We need to get the full gist behind this killing.
What led to this? Where they guilty of any evil? Even if why kill them in this manner? We’re they unknown gunmen terrorising ndi imo? Ebube agu should explain this killing.
This is the question ndigbo should be asking;nobody deserves to be killed like this.
Though sometimes we igbos mix everything with emotions. If the govt arrests criminals terrorising the east, we all cry and insult the govt forgetting the evil these boys commit in the community |

ChimaAdeoye: GBAM!
Actually, the Agbero Keke operators should move to Sambisa and not only Delta! Who cares where they move? We only want Anambra to be a decent and secure state!
Let them allow only law-abiding Keke operators to stay in Anambra. Soludo is totally right! He has to institute order into the system, else nothing else will work. I am glad that he isn't afraid of making tough decisions when it becomes necessary. How then will he deal with the hungry agberos? Tho I learned since his emergence as governor of the state some of the agberos have now turned to pushing wheel barrow, some body said agbero biz no dey pay again. My fear is that they should not go and start terrorising the state as unknown gun men. Soludo should recruit them into the state’s waste management to be keeping Anambra clean,he should sew uniform for those willing to take up employment in Anambra waste board as street cleaners.my worry is will they take up that job? U no say money wey person no work for dey sabi sweet, and most Anambra agberos are landlords already from transporters sweat reason y dey don’t want to leave the illegal job. |

Soludo should not allow criminal Agbero to destroy his govt. why are they pushing and edging on transporters to protest tomorrow. My friend was chatting with me and telling me how some keke riders are already moving to delta state and I laughed. I really admire Soludo and I pray he rebuilds Anambra. Anambra is the backbone of the east and shouldn’t be allowed to remain this way. Same with Aba |

globemoney01: Mad man, Anambra is still the least indebted state in Nigeria. Infact Soludo is proposing to borrow 100 billion which is almost twice the local debt Obiano left behind but you want to deceive yourselves with lies as usual.
In perspective. Obiano paid more workers salaries than Obi, paid bonues to workers which Obi never paid and hence was able to reduce poverty rate in the state from over 55% during the ill fated Obi tenure with Obaze to 14%! He was the first governor to construct community projects in all communities in Anambra state which saw Ndi Anambra richer during his tenure with recession and low oil prices than during Obi's tenure with oil boom and no recession!
Then lets not even talk about projects, after you lunatic swore he would abandon the Anambra Airport, its a pity you have no shame, you still come here to deceive illiterates with your kindergarten economics.
No amount of twisting of facts by you liars will remove the fact that Anambra was 100% better during Obiano's tenure than it is currently and during Obi's tenure. Globmoney if u say Obiano’s tenure is better than it is currently. Remember Soludo has just done three months. Does that mean that Obiano didn’t improve Anambra,he left it worse for Soludo? Stop contradicting yourself. For Soludo to be borrowing 100b means he met an empty treasury left by obiano |

Abuzz the unknown gunmen were the disengaged agberos. Pple said they were also present at the protest last week. The Agberos are the major cause of security lapses in Anambra. Soludo will deal with them and they will later tender apology letter just like the fake PTA teachers did after tarnishing the image of the commissioner of edu with propaganda. Terabyteck: In Rivers State the cost of digging borehole is very cheap, this made every household to run its own water board.
In my compound here, the security man is the water board manager. This dude on weekend will deliberately refuse to pump water knowing too well that every one is around, even as I am typing this now no water in the compound. He is waiting to pump it on Monday morning when everyone has left to work.
Some people can be fool of Sh**t hahahaha Nigerians are blindly suffering. Something as basic as water;the govt can’t fix. We truly deserve our leaders. mrvitalis: Firstly say what you know ...Enugu water board still functions , imo still functions ...but the reality is it's far more economical to dig a borehole down south ...it's cheaper 80k to 400k ..and you won't spend more than 5k per year for pumping water Enugu water board still functions where pls? And Enugu pple are always crying on the news on lack of basic need as water. Abeg this thread I opened is not for u to come and defend your region. SANCTO: The one in Bayelsa. It's the mairuwa that supply water to the water board. They rely on mairuwa for their water supplies, which water do you want them to supply to the public? Nigeria government is a fraud Na wa. Nothing wey person no go hear for our country. Mairuwa dey supply water to Bayelsa water board...an oil rich state. Just as Phcn uses generator to power. Nigeria is finished 9free: The worst is that in my village if you like dig borehole as deep as hitting the centre of the earth you will still not get water. We depend solely on rain water and huge underground reservoirs. Hope Soludo changes the narrative. Which village is that? Are you from Awkaetiti? Panda7: providing such service is merely the function of a state. but what would you say wen people form a govt in abuja and hoard ur resources with force. do you now wait for them to come provide u with basic amenities which u could easily take up as a profession?? I am very sure it’s another of my eastern bro behind this comment. Whose function is it? Buhari’s function? Ngozi Okonjo Iweala’s function? Paul Kegame’s function? Pls enlighten me Anthonyoz: This topic sounds so allian to me , all my life I don't know what is water board in reality only in news during Peter obi administration in anambra ,
We should talk of good town planning first before circulating water to home , I see my borehole as the best for me , No wonder the east don't care about the government because virtually they do most things for themselves. Comments like that of Anthonyoz makes most southeast govs misbehave and govern us anyhow...because of our i don’t care attitude. Anthonyoz, ICYMI,Water is essential and a basic amenity. Even the WHO marks ‘Water Day’. So any govt must make it as a point of duty to provide this amenity to her pple. Pls don’t come here and yarn nonsense. It’s high time we held our leaders by their balls whe pressing their necks. I am very sure you’re part of the Nigerians planning to leave the ‘shit hole’ country for a better one. The jokes on you. Odin13: Kaduna state water board stil functions .. at least 3 Times a week
Don’t think any eastern state still has water board .. talk more of water The eastern region makes governance seems very hard. I have never seen a state water running in homes. Everybody is digging boreholes for themselves. Even with the river Niger, water is still hard. Don’t really know about southwest. Lagos state water board still dey exist? |
Politics › Is Your State’s Water Board Still Functional? by Pacesetterz(op): 1:08pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
I am deeply concerned to ask this question on a forum like this to read the reactions and feelings of Nigerians concerning basic infrastructure needs like water in a state.
How many states can boast of portable water running through their houses(I’m not talking about boreholes)...I mean tap water provided by the state govt.
Growing up in the North(Kaduna state to be precise,in d 90s) I still recall how water runs through pipes and then flows to our kitchen tap. Sometimes we don’t see the water for some days and when it finally comes we all become excited for this basic amenity. This is 2022,how many states can boast of pipe borne water to her people? It’s no longer news that individuals are now providing basic amenities for themselves while those whom they voted into power no longer do their job. For goodness sake why should individuals be sinking boreholes all in the name of having water run through their homes? Where is the govt?
Is this how it is in South Africa? Is this how it is in Ghana? Is this how it is in Kenya? Is this how it is in Rwanda?
If something as simple as tap water can’t be running in homes of millions of Nigeria..can we then say governance in Nigeria is indeed a rocket science? I think the East has a billion and one sunken boreholes than any region. I maybe wrong
I want an open discussion on this thread, pls be objective as possible don’t bring tribal war here.
Is governance in Nigeria a rocket science?
