Gurus in the house, I need help please.

I was recently admitted into MS Business Analytics program of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

And so I was able to log in today to schedule a visa appointment at the Abuja Embassy and the earliest available date was in August 2023.

Meanwhile my program start date is 6th February 2023.

Now should I just go ahead and immediately apply for an Expedited Appointment or wait till "within 60 days of my program start date" as stated on their site, before I apply?

Secondly, apart from the documents such as Admission Letter, I-20, DS-160, Receipts, etc, do I need a support letter from my school to boost the application for EA?

Your opinions and practical experiences on this would be deeply appreciated, please.

Thanks.

For those who registered for NSIA and got the SMSs I have a piece of advice for you, if you don't have connection omo no waste your time... This same recruitment was done last year, I and my friend both scored 80+, none of us were called.

It is highly sought after, same thing with this NERC, if you don't have the connections don't put much hope in it. If you have the connections, worry them

Not trying to discourage anyone but telling you from past experience, I also would be writing on 31th again but my mind no too they am unless na God's will

You're right, brother.

Someone submitted my CV there in September and I got invite for a zoom interview next week with their consultant RHIZOME CONSULTING. Apt test was skipped o.
Just hoping it ends in praise.

Wondering when the whole process would be concluded sha...

Good evening, farms.

Please when and how did you guys apply for the positions that NSIA is sending out invite messages for aptitude test? I also see that this tread was created since 2018...

Are the invites from the NSIA or an HR consulting firm?

Kindly respond and wait for my reasons for raising those questions.

Thanks.

Tolvin:
Visa Alert!!!

God has said that the rest of the year is the best of the year for me! It has been a tumultuous journey but I dare say that God has been ever faithful. I bless Him for giving me the strength and the will to hold on, take crazy steps of faith, and now and I’m here. Phil. 1:6 & Eph. 3:20 & daily thanksgiving has been my routine since Oct 1st.

Submitted new POF to the University in order to meet a Visa Compliance Check condition due to the visa refusal received in Aug – Oct 27th

POF Accepted by the University – Oct 29th

CAS issued – Nov 2nd

Visa Application – Nov 5th

Biometrics – Nov 9th

NSF Mail – Nov 12th

CAS Used Update – Nov 17th

Paid Email – Nov 19th

Application moved to VAC – Nov 22nd

Collection Mail – Nov 22nd

Passport received with Vignette – Nov 23rd

I will never forget when I received the last refusal on the 10th of August. I was devastated, depressed, and pressed down. It seemed over for me at the time but God said He was just getting started with me. A number of friends I’d made during my biometrics in July at the time traveled to the UK and this made me sadder because I felt left behind. Few of them stood with me and kept monitoring my progress, just to ensure that I didn’t give up and I am glad I didn’t. I dare say that GOD CAME THROUGH FOR ME!

University of Strathclyde, Glasgow here I come in Jesus name (Amen)!!!

Could you please respond to my mail?
I really need some guidance from you.
Thanks.

Thanks for your response.
My Msc is a 12-month programme in Glasgow.
How about that?

You can check out these two:

They're more relevant, if you're looking the direction of the UK.

Good day, Great minds.

I am considering going for an MSc International Accounting and Finance in the UK.
My first degree was in Accounting (2.1) and I'm already ICAN-certified with a few years of experience.

The challenge now is that the funding isn't available (both from friends and relations) and this has left me with the only option of sourcing loan from one of the international study loan finance companies. The finance company would usually expect repayment to start 6 months after graduation. This is to give room for one to have possibly secured a job with the degree.

1. Is this venture really worthwhile?
2. How easy is it to transit from studies to job opportunities in the Scotland, UK with the current 2 years of PSW visa regime?

Please your contributions would help shape my decision and as such are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks.

The issue is the schools are running the application processes concurrently with the regular PGS calendar on the same website. For ABU, the deadline for sales of forms have elapse hence inactivating the availability of the CBN CPP courses forms too. I'm experiencing similar challenge of not being able to update my records as recommended by the SMS I received. I hope the school is aware and doing something about it. But in all honesty, thus the most unprofessional and embarrassing application processes in this modern era and for an High institution CBN collaborative program

Experiencing same thing here.
Sent them a mail the lay the complain, no response yet. The mobile lines on the site hasn't been connecting too.

It's scholarship, bro. What we don't know is the extent.
Go ahead and give it a trial as there's no harm in doing that.

I hope my money has never enter one chance. I was able to make payment yesterday. But I can't see any link to say continue your registration except the link that was sent to me about the notification of succesful deduction by CBN-CPP and that of paystack.

Anyone who experience samething?

Try the University's postgraduate site and see first. Then kindly get back to the house.

i went UI to make enquiries but the officer was silent on the school fees issue. moreso, he said the prog is fulltime and u cant work and study. and i also asked him about the disparity in the semesters for the program with normal UI msc as ui runs a 3 semester msc prog but the said prog is 4 semesters. and he said they havent resolved that too. i dont know how cbn will organize a program without adequate info and the exam will be held in less than 2 weeks. nigeria sha!!!!
Well done bro. Thank God the payment platform is opening now.

Cbncpp online support isn't responding to enquiries and questions asked as regards registration fee or sponsorship for the programme.. Any one with reliable information on sponsorship for qualified students and fee for the programme? Has anyone successfully paid the application fee too cos the site keeps taking going blank for payment ?
I went to the CBN corporate HQs here in Abuja today. But the receptionsts didn't have idea of what the CBNCPP is all about and wouldn't let me have access to those I think might have idea of the programme.
They rather referred me to the various centres at the Universities.
Those of us who have access to or have relations and friends in the various institutions can explore this avenue and see if we can find out what the issue is with the payment platform. Better still, if there's an alternative way, they should let us know.
