Hi Nurey; I get your logic, unfortunately Jeep in their wisdom installed a closed loop system taking nitrogen from a tank installed under the rear seats
|
Good day Guys: I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has been giving air suspension issues. I have changed; 1. Air pump (new) 2. Valve (new) 3. Right hand side Air Shocks ( Tokunbo) And a bunch of other small bits and pieces. Till now the car just refuses to rise. The guys from Chanrai that I brought in to look at it using the oem scanning tool don’t also seem to know what the issue is. The current guess is that the Nitrogen in the system is depleted. Can I get a recommendation of someone who can help ?

@OP is this car still available ? |
Did anyone look at the picture ![]() That’s a New York newspaper, it’s says so right there. Look !!!!! In a manner of speaking, all comments before me are guilty of what you sought to accuse the British Media of. |
I doubt Sanusi is a saint but I hate when people distort history. Sanusi alleged 20bn Dollars was missing, After which auditors were told to come and look..........obviously NNPC guys would try to make their books clean. auditors still ended up with saying 16 Billion Dollars was missing. As of today, the money has not been found and no one has gone to jail Yet you say Sanusi lied on GEJ ![]() ? The fact is money went missing. Our problem is we stay on social media and say trash and don’t attempt to educate ourselves. That’s how Buhari was shouting nothing like subsidy....... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ he has even ruling since 2015 and we still Dey pay the subsidy. Let’s all stop baseless talk without first educating ourselves on the facts of the issue https://qz.com/africa/640886/nigerias-state-oil-company-is-missing-16-billion/ https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-35810599 |

@OP this should not be a big deal if you have a letter of administration. Brief the lawyer who helped you with the letter of Administration, i am sure he can walk you through the process. Most contributory pension monies lie with a pension provider and not the bank....the pension provider merely made monthly remittances to your father's bank account. What you need to do is speak to the pension provider, inform them via letter of your father's demise and instruct them to stop remittances to the bank while you sort your claims out with them. Preferably have the letter written by the recognized next of kin. Get a honest lawyer involved. It's not that hard |

Just incase you are wondering why i want to ditch Dana Motors ? Well below are a list of my complaints. 1. While they claim to carry out general checkup of the car, i have discovered that, they probably don't do so. Anytime i fail to complain about a certain fault, they never address it and do not inform me that they spotted such problem. For example, one of the cars has had a noise coming from the suspension for a while now. Since this noise started, the car has been in their shop for 2 scheduled maintenance checks, yet because we didnt complain, they also failed to mention it. this is despite the fact that they claim that their Quality control unit checks each car before returning to the customer. 2. They charge an average of 31,000 to 35, 000 for each routine service, yet at the last visit, i discovered when the vehicle was returned that the brake fluid in the master brake unit was empty, upon further inspection i discovered it was leaking. On that same car, i also found that no coolant was added to the radiator. So my point is, what is the meaning of general service and checkup if this things were not discovered. Am i paying 32,000 naira for just engine oil change ![]() ?The last straw that broke the camel's back was when the car was sent over with some complaints. A quote for roughly 250,000 was sent over. Upon scrutinisation i discovered that a major complaint was not made by the driver. I called and asked what had been done to the car, i was told the car had been scanned and the quote contained all spotted faults. how do you examine a car and fail to spot that the hand brake is no longer working ![]() ![]() Abeg, I am tired of these guys and their charges. Who knows a better spot to fix kia's |
I am looking for a very reliable Kia workshop. I currently use some kia cars which have always been serviced by Dana Motors but after 2 years i am fed up with the quality of service as well as their exorbitant prices. Can any one recommend a reliable auto shop in Lagos. I have tried once to fix one of the cars outside of Dana with a mechanic recommended by a friend. Long story short, the guy was supposed to repair just the engine but ended destroying the gear selector and the car had to be returned to Kia. Spent another 65k to fix all the nonsense the outside mechanic caused. |
thanks sultaan nurey lomomike and everyone else for their input. The 4runner came off as our pick especially as we had gone round and found out that dealers were asking for too much money for the pathfinder. We had started off considering the pathy cos we were told we could get it for way less money than the 4 runner. Anyways lo and behold, on thursday night, we stumble on a 4runner in the middle of the road with its right front wheels torn off. So now we are not so sure about our pick any longer. The search continues. |
We are about to purchase a reasonably priced suv and we have narrowed our search to either a 2002 Toyota 4runner or a 2004 nissan pathfinder. Mechanics have told us all sorts 1. Run from the 3.5L engine in the pathfinder, its problematic 2. 4 runner has a better suspension set than the pathfinder 3. dont buy a 4runner, it has a ball joint problem To mention a few. So can i please get informed opinions from members of the house. Which car would you pick and why ![]()

The rumors were true: Mercedes-Benz is launching a new nomenclature for almost everything beyond the core A-, B-, C-, E- and S-classes. If it sounds daunting, know that the new names basically affect only the vehicles that we currently know as the ML, the GLK, the GL, and the SLK. Under the new plan, crossovers and SUVs will start with “GL” and be followed by a letter than aligns them with the core car models—think of the A-class-based GLA. Further up in the lineup, this means the GLK will turn into the GLC-class and the M-class becomes the GLE-class. The GL-class, which is close to the S-class in terms of lineup positioning, will be called the GLS-class. When these SUVs get a ridiculous coupe-like spin-off, they will get a trailing “Coupe” designation. That means that the upcoming M-class-based SUV coupe-thing will be called the GLE Coupe. zeelo2014:What about Shina Rambo ? |
But the Story is Fiction! Summary of the eRumor: The story of a retired American businessman who bought an old farm in Portugal then discovered that a barn that had been sealed for many years had nearly 200 vintage cars stored inside. The Truth: The cars are real. The story is not. Someone fabricated the story about the retired businessman who unwittingly bought a farm with a fortune of cars stored on the property. The email then provides a link to a collection of pictures of valuable but dusty cars that have obviously been sitting in storage for a very long time. This eRumor has circulated on the Internet since January, 2007. It took the sleuthing of Tom Cotter from Sport Car Market to get the truth about the cars. He reported that the owner was a car dealer in the 1970’s and 1980’s and decided to keep some of the more interesting cars that came his way. The mans identity and the exact location of the cars are a secret but Cotter found the photographer, Manuel Menezes Morais, who was hired by the collector to document the cars in the barn. Morais said that the owner kept storing the cars in the barn until it got full then he simply soldered the doors shut and the vehicles have been sitting there collecting dust for years. There is no word on what the owner intends to do with them. http://www.sportscarmarket.com/news/news/2709-portuguese-barn-find-fact-or-fiction http://www.snopes.com/photos/automobiles/barnfind.asp http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/b/barn-of-cars.htm#.VDhpG2ddU0E http://www.ridelust.com/email-hoax-35-million-dollar-car-collection-found-in-abondoned-barn-true-or-false/ |
