nwatthu: 30 years of collecting 10%, 30 years of nothing even one free maternity home for the poor, 30 years of no free community educational facilities, just like our missionaries did, 30 years of driving latxt cars and fryin hair...SMH
No wonder the church keeps appointing people from the west to head the Church in all its parish, because they don't trust brothers from the other side.
I am a member of the RCCG so I know what I'm saying.
The future is certainly bright for England as Young lions win U-17 to add to the U-20 won in June.
A Phil Foden brace in the second half helped complete a spectacular comeback as England beat Spain 5-2 in the Under-17 World Cup final at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
A first-half brace from Sergio Gomez had Spain on their way before semifinal hero Rhian Brewster pulled one back to send England to the dressing room down 2-1.
England found their equaliser in the 58th minute when Morgan Gibbs-White poked home from close range from a Steven Sessegnon assist to set up Foden's dramatic winner in the 69th minute.
And with Spain looking to level, England sealed victory at the other end with a Marc Guehi strike before Foden added his second to make it five for his team.
Rhian Brewster has just collected the Golden Boot as the leading goalscorer in this World Cup, while Phil Foden (note this name, he's a real gem. Under Pep's guidance he could blossom) has claimed the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. Let's hope they are given the opportunity to progress when they return to England.
Oluwasaeon: Yinmu With all the finals, their national team no dey pass R-16 for major tournament. Overhyped people
They've never been to finals of FIFA U-17 & U-20 in the past so I don't understand what you're saying. If they win U-17 world championship (in addition to U-20 won earlier), it would mean England have the best young teams in the world. Don't you suppose they have a bright future ahead; when you consider these players are genuinely young and not like some African countries.
You assertion is so wrong. England has gotten to R-8 on numerous occasions.
Johnflowey1738: That's where it will end they won't break into the senior team
You can't be so sure. They've never had it this good at this level. This level is usually dominated by Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Africa. There's something they are doing right and the impact will be seen in the near future.
phintohlar: oh boy indian own worst abeg, use to believe Nigeria is the most corrupt countary untill i visit indian. You won't understand
What was your experience? I have worked with Indians (I didn't have the most pleasant experience) so I understand. Yet, I have a wonderful in-law who is Indian.
Brazil U-17 1 England U17 3: Rhian Brewster hat-trick sends Three Lions to the Finals
A second international hat-trick in two games for Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster sent England Under-17s to the World Cup final as they beat Brazil 3-1 in Kolkota on Wednesday to continue an astonishing run of English success at youth level.
Steve Cooper’s side held off their talented rivals in hot, humid conditions to reach Saturday’s final, where they can emulate the achievements of the World Cup winning England Under-20s and Euro 2017 Under-19s champions by beating one of Mali or Spain.
Brewster’s goals made the difference and individuals impressed - none more so than Man City’s Phil Foden, who displayed the kind of positional awareness and technique so rarely seen by those wearing the heavy white shirt of senior level - but most of all, this was an excellent team performance.
It's the first time this age group has ever made the World Cup final. What an achievement for Steve Cooper and his team. And the strangest thing? They genuinely deserve to be there on merit. The football on display was a beauty to behold. Whatever has happened to English football at youth level, it is something very special indeed
phintohlar: I no go lie ehn, na indian worst pass for this world, even God self regret say he create them. They are wicked, heartless, worthless, lifeless, kangaru in fact just name it, and if you think i'm lieing then watch Fear files on sunday on zeeworld
Hmmm...how u take know God's mind. This kind of hasty generalization doesn't do the world any good. I believe there are just two kinds of people on earth: the good and the bad. There are good people in every race.
I don't know why people still think alcohol is a sin when it's not
Jesus turned water to wine (mind you anything called wine is by definition alcoholic)
Paul told timothy to take a little wine
and the final nail on the coffin is this statement by the master himself, "it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth..."
shaybebaby: But I would have thought that the person on ig would be a bit more concerned at being impersonated. I would.
Yeah, she should except she's doing something behind the scenes.
