Good morning Gazzuzz. Still having the issue. Sorry for the late status update, i have been away. Any comments on the straw underneath the expansion tank? I ran a single tube from the radiator to the expansion tank and same thing happened. Can i bring it to your workshop today? Thank you.

Hi Gazzuzz. Thank you for the time you put in to answer our enquiries for free. God bless you. I have a small issue with my 2013 Kia Rio 1.4L. Coolant doesn't flow back to the radiator from the overflow tank after the vehicle cools down. After driving for a while and park i noticed the overflow tank has more coolant than when i set off and the coolant in the radiator is low. When i drain the excess from the tank and pour it back into the radiator it fills it up. I guess that means there is no leak. I read that the following could cause it; Bad radiator cap Loose hose (between radiator and overflow tank) Top gasket What i did I changed the radiotor cap with a new one and then tokunbo but that didn't work. Then i thought maybe they didnt work because it wasn't OEM. So i switched my cap with my colleague who uses the exact same model. Same issue I change the hose that connect the radiator to the tank and even added clips. There is no water in my oil and no oil in my water (I guess that might rule out the top gasket) I even took out the plugs to examine them cause they said if the top gasket was leaking it would show on the plugs (Attached pics of the plugs). I didn't put them back in though cause i ordered new ones months ago. I really don't know what else to try and i don't want to take the KIA cause that Apapa Oshodi road is hell's highway and the wait period is not convenient. And i don't trust anyone else that is why i have come to you. I read that the radiator is sucking in air from somewhere that why the coolant isn't going back in. Brother Gazzuzz i need your help Thank you.

Hi OP Kia Rio is a good car (2nd and 3rd Gen) I own a 2013 Kia Rio. Been using it for over a year now and i drive it every day (Mon - Sun) except i am out of town. Great MPG. It's not built for racing. Has a 1.4L engine but its a very practical car. Smooth acceleration Ground clearance isn't fantastic so you have to be careful with terrible roads. It has great suspensions I travelled with with it to Edo state and we were 4 in the car with a loaded boot, but i had no issues and coming back we were 5 people in the car. When i got to Ore i topped up with 1,600 on the return leg i topped up with 1,300 before leaving Edo. Stopped at Ore and topped up with 1,500. I always top up when the guage approaches half tank. Easy to maintain. I take it to Kia every 3-4 months and servicing costs an average of 15k which includes diagnostics, Engine and car wash apart from the oil and filter change. Its a lovely car. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. Cheers The car has great balance and you will love it. Very functional car. |
Can anyone help with the price of the engine? |
FestacGirl:We learn everyday. Thank you. Can anyone help with the price |
Hi Guys Thank you for the replies I am asking for the price of the Engine. I didn't know all models of this ride had a V8 engine that's why i specified that in my post. Thank you. |
Good day all Does anyone have an idea of the cost of a 2003 Infiniti FX45 V8 Engine. Thank you. |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you very much Mr. Gazzuzz. |
Hi Gazzuzz, A friend of mine based in Abuja wants to change the engine of his Infiniti FX45 2003 V8. Could you please recommend an Engineer based in Abuja who is as competent as you for the job. Thank you. |
Bought my Lenovo SL510 in 2010. Recently upgraded the HDD to a SSD and upgraded the RAM to 8gb. Boot time 23 secs. Not bad for a 5 years old laptop. Go for a Lenovo. I have replaced the battery twice though. |
