BIG CONGRATS to those that have just gotten their approvals!

We have a sample of 27 hopefuls! I would encourage those that have applied this year to share their timeline (with details such as; Application Route, whether you're a new or re-applicant, School Resumption Date, Application Date, Biometrics Request Date, Biometrics Done Date, Medical Request, Medicals Done, Medicals Passed, PPR or the Current Status of your application). If you don't have all this information, you can just share the ones that you have and update the rest as you receive it.

This information would help us study or attempt to establish a pattern to how CIC operates. (Please note that the calculated estimates are just averages based on the little sample we have. Your processing time may be faster or slower than the average)

For those that have already submitted their timeline, kindly share if you are a new applicant or a re-applicant. Also, please share when you are expected to resume school. This would help us understand if there is a relationship between processing time and resumption date. Finally, If there is anything you think i should add to the data or calculate from the data or if there is a better way you think I can present the data, I am always open to suggestions.

good day to you all here, please how can one apply for Canada study permit online, after being sent admission letter from preferred school of study. please I am asking in behalf of my junior brother.
He was sent an admission letter from a high school in Canada, the name of the school is lord Selkirk, he will be staying with his guardian, a family member. according to the school custodian agreement also his sponsor here in Nigeria is his uncle, we have every document ready. The only thing we are asked to do now is to proceed and apply online or at the embassy. I need assistance in the application process. Can I fill out the application for him online.

please I need answers, the school will be opening for a new session this August. thank you


To add to it, when I checked online. I read you can apply using a sign in partner or using a gckey login. U don't understand what these mean. Please I will need guidance from experts.

We have made attempts to "calculate" processing times. (Please note that this is just an average based on the little sample we have. Your processing time may be faster or slower than the average). As we get more samples, I want to believe our calculations would be more "accurate".

1. If u love ur Original Documents and still wanna have them with you, do not submit them. After submitting those documents, you wont have access to them again cos the embassy does not return documents either ur application is refused or approved, so u need to submit photocopies of ur documents. The only original documents you should submit are documents addressed to the embassy i.e SOA, Reference letter from ur Company. e.tc.

2. Use ilovepdf.com to compress ur files.. Tested and trusted. But if I may ask, while SOA of 5 banks, isn't that too much?
