying whats on the CD/DVD to a flash drive and installing from there

OP you can always allow/deny access base on mac address. That has always been the best option for a SOHO.

Another option is to stop broadcasting the SSID so that only those with prior knowledge of the network can access it with the correct credential ofcourse

As aforementioned I use PuTTY, it's what I have always used. I have heard good things about TeraTerm too, but I've always use PuTTY.

Try SecureCRT & you won't go back to putty. D only draw back is that it's a paid app but it's worth every penny especially if u usually login to multiple devices simultaneously cos it arranges all your sessions in different tabs all on one window but i won't advice it if u're preparing for CCIE cos you might just get use to having everything that easy

In order to configure a Cisco Router or Switch remotely on a Windows computer, first and foremost I would avoid using Telnet at all costs. As you know everything on TCP port 23 is sent in plain text. I would use SSH or TCP port 22 because the session is encrypted. Anyone can view Telnet logs with a packet sniffer so be careful. Secondly, Command Prompt does not have Telnet natively. It does actually but its disabled by default on all OS after Windows XP for security reasons but can be enabled it if you want to. Other Terminal apps are Secure CRT (best cos of tabs), TeraTerm & Putty

Most Nigerians distrust insurance companies & sees it as a waste of money and won't bother with it either due to lack of information,misinformation, bad experience or just complete lack of confidence in Nigerian insurance companies. Road Accidents here usually involves whoever is at fault paying for the repairs of both cars and theft leaves you at the mercy of the police with no hope of getting recompense if your car is never found.

I'm really interested in getting first hand experiences from people who have successfully/unsuccessfully made claims and the insurance companies involved (3rd party & Comprehensive). How fast/easy was it?

Maybe this thread would change or reinforce people's opinions about Insurance.
