Always surprising seeing some Northern states on the top list.

This testifies to the fact that they truely have the population and are embracing technology.

You made your point with the most recent data I have seen which I won't dispute, I just pray for peace all over Nigeria, people shouldn't be killed or suffer for insecurity regardless of religion or ethnicity...

Nigeria has a lot of potentials and opportunities that insecurity is affecting which is not good....

Amin.may God help us.

So 3500 is now lesser than 3000, what is wrong with you people? why do you so hate the Igbos?

The other indices there shows south west is still higher with almost twice that if south east, I can tell you for fact that there is no indices I have seen yet that shows that the south west is safer than he south east, if you have prove me wrong...

What exactly is wrong with you people?

Why do you people hate Igbos like this?
oh I understand your point now.the figure u posted showed SE as the least I didn't check it out well.but the one I posted also showed the safest place to be ekiti.then osun and Oyo also make the first 10 safest place
Also alot of even has changed the dynamic of safety in the last 10years.for exam in that report it showed NE as the most unsafe but recently because of banditry and kidnapping NW has overtaken the NE so we can hv a bias towards the old statistics

There are other indices I will show you, however if you are using population and land size as yardstick to do your calculation then China and India should be the most unsafest places on earth. But is that what is happening?

There are also investments going to the east not just the south west, even in Zamfara there are miners still going there ...

The stats for insecurity is what I'm using....

Click on the link below for more, of all the indices I have seen the south west was never below the south east.... I told you earlier on about my warning to Nairaland and how they carry bad news about the Igbos, the same thing they do on other media platforms, from TV to social media and news papers, I'm not happy with the insecurity anywhere but they should stop trying to demonize Igbos and the south east...

https://www.nairaland.com/7763002/data-showing-fatality-insecurity-each
from your screenshot we can conclude SW region is the safest

That's the problem with you guys, most bad news from the south east is blown and blown to make the south east look in a very bad light....

I have even warned them on Nairaland here, sometimes they repeat a bad news about the south east up to 3 times on front page, the very same news, I had to call Seun and all the mods I could remember, they will bring it sometimes for almost 3 days running from different sources, the same news....

The stats are there, even with the sit at home...
am not even from SW but using only kidnapping as yardstick is soooooo wrong.Even the indices you use can still be disputed scientifically.add all the numbers of kidnapping together in SE having 5 state and find average kidnapping per state .do same for SW with 6 states.come back and let's continue even from there chairman.
Statistically even adding other indices of security, SW is the safest my brother reason most businesses and even Oil firm are moving there headquarters to Lagos. Thanks for your opinion Sha, I learnt one or two things from it
.the screenshot may be helpful.3 SW are among the top 10 and no SE state is among the top 10 safest place in the country.thanks for your time

haba u are only using kidnapping index to say the SE is the safest but still within that 2022 to 2023 under consideration, the other indices shows otherwise.i remembered how every Monday in that year ,SE was a no go area especially on Mondays when businesses were under lock and key because of Unknown gunmen that ask people to stay indoors every Monday.

For something to be valuable, it should have a use. What is the use of USDT outside crypto trading. Compare it with the use of actual USD (oil, exportation, loan, medical, tourism, etc.)

I don’t have any problem with USDT but it should not be used as exchange rate for Nigeria’s economy.

USDT is printed by a random company called Tether, same way you can print meme coins in BNB chain, by imputing a bunch of values and boom. Not saying USDT is from BNB network. It’s from Tether.

But the USD is printed by the United States Department of Treasury and is backed by the US government and military.
na Nigeria leaders be donde. The free way our own people are doing it over here I feel it is strictly regulated in US.las las we go dey alright. How can a govt allow a system that harm the value of it's currency .it's just to tell you most of this our CBN guys, finance ministers are just there for the cash without adequate monitoring of all the nonsense going on in the system

Business / Re: Binance Confirms Working With Tinubu Govt To Block Dollar-naira Exchange by ozo13(m): 1:18pm On Feb 22
Faiththatworks:
I'm sure the people writing this article don't have a binance account, they just come online and report fabricated stories to scare people.
I bought usdt now on binance just to test if there's any ban on purchase and I sold some usdt on Monday without any issues.
I repeat what I wrote earlier today, binance is one of the major manipulators and speculators of our Currency, the Naira.
The rate at which they manipulate prices on that exchange is criminal, infact they are worse than the BDC.
Like someone wrote on a comment I made, yesterday it was 1700 to 1$ usdt, today it's near 1800 and I'm sure tomorrow it will be 1900.
I ask again, which economic activities are they doing that allows the exchange manipulate the Naira so blatantly,it's economic Terrorism.
Let binance show Nigerians the economic indices, the Algorithm, and the individuals in the Binance Economic Team that determine the daily value of the Naira to any crypto.
It's very very absurd for any entity to have the right to just wake up every day and assign a value to the Nigerian currency without having any methodology known to Government.
I believe that's what is called speculation.
Binance is very useful to me but I will never ever encourage the daily speculation going on in that exchange.
Binance must subject itself to some form of government regulation if it wants to continue operations In Nigeria, infact like I said earlier it must fix it's crypto value to the daily exchange rate release by the CBN,not the crazy bureau de change operators.
This is time to take patriotism over profit.
God bless my country Nigeria........
thanks for being objective in ur analysis

Exactly my question, why do we have BDC outside of bank protocol?

