Ever since the emergence of Peter Obi, Afonja/BMC have been having sleepless night. He seem to be their biggest nightmare, despite being the VP and not the main man. Is it because they know he is the right pick to rubbish their oluwole professor of paper theory? An indication that Atiku chose the right person |
Dutchbraht:Under peter obi Anambra had and still have the best road network in Nigeria. He built the most roads then. Peter Obi built Anambra state university from the scratch Peter Obi built Anambra state teaching Hospital from the scratch Peter Obi returned the schools to the missionary hence taking Anambra state from 28th to top 3 states in Waec, Neck and Jamb under peter Obi, ever secondary school in Anambra has a bus, a mikano generation and a funding of 10million while primary was 5million Peter Obi started Innoson motor and he was the biggest customer to Both Innoson and Pan Nigeria which he was given a certificate for. Peter Obi was the only governor who met United Nations Millennium development goals (UN-MDG) and was given an award for it Peter Obi was the most believer of local content Peter Obi throughout his 8yra never borrowed any money, never owed any salary, pension, gratuity, or had any contract certificate that was pending. Rather he save for Anambra state, which is why Anambra state is the most economically stable ams viable state today Peter Obi provide the most cars and funding to security agency after Lagos, making Anambra the most secured and peaceful stated Under peter Obi, every first class graduate got 1million naira Peter Obi is the father of Modern Anambra state. Peter Obi never used Siren as a governor, was connected to the people, was humble, flew economic class and was a listening governor Also notable is that after 4yrs out of power, there isn't any corruption case hanging around him, a major reason APC, Afonja and BMC have been running helter skelter, looking for what to use to black mail him or paint him bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSrdmB7hopk&t=27s |

berrystunn:Watch it directly from YouTube. It is still playing. |
BMC should try harder or find a better strategy. They are really confused and desperate. |

Peter didn't say he does not have a property or properties outside the country. He said he doesn't have any house in Nigeria outside Onitsha. For those who don't have data to watch it, this is what he said and I quote. "Having being governor of Anambra for eight years, I cannot live outside Anambra state, never. The only place where I have a house officially built is in Onitsha. If you see any house anywhere in Lagos, Abuja belonging to peter Obi, Confiscate it" ......PETER OBI the Platform 2017 Afonja and BMC should try harder or find a better strategy. ![]() Asides he bought the house in 2001 as indicated in the document before he became the governor of Anambra state and you don't expect him to be telling the world at the platform that he owns a house in the UK. Shame on the enemies of Nigeria esp Afonjas and BMC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk4o5EdUrZ4 |
EasternActivist:Ignore the bloody afonja.. He will faded off by himself. |
Adichie honoured with thought leadership award as she becomes the first African to receive PEN Pinter prize Chimamanda Adichie, an award-winning Nigerian author, has been honoured with the Thought Leadership award by the Global Hope Coalition (GHC). Adichie was recognised during the GHC’s 2018 annual awards dinner in New York City, for the impact of her work in shaping global conversations bordering on feminism, race, and North/South relations. As a highlight of the dinner, five individuals from Tunisia, Denmark, France, Sudan, and Mali were recognized as 2018 heroes of the global campaign against extremism and intolerance. The dinner served as a special tribute to leaders and organizations that have reacted with compassion and dignity to refugee crises in different parts of the world. Special distinctions for leadership were presented to President Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger, Beji Caid Essebsi, President of Tunisia (represented by Khemaies Jhinaoui, minister of foreign affairs), Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and Alexis Tsipras, Prime Minister of Greece. The GHC, established in 2016, is a network of four not-for-profit foundations based in New York, Zurich and Hong Kong. The coalition aims to empower courageous “everyday heroes” who stand up to terror, violence, and intolerance, and to recognize those whose efforts preserve our cultural heritage and build bridges across cultures. Meanwhile, Adichie has received the 2018 PEN Pinter prize for her outstanding work of literary merit that has defined the truth in human lives and societies. She received the prize at an award ceremony in the UK on Tuesday. Adichie, the first African to win the award, said: “I admired Harold Pinter’s talent, his courage, his lucid dedication to telling his truth, and I am honoured to be given an award in his name.” https://www.thecable.ng/chimamanda-honoured-with-thought-leadership-award |
HigherEd:Technocrat without portfolio, who defend the killings in the north, what has he helped his boss to achieve along with kemi, fayemi and fashola ? The fake coward pastor who doesn't believe in restructuring. Which kind technocrat be that? If he had any sense of self worth, dignity and respect, he would have resigned from this evil government long ago. Nigeria witnessed growth when Obj and Gej surrounded themselves with Igbo technocrats, that can't be said of APC and its Yoruba oluwole technocrats |
deomelo:If the Yoruba's have as much as they claim, we won't need to google search them to know them. |
deomelo:why should I google search yoruba technocrats to know them? Did you have to google search that of igbos to know them? No, because it comes to them naturally. They are brilliant and the world know that. |
See how they will desert this thread.. They know they can't justify why PDP VP slot, should be given to the southwest despite not having any single PDP State. |
I have patiently studied the argument as to which zone should produce the Vice president and I noticed that while the igbos listed names which no one can doubt there profile and pedigree. Some name cropping out of the southeast include Ngozi Okonjo Iweala Peter Obi Osita Chidoka Prof Bart Nnaji Prof chukwuma Soludo Eyinnaya Abaribe Arunma Oteh Chike obi Chidi Odika kalu Oby Ezekwesili Dr moghalu Ike ikweremadu Etc For the south west, I only noticed the only name they could put forward was Akinwumi Adesina, which make me wonder if that is the only world class technocrat they can produce, knowing fully well how the Yoruba's brag as being educated and having quality education. I was even expecting them to list kemi adeosun, Baba tunde fashola and Osinbajo but they seem to have accepted that big grammar doesn't translate into being a well grounded technocrat or intelligence, know fully well how much of a failure they are. The Yoruba claims to be more and better educated than the igbos is a sham, big lie and an illusion. In fact, I can remember when they always tell the Igbo don't have presidential materials that can lead the country and I begin to wonder if these guys truly know the array of brains and talents the igbos possess which will be a challenge for them if they were to chose one, and it is also on record that Akinwumi Adesina got to become the president of ADB through the influence of NOI. Please respect the igbos, they aren't your mates in any field, except skull mining. |
Remove Lagos which is 30-40% Igbo, the southwest is roughy 8 million, which is same with the five states in the southeast. Abeg the south west voting strength is a myth. Jonathan lost to Buhari not because of southwest voted for APC, but for the voter apathy in the southeast. PDP must not make that mistake again. They must pick their vice president from south east and almost make effort to encourage them to vote. If igbos comeout to vote massively, they are the most influential voting block in the south because they can influence vote outside their region and they also give block vote which is very critical and absent in the south west. Igbos are wiser now, nobody should take them for a ride this time again, especially this young generation that is still angry with the Nigerian federation. If not, they will boycott the elections and PDP loses and e no go concern them. Them go face their business and huslte

