First, I said House of Assembly members, not member. Now, how do you go about recalling all the members? Secondly, Nigeria practices democracy only on paper. What is happening in real life is highly different from democracy. Remember that it's on record that INEC and the Supreme Court said Tinubu won Rivers. I just pointed out an obvious one where everyone knows Tinubu didn't win. In our very own eyes, they rewarded the orchestrator of that insanity with a juicy position as an FCT Minister. Democracy indeed!! If (a big IF) you succeed in recalling all the house of assembly members through the so-called INEC, who is certifying the new ones as duly elected? Same INEC right? Welcome to Nigeria where a military take-over or a civilian revolution are the only two options remaining. The second option is a much better one, in my opinion. Kobojunkieee: If your assembly member does not do as you want, you can recall him! Recalls are done via INEC and not via the House of Assembly.
If at first you don't succeed, try again and again, until you get what is your right. That is how democracy works! It has never been handed to anyone on a platter of gold. |

Is it the house of assembly members he personally chose that will impeach him?: Kobojunkieee: And to date, there is no record of the people of Imo demanding his impeachment. Really sad!
It is the same in almost all 36 states of Nigeria by the way. People don't demand the impeachment of their bad