4. Ask yourself why USA has not sued and fined the US and European banks that helped Abacha and many other politicians in Nigeria launder billions of dollars from Nigeria to their country and elsewhere.

5. Ask yourself how many bank executives have been jailed for allowing their banks to be used to launder money and finance terrorism in Nigeria.

6. Crypto technology has very wide application. A very good and common example is in the area of decentralised finance. With crypto DEFI technology you can lend, borrow and carry out most transactions you would in a traditional bank without the need of a third party (bank).

7. With DEFI you can earn better rewards (interest or yields) on your money because there's no third party involved... there's no bank employing people and incurring overhead costs that they then transfer to people using their services....no bank fees, no unnecessary debit alerts.

On Wednesday being first of May 2024.

I went to a popular mall in Kubwa where they both have super market,bakery and pharmacy all inclusive.

In front of the mall are unaccountable almajiri children,some would beg u for money while some may ask that u give them from what u bought.

But this particular day was not palatable to my eyes,at the refused bin,I saw a grown up almajiri who is of my height eating from the heaped refused bin. In fact, some of the thing he scavenged from their,he package some to be taken to who knows where to eat.

The one that got me thinking is that,he kept on forcing the door to close so as to avoid people seeing him eating from that dirt behind. The more he tried to close the gate,the more it opens.

I brought this up because this is not the Nigeria anyone should be eating from a waste...are we going back or moving ahead as a people?

Their crime was operating without giving due diligence to clients. Due diligence includes KYC and AML measures. To US and other countries, it amounts to money laundering as criminals can hide their identities and use their platform. Binance agrees it has erred and wants to pay the fine. There were no charges of currency manipulations

If your man is indicting crypto as a whole, then he's more than wrong. Crypto has many use cases, from decentralized finance, business, blockchain currencies, NFTs etc. Many blue chip companies utilize crypto products from Microsoft, Coca Cola etc. Many trading platforms and payment outlets accept crypto from PayPal, Newegg, even Amazon accepts via third party called Bitpay