jaybee3:Man wake up. Turn out 65 to 70 in which region? Yes PVC collection in the NW is 18m as stated b4. And a combined Pvc from SE, SS and MB will do the magic. The add NE which is Atiku's base and 40% of Sw. All SW sitting governors are APC but needed a battalion to rig and win election in Osun, APC:s strongest hold outside Lagos. Awka ibom, rivers and delta are pdp's strongest base. U must be dreaming.. APC will not even see 5% I trust the south east we are waiting for APC. Those who died under the watch and machination of this evil government, will not forgive us if we give them 1% |
jaybee3:The same way the NE and MB combine vote is 17M plus.. Then add SE and SS 15M plus. Then add a divided SW of just 40% which is around 6M 17 + 15 + 6 = 38M roughly Buharis only base is NW 18M and 40% SW 18 + 6 = 24M roughly The SE and SS for atiku is nothing less than 90% if PDP takes SE for VP and also are able to convince and mobilize them to Vote. MB and NE will stand for PDP 70 - 80% because of Fulani herdsmen and bokoharam. And again atiku is from the NE So tell me,what are buharis's chances? |
LekkiGists:Atiku started campaign early. He started meeting dignitaries in all the regions as soon as the present APC government was sworn in. That was why, even though was in APC, his machineries in the Senate, with saraki as the head and other PDP senator started checkmating this government. Saraki was able to get PDP senators in the Senate through Atiku's influence. So Atiku came prepared and it wasn't suprising he went back to his Base the PDP . |
PaChukwudi44:The swing vote here is the MB. Once the north east goes with Atiku, add the middle belt to it. The Buhari is a gonna. I repeat again, Buhari is a gonna |
SOUTH EAST Abia 1,481,191 Anambra 1,758,220 Enugu 1,301,185 Imo 1,611,715 Ebonyi 876,249 TOTAL 7,028,560 ---------------------------------------- SOUTH WEST Lagos 6,247,845 Ogun 1,869,326 Osun 1,293,967 Ondo 1,588,975 Ekiti 750,753 Oyo 2,577,490 TOTAL 14,298,356 SOUTHWEST minus Lagos 14,298,356 - 6,247,845 = 8,050, 511 Compared to the South east..7,028,560 The difference is 1,021,951. This tells you that the southwest voting strength is a myth. Lagos doesnt represent the southwest. In 2019, Lagos will be divided, while osun will vote Atiku because his wife is from Ilesha in osun state and then Ekiti, Ondo and Ogun will give atiku not less than 30-40%. With that Atiku is good to go from the south west. In this game the igbos as a people is much more important than the southeast as a region. The Igbos are spread all over the country especially Lagos and kano. They will be doing their magic with other nigerian groups esp SS and MB in those places by voting in block to divide Lagos and kano vote to not less than 35%. Once that is done, Buhari is a gonna. All Atiku need is to pick his VP from the SE, in a bid to encourage them to vote. If not, IPOB will exploit it to discourage people from voting. We shouldn't forget the " No Referendum, No Election" mantra is still active. If Atiku hopes to will this, his VP must come from SE, unless people will boycott the election which will be to PDP's disadvantage. Igbo people no kuku send Nigerian politics before. We are living fine without government and Nigerian politics, so we lose nothing. |
SOUTH EAST Abia 1,481,191 Anambra 1,758,220 Enugu 1,301,185 Imo 1,611,715 Ebonyi 876,249 TOTAL 7,028,560 ---------------------------------------- SOUTH WEST Lagos 6,247,845 Ogun 1,869,326 Osun 1,293,967 Ondo 1,588,975 Ekiti 750,753 Oyo 2,577,490 TOTAL 14,298,356 SOUTHWEST minus Lagos 14,298,356 - 6,247,845 = 8,050, 511 Compared to the South east..7,028,560 The difference is 1,021,951. With that Atiku is good to go from the south west. Giving the southwest the VP slot will not change this permutation because the southwest vote is always divided hence doesn't give block vote. Again, Yoruba's don't have the capacity yo influence votes outside their region unlike the igbos, because of migration. In this game, the igbos as a people is much more important than the southeast as a region. The Igbos are spread all over the country especially Lagos and kano.
