Mr. Shaa, the first Nigerian entertainer to admit buying a sex doll has said he didn’t buy it to satisfy his sexual urge. “I did not buy the doll to satisfy my sexual urge” said the ‘I No Well’ artiste who was recently spotted taking his newly acquired five million naira sex doll on a date in Lagos. “I just wanted something that looks like a woman that I can take care of. I don’t think of sex any longer; I only think of how to make music. “My sex doll is a virgin. I named her Tontoh because she is a very beautiful woman. Now, I can have peace of mind and I can focus on my music. I have not had sex this year and I cannot remember the last time I had sex. I am not trying to paint a good picture of myself. If I want to have sex, I know where to go once I have my money.” The singer whose real name is Benjamin Ogwehi has been flaunting his doll on his Instagram page said he “got the sex doll because I became tired of women. “If I can spend N5m on a doll, I must have spent more on a lady and nothing came out of the relationship. I am not in a relationship at the moment but I was engaged last year. The outcome of the union was the major reason I invested N5m in a sex doll. I later found out that my two-year-old baby wasn’t mine. You can imagine how I felt when I got to know that I was not the biological father of the baby girl I was taking care of.” source: http://www.streetfolded.com/2018/05/i-didnt-buy-my-n5million-sex-doll-for.html?m=1

Alfred Mutua, a governor in Kenya, fell off a bridge while taking a selfie alongside Joash Maangi, his deputy. According to Capital News a Kenyan publication, both men who ended in a river were pulled out and taken to Ogembo Hospital in Kisii county. The newspaper said the incident happened a few hours after the governor was lambasted for “county-trotting while a bridge in his backyard, developed cracks”. Although STAR, another Kenyan publication, quoted reports on Mutua and his deputy bending o check the depth of the bridge when the incident took place, Capital News said one of its correspondents witnessed them taking a selfie on the bridge when they fell over. Kisii communication director Maseme Machuka was quoted as saying the bridge was weak. “The governor and DG were unhurt in the incident and they went on to address residents before going for lunch,” Machuka was quoted to have said. He added that two journalists who sustained minor injuries were taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital. An autonomous Uber car killed a woman in the street in Arizona, police said, in what appears to be the first reported fatal crash involving a self-driving vehicle and a pedestrian in the US. Tempe police said the self-driving car was in autonomous mode at the time of the crash and that the vehicle hit a woman, who was walking outside of the crosswalk and later died at a hospital. There was a vehicle operator inside the car at the time of the crash. Uber said in a statement on Twitter: “Our hearts go out to the victim’s family. We are fully cooperating with local authorities in their investigation of this incident.” A spokesman declined to comment further on the crash. The company said it was pausing its self-driving car operations in Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Toronto. Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber’s CEO tweeted, “Some incredibly sad news out of Arizona. We’re thinking of the victim’s family as we work with local law enforcement to understand what happened.” Uber has been testing its self-driving cars in numerous states and temporarily suspended its vehicles in Arizona last year after a crash involving one of its vehicles, a Volvo SUV. When the company first began testing its self-driving cars in California in 2016, the vehicles were caught running red lights, leading to a high-profile dispute between state regulators and the San Francisco-based corporation. Police identified the victim as 49-year-old Elaine Herzberg and said she was not in a crosswalk during the crash, but did not provide further details. Uber is assisting in the “active investigation” the statement added. The self-driving technology is supposed to detect pedestrians, cyclists and others and prevent crashes. John M Simpson, privacy and technology project director with Consumer Watchdog, said the collision highlighted the need for tighter regulations of the nascent technology. “The robot cars cannot accurately predict human behavior, and the real problem comes in the interaction between humans and the robot vehicles,” said Simpson, who has opposed the pilot self-driving programs in California. Simpson said he was unaware of any previous fatal crashes involving an autonomous vehicle and a pedestrian. Tesla Motors was the first to disclose a death involving a self-driving car in 2016 when the