God gives us boldness that we can't explain most times. I remember a car stopping close to me along a very busy road some years ago, it was in the morning, around 7:30am. Siluko road, before Bamby hospital for those familiar with Benin city. Before I knew it, a guy walked to my side and the words that came out of his mouth was "if you move".....and was about bringing out a gun he was hiding from his side. It looked like a dream when I consider it now, I still don't know how I flung my hand the same time at him and the gun flew away from his hands while bringing it out and fell about ten feet away from both of us. He kept staring at the gun , deciding whether to go and pick it up or run away immediately,I had to run
because there were others with him in the car he got out from. I don't know what finally happened to the gun. The funniest and most annoying part of it was that there were people not too far off and would have apprehended those criminals if everyone had balls. I kept shivering when I got home and kept having shocks, even during sleep which always woke me up several days after. The only loss I had was my Tshirt that the armpit got torn when it happened. I give God all the glory ooo.

This is why things are still very expensive in Nigeria, any drop in energy prices today can be overturned by sudden rise in price tomorrow which could even triple the low prices of yesterday , price just keeps changing every minute which makes long term planning very difficult. It won't surprise me if prices of petrol change by tomorrow again 😏

Nigerian security don't practise "rules of engagement", their motto is "I fire you before you fire me". Why no warning shot ? Why shoot to kill? Why shoot again the second and third time when you didn't receive any return fire after shooting the first time?

With what the Senate did by rejecting electronic transmission of result, I didn't expect the quietness all over the country, whether elections will be free, fair or not depends on that particular action. By now, I expected a full siege on that national assembly complex and all other govt institutions by political parties, civil society groups and other well meaning Nigerians, not this quietness, they will later be shouting rigged elections after failing to act when an obviously most corrupt congress in the history of this country is undermining electoral processes.
