Let's call a spade a spade.
Soludo didn't come to work...he's such a lazy governor without foresight.

Recently I was in Anambra and the state has been taken six years backward. Nothing is working there...streets still look same..no changes year to year...same dusty look. Roads are still untarred. It seems if soludo manages to fix one road,he uses it for a year campaign and noise without doing anything. Civil servants in d state complaining bitterly...can't believe that almighty Anambra has not implemented the minimum wage for long😳.
Agboro everywhere on Onitsha roads...Same old, dusty and dirty looking buildings in Onitsha.

Ndị Anambra what's really happening in ur state?

There are no job opportunities in Nigeria. Most graduates are either unemployed or underemployed. How will they repay the loan and interest within the stipulated time?

Tell those u can tell not to collect any loan...the economy will not be the same like as when u where given the loan. The heavy inflation will make repaying the loan impossible

You wish you can breed division in Anambra. You people are tired of calling for more state creation that will partition Anambra, and you are applying a new tactics. You want to bring clanish mentality into Anambra state , you are not from Anambra. Why the obsession. Do you know the investment of Ndi Awka in that capital town ?

I'm of the opinion that Awka should be merged into Enugu state...nothing good comes out of that town. Only cultism. Always giving Anambra negative PR.

The NIPOWA shopping center being built at Amawbia is by far the only finest aesthetic construction in Anambra State. I doubt if the contractors are easterners...because an Igbo man will never pay attention to details when constructing...that building alone gave a breath of fresh air in that rugged axis...so beautifully constructed with greenery.

Then another building around there that also gave that Amawbia axis a sense of beauty is the new Jezco oil station. The colors look cool...the Anambra State Govt should adopt that sea blue and white as the states color...those yellow and black rugged colors carried by all Kekes etc, should be repainted to that jezcos color. Everytime I enter Anambra everywhere keep looking like a danfo region.

[s]Obi Jackson and other Anambra billionaires should be less parochial. Why not build that hotel and golf course near Awka where it would draw more visitors than okija?

In fact it could be part of a broader Anambra plan to make the Awka metro area a conferencing, hospitality and services destination.

Less prominent towns like Okija makes sense for schools, hospitals, light industry or agroprocessing[/s]
You're talking nonsensê. If e pain u tell wealthy ndị Awka to go build their own golf course. Obi Jackson will develop okija however he wants it. Awka is a town next to nothing...the hotels scattered all in Awka of what benefit has it given to Anambra? Nothing...just a breeding ground for yahoo boys...yahoo tourism..young boys from Benin,Delta, imo and Enugu all driving flashy cars and having a bad influence on Anambra youths.
Awka pple should emulate other good state capitals and welcome only good development. Cultism and yahooism is not a way of life. Awka is one town steady giving Anambra a bad PR..if it's not naked women protesting against cultism,..it will be dead bodies splattered all around d town like a Rwanda war zone.
Obi Jackson did well..everybody should put in effort in developing their towns..govt alone can't. So rest nwokem

We need world class facilities, look at what Stanley oil built in Lagos (Delborough hotel), very magnificent hotel and world class amenities , we needs such iconic structures in Anambra state especially Awka

Have Anambra state government release their prototype of the hotel yet?? We need both interior and exterior to be world standard. Agulu hotel is ok but not world class compare to that of Uyo.

We’re hosted there last Saturday and the ambience was amazing , from the road that leads to the hotel and the hotel itself is a beauty to behold

Apkabio have test, I swear. I have not driven on such road in Nigeria before, from road markings to traffic lights to walkways to trees planted on both sides of the road with the one at the middle to standard streetlights etc
Lemme also says that there’s no ugly sands at the edge of the roads🌚

Julius Berger shows superior on that road, it’s indeed a world class

In all, Uyo is fine but the masses are poor

Awka indigenes should beg their wealthy sons to also help in developing the rugged town abi is it only cultist IGR dey know how to generate for Anambra?
The other one up there is querying obi Jackson for developing his town🤣. If he doesn't develop okija..na Awka him go develope? Another problematic pple in Anambra are Awka pple..u pple font like development and u won't allow others develop their towns...other state capitals have left u pple behind. Continue in ur cultism IGR and embarrassing Anambra State all d time with naked women swearing on the streets

I dont know what is hard for Nigerians ti understand about IPOB?

Nnamdi Kanu's message is simple, "Nigeria has irredeemably failed, seek a new beginning out of Nigeria"

Can any Nigerian say that Nigeria is a success story? Nigeria is poverty capital of the world, 8th most terrorised and insecure country on earth

Yet when Nnamdi Kanu says that his people should be allowed democratic referendum for them to peacefully exit this colossal failure of a country, some people will call for his head

Why? Is 'one Nigeria' by force? If it is by force, how do you expect peace?

If is not by force, give us referendum

You cannot be in China and France at tye same time.

Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are not the problem, if Nigeria was working, they would not exist

The problem are Nigerians who can see that Nigeria is an unworkable disaster but want people like Nnamdi Kanu to shut up and accept such failure as their portion in life

Thats never going to happen, neither is 'one Nigeria by force'

Kip kwayet. Do u know that if we conduct leflendum for ndịgbo today,I am not sure pple the percentage of ibos that will want to go to Biafra will be up to 2%

Politics / Re: Why Can't Lagos State Govt Make ALLEN AVENUE Look Like This? by Pacesetterz: 6:43pm On Aug 13, 2023
Napata77:
This is Allen Avenue, Ikeja today.

This street is like the Oxford Street or Times Square of Lagos, with all kinds of fancy shops, restaurants, banks, companies, etc.

It is the sort of place that should be seeing HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of passers-by per day, including window shoppers, just like in Times Square in New York, or Oxford Street in London.

Impulse buying, whereby you just pass by and see something and buy on impulse without prior planning, accounts for a HUGE percentage of sales on those streets, leading to huge revenue for the sellers and huge tax income for the govt.

What makes all this possible in those places but not on ALLEN AVENUE?

Answer = SIDEWALKS AND COVERED DRAINS.

Once you build Allen Avenue like this above, it will attract several thousands of pedestrians per day and TRANSFORM the volume of trade on that street by a minimum 600%, bringing greater tax revenue to the state govt.

The Lagos state govt should do this.

Op welcome to Nigeria where every goddamed soul wants to erect buildings very close to d main road. If the govt does this it means so many buildings will go down and pple will wail. That A! Building has already occupied a sidewalk..the building next to it is d only one that tried sef

Yes reason why I am surprised by these complaints. My guy said his card is to expire by 2025 February so why deducting money for reissuance

Anambra are still pampering their own terrorists.

Ebonyi made the first arrest. Followed by Enugu and it seems it is well coordinated since the two states share boundary.

Anambra should keep on hoarding terrorists.
But the terrorism is spare headed by an Abakiliki dwarf in faraway Finland. The govt of Abakiliki has never called for the arrest of the Ebonyi state terrorist.
