I am not surprised at this video at all. Na their way.. Na why dem they push their men to kill them especially in the USA. Sometimes, they kill their Igbo men too. Depends on who is faster among the two. If you listened to the end, you'd have heard her name being mentioned. I guess Jumoke is Igbo. |

pomide: Hi NLs, straight to point? What are the best radio shows to listen to or to look forward to in Lagos?
I've tried searching online, but the only thing I see 'top 10 radio stations'
let me try to drop a radio show I always look forward to,
1. Cool FM 96.9fm, Weekdays 3-4pm, DJ Xclusive 1 Hour mix of various genre of songs... always fun!
2. RC 102.3fm, around 12-3am or there about, I dont know it's name but people always call in with different life problems (jeez, people get problems o, especially romantic problems), anyways, the host, a deep male voice guy, tries to give best advice, sometimes he's so strict and stern on callers, I pity the callers..
anyways I'm looking forward to discovering new interesting shows airing on different stations, and it's practically impossible to listen all radio stations at once. Number 2 should be whispers of the early morning with the blunt love doctor, Daniel Akpata. He could be very stern. Sometimes I feel him, at other times I don't. |

Sanchez01: Just when I was beginning to think you truly understand football.
The Galacticos era had so much flop and one mighty one was a star studded side with individual talents. They never played as a team, save for the time they defeated an Italian team 4-1. I can't really recall the team now but that was the only match I watched in 2002 that gave me the feeling that these guys played as a team.
Perez signed Kaka but Mourinho managed him and he ended up being a flop.
The Mourinho team had fair success with goals but Ancelotti came in to win the the Champions League, with Mourinho's same team. I hope this is not too difficult to understand now? You don't get the point. This is the point: Real Madrid has always been star-studded side. So any manager coaching Madrid will coach a star-studded side. Being star-studded is not enough. As 8 coaches before Mourinho could testify. So give Mourinho some credit. Wins the league while breaking multiple records (a league that had a Barca side so good that it was constantly compared with Great Brazilian team of 1970), wins Copa del Rey(which is Real Madrid's first in 18years) and gets to semifinal 3 straight years (for a team that couldn't pass 2nd round in 5 attempts, losing to likes of Monaco and Lyon) so it's not as if he met a fantastic team on ground. You must have started watching Real Madrid's football fairly recently if u think they never played as a team. The Galacticos experiment was an initial success as the triumph in UCL 2002 indicated. OMG, the football played in 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 was sexy. I remember how we used to scream and clap in the common room back in school. Kaka and Ronaldo were bought a year before Mourinho came and it's not Mourinho fault that Kaka couldn't replicate his Milan form. His time in Madrid was blighted by injuries, most notably the knee injury that kept him out for 8 months. Furthermore, the form of Ozil meant that Kaka's playing time was limited when he returned from injury. FYI, Kaka's key stats during his Mourinho's era are actually better than his pre-Mourinho era. Remember while Ancelotti won the UCL, he failed to win the league. |

Sanchez01: Goal records, man! C'mon! If you know the philosophy of Real Madrid, then you wouldn't allow yourself to be drawn into the point and goal frenzy. WAS THERE EUROPEAN SUCCESS WITH THE OVER 500 WEEKLY GOALS? 1) No team scores this much goals playing horribly. If you need to refresh your memory, watch 2011/2012 season highlights again 2) Between 2003/04 - 2008/09, Real Madrid had 8 coaches in 6 years. Mind you these coaches coached star-studded teams with some record signings (Zidane, Ronaldo da lima, Figo, Beckham, Van Nisterooy, CR7, Kaka and Co) and could not reach the Semis since 2003. In fact they went out in the 2nd round 5 years in a row. So Real Madrid more or less was a paper tiger living on past glory. So taking them to three consecutive semis was significant progress. Even Perez admitted that Mourinho left Real Madrid much better than he met it.The coaches that came after Mourinho built on his work. It's easier make a team that's already good enough to make the semis, winners than taking one not good enough to make the quarters to the promise land |

Sanchez01: Define breathtaking? Perhaps you mean poking opponents in the eyes and grabbing them by their throat when dribbled?
Should we also talk about the many controversial attacks Pepe, Ramos Alonso and co started exhibiting under Mourinho?
I honestly don't understand how some of us interprete football. Not sure you followed them weekly. Looks like you only watched El Clasicos. 2011/2012 was one of best seasons I have seen Real Madrid play - a season in which they broke a number of records including 100 points in a single season, a record 121 goals scored and goal difference of +89, and a record 16 away wins and 32 overall wins. |

Sanchez01: I know full well but when a coach celebrate appearances rather than trophies, then you know there is a problem. True, Mourinho delivered us from the clutches of Lyon but that was just about the best he could do.
We signed him from Inter Milan to replicate their success and not have us qualify for semi-finals with a star-studded team. Should I also mention our horrible style of play under Mourinho? Horrible Style? Maybe 1st season in Barca Matches. Some Real Madrid plays were breathtaking. Mourinho did not win Champions league but he was no failure. |

A student of Gloryland International College, Surulere, Lagos, Miss. Ifunanya Ezike, has obtained the best result in the 2016 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Lagos State, by scoring eight distinctions. The proprietor of the college, Chief Sunbo Onitiri, presented her an award for excellence for making the school proud. At the award ceremony, held during the valedictory service for the 2016/17 session, the proprietress of the college, Chief (Mrs) Mobolaji Onitiri, paid glowing tributes to Ezike for being the best among equals, urging the school’s current final year students to struggle to beat her record. Chief (Mrs) Onitiri said the aspiration of the founding fathers of the school was to make the institution the centre of excellence and number one college in the country. She said the college could boast of many of its products who are now lawyers, doctors, professors, engineers, computer analysts, etcetera holding high positions in the country today. Some of the ex-students graced the occasion. Read More @ http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/08/ifunnaya-lagos-best-student-wassce-bags-award-excellence/ |

Matic may be the steal of the season. Fantastic 9/10.
Bailly - a bulldozer- clearing everything in his path. Great job 8.5/10
Pogba's final ball needs improvement but he did well today
Rashford sabi ball only say he no sabi where d goal post dey
Lukaku's goal save him from having an absolute poor game. I don't like this type of striker. Strikers that contribute nothing except goals
Martial, Oh Martial. Should he be starting? That's the question on every united fan's lips