P.S. I'm sure it's something not new to her. Her Instagram page has this message boldly written, "I AM NOT ON FACEBOOK" and there's also a clone account "@iampcandyy" (notice the extra y) which has the same DP as Folakemigeh's nairaland account. The real account @iampcandy has 31k plus followers and is public while the clone account @iampcandyy has just 82 followers and is private.
D name never dey dictionary, we go need ask Hon Patrick Obahiagbon cos I am maniacally bewildered, overgasted and flabberwhelmed at the paraplegic crinkum crankum
Spaxon: Rooney just gets me so connected to the game. Yeah I love Atletico de Madrid.
Why u go dey support Fake Madrid, u should know there's only one Real Madrid.
Prime Rooney was a joy to watch. The same can't be said now. Nevertheless, he is and always be a Man U Great.
P.S. wetin come dey do ur Athletico sef, they no fit beat Qarabag. Arsenal should be worried cos Sevilla, Dortmund & Athletico fit join dem for Europa.
Wayne rooney. He's the best. Even if he's in everton. Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I just love his style. David De Gea. My MCM
Nice choices. I have a love for wingers maybe because I used to play on the wings. My All-time will be CR7, Beckham, Van Nisterooy, Rooney, Cantona & Giggs in that order. Little wonder, Real Madrid is my second team because they keep buying my favorite players. No one on the current team has won my heart yet. Marshall/Rashford could if they are consistently brilliant.
gbosaa: I’d love for this to happen but it seems everyone here kinda underrate the the 3 lion.
England may not have the best team in the world but I believe that they are good, they’ve just been unlucky in major events like the World Cup and European cups.
No team has managed to overwhelm them in these tournaments. In the past, they’ve held their own against teams like Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Portugal. They’ve been beaten by that cheeky, lucky goal like Ronaldinho’s, etc, lost to Portugal in penalty kicks, we’ve struggled against Argentina, they’ve beaten or held the Argentines.
It’s one match I’m looking forward to cos the experience would expose our boys or reinforce and boost their morale for the World Cup. I do hope that Gernot would use his Germany link to secure us one with the Germany team as well.
Those two alone would help us prepare against most European teams.
I do hope we play a friendly against Brazil before the England one.
Don't mind these guys that don't know anything. England has never lost to an Asian/African team not even Nigeria's great 94 team.
Granted they are not in the class of Brazil, Spain and co but they are a solid team. A team that rarely ever gets drubbed. Most times when they exit a tournament is by penalties/narrow loss against very good opposition (usually a loss to a finalist or an eventual winner)
We make noise about our players playing in Europe (and sometimes these players are fringe players) while every English player that makes the English squad plays in Europe and is usually a regular for his club. If there's an overrated team it's Nigeria. When England failed to make it past the group stage in 2014 World Cup, it was the first time that would happen in 56 years.
Fongido: I predicted the fall of Real Madrid this season and people labeled me James and Morata fanboy. what is happening now? I'm vindicated so far. Real Madrid are struggling to win a match now. they can't beat Tottenham Hotspur even with key Tot players missing. Bro Madrid is no longer the Madrid we used to know. Zidane is killing Real Madrid slowly. the successes recorded so far is via players' brilliance not his boring tactics.
talk2percy: Nigerians have a very big problem, so because this guy refused to live a fake life like the men and women of God that u guys worship more than u worship ur god, that's why u are condemning him? Did pastor Chris not divorce his wife, and didn't his wife give reasons that he had many concubines that he sleeps around with? Did that make u guys stop worshiping him? And do u care to know who he is currently fvcking? Didn't Chris Okotie divorce his wife and remarried, and what did the bible say about divorce? Didn't the bible say God hates divorce, and this pastors that did it and still live their lives like nothing happened, and don't u people still worship them, isn't it wrong? And what about pastors that are married and still sleeps with people's wives? Their churches don close? Una no d still worship them? Nigerians don't want people who will bring them out of darkness, they want and love those that keeps them in perpetual darkness
@bolded Where do you guys get your information from?