sensors of a Model S driving in autopilot mode failed to detect a large white 18-wheel truck and trailer crossing the highway. The car drove full speed under the trailer, causing the collision that killed the 40-year-old behind the wheel in the Tesla. Earlier this year, California regulators approved the testing of self-driving cars on public roads without human drivers monitoring inside. “The technology is not ready for it yet, and this just sadly proves it,” said Simpson. In one recent incident, California police officers found a Tesla that was stopped in the middle of a five-lane highway and found a driver asleep behind the wheel. The man said the vehicle was in “autopilot”, which is Tesla’s semi-autonomous driver assist system, and he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. In another recent case , a Tesla car rear-ended a fire truck on a freeway, with the driver again telling the authorities the car was in autopilot mode at the time of the collision. http://www.streetfolded.com/2018/03/uber-self-driving-car-kills-woman-in-us.html?m=1

A pastor, Adedayo Adeyemo, on Wednesday asked an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve the nine-year-old marriage between him and his wife, Kemi. The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN ) reports that the petitioner sought the dissolution on the grounds of his wife’s laziness, lack of care for the children, being adamant to correction and loss of love. Adeyemo, 38, who is the pastor of Joint Heir Assembly of God, Ado-Ekiti, told the court that the respondent does not take good care of the house and his children. He said he had performed all marriage rites including payment of dowry, adding that the marriage had produced two children aged nine and five years. “My wife is a lazy woman; she does not sweep the house, prepare food for the children or bath the children. “ I cook for the children,’’ he said. Adeyemo, therefore, prayed the court to dissolve his marriage and award the custody of the two children to him. The President of the Court, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, however, adjourned the case till Jan.18, 2018 for further hearing. http://www.streetfolded.com/2017/12/pastor-seek-for-dissolution-of-marriage.html?m=1 |
An FCT High Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of a 37-year-old man, Mathew Ankyoor, in prison for allegedly beating his eight-month pregnant wife to death. The judge, Peter Affen, adjourned the case until November 16 for the hearing of bail application filed by the defendant’s counsel, Ocheme Adama. “Motion for bail is hereby fixed for hearing on November 16. “In the interim, the defendant shall be remanded in Kuje Prison pending the hearing and determination of the motion for bail,” he said. Earlier, the prosecuting counsel, Donatus Abah, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on June 5, at Lugbe village, Abuja. Mr. Abah told the court that the defendant beat up his wife, Doosur Ankyoor, who was carrying eight months pregnancy to death. He said the defendant beat her severally leading to her death and that of the unborn child. He said the offence contravened Sections 221, 235 and 236 of the Penal Code. Section 235 deals with preventing the child from being born, and 236 causing the death of an unborn child. Mr. Ankyoor pleaded not guilty to the charge. His counsel, Mr. Adama, had prayed the court to grant bail to the defendant to enable him take care of the three children left behind by his late wife. http://www.streetfolded.com/2017/11/man-pleads-not-guilty-after-beating.html?m=1 |
The Spanish giants have had a hit-and-miss start to the season under Zinedine Zidane this time out. Real trail La Liga leaders Barcelona by eight points after just 11 games. Lionel Messi and co. are unbeaten this season, having won 10 and drawn one of their opening clashes. And according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, there are problems in the Real dressing room. They say numerous players are fed up with Ronaldo’ attitude at the Bernabeu. Isco, Marco Asensio, Dani Ceballos, Lucas Vazquez and Marcos Llorente feel the Portugal talisman is the reason behind their below-par start to the season. Diario Gol say the Real stars feel Ronaldo is untouchable under Zidane and it’s time for change. Ronaldo has struggled to find form this season, with the 32-year-old netting just one La Liga goal in seven appearances. However, the former Manchester United star has scored six times in just four Champions League games this time out. The La Liga champions travel to Atletico Madrid after the international break on November 18. A win for Real against Atletico at the Wanda Metropolitano could trim the gap to Barca to five points. http://www.streetfolded.com/2017/11/real-madrid-players-unhappy-with-ronaldo.html?m=1