Like, this country is just a crazy place.

Imagine POS now being a form of business people are doing to make a living.
Banks deliberately reduce the amount of cash in ATM forcing lots of people to make use of POS.

Corruption in this country is in the fibric of our core.

The blockchain, a disruptive technology is behind the emergence of cryptocurrency. The blockchain technology offers full transparency to transactions and open to anyone or institution that needs verification. The current fiat system does not offer this. Infact, governments can deploy the blockchain to improve its processes for efficiency because of its transparent nature. The benefit to the economy cannot be over emphasised. Many Multi nationals like Amazon are deploying the blockchain technology to their operations. A food for thought, the US SEC last month approved Bitcoin ETF to legalise the trading of Bitcoin among securities. We need to be forward thinking and be among the foremost in the adoption of new technologies that creates transparent value. I am sure the government realised this hence the recent lift on the banning of cryptocurrency.
thanks for the your time sir.
Does it have anything to do with the free fall of naira because in some quarters people believe that Nigerians rushing to secure there savings in naira by converting it into crypto or dollars has further worsened the free fall and as such affected the economy.what do you honestly about this obvious disadvantage of crypto to our economy.thanks Boss

Oil has so much value and one can dispute that. One thing we should also know is that, not every developed country has oil, fold or these mineral resources.
How do u think they make their money? Serious innovations going on now would mean that in 100yrs no one would care about oil again. So what becomes of countries like Nigeria?
our country is having some challenges and the poster asked an important question.could people rushing to save there money in crypto or dollar further make the naira valueless.it isn't about oil now.its about the advantages and disadvantages of the cryptocurrency to the Nigerian economy.you guys need to convince us that aside Tinubu that made the policy to remove subsidy and also naira floating, prove to us Nigeria citizens moving there savings to crypto hurriedly are in a way no causing more problem to Nigeria economy and what should be the solution. Thanks

Lagos has done it again. When the naysayers say there's casting down just know that there's a lifting up. On same day they were spreading doom and gloom, the largest Gas plant in West Africa was opened for business in Lagos.

That's how as a nation, we will as patriotic Nigerians, work extremely hard and quietly overcome our challenges while the naysayers and unpatriotic elements will remain caught in their own negativity.

This is the best time to invest in Lagos if you love Lagos and you love the owners of the land so that the land of Lagos can bless your investment. Invest in Lagos for great the best returns on investment and investors friendly experience.

Like the white man caught doing a substandard road by minister of works earlier this month and it was made known na our people teach am the way to do am substandard so that they will all share the money.
So the Chinese are more interested in finishing the products in their own country so as to maximize job opportunities for it citizens but our own dummy political class are just after the bribe and not the interest of the country

Hey family, am glad to be here, am a 28 yrs old Nigerian lady with a great determination spirit. I couldn't attend a university to study a nursing degree which is my dream career but I attended a college of health with struggles due to financial incapability. I was raised by a mum who lost her husband at early stage. We are four am the third.

When I completed my secondary school i started working in a hospital as an hospital aid, I was able to raised some cash I proceeded to a college of health where i did a three years course and i graduated with flying colours.

I immediately moved to Lagos and start working in a hospital. I was able to raise some money that was in 2020. I did my pass port. I went online, I met some friends and i applied for a Dubai visa with the intention of getting there to do some care course, so I can work in care homes or hospital.

I got the visa. I traveled, i did the course i was able to get a caregiver job luckily for me with 2000 dhm salary. I was happy thinking my dream is gradually coming through i would able to save money, proceed with my nursing degree and take care of my mum, unfortunately for me, the issues of Nigerian cultists came up in UAE. They stopped all documentation for Nigerians, that was when the ban started. I waited a bit but nothing changed i had no choice than to come back to Nigeria in 2020. I quickly landed in Lagos and started applying to hospital all over again, i got a job again, salary was way below the offers i got in UAE, since then till now, i was able to raise 2M.

Now my people please advice me, which country can this amount take me to with flight tickets etc.

A country I can be able to work and may be further to earn a degree later.

Pls Advice me 🥺

Thank you sir /thank u ma

am impressed with your vision.May God help you and me too
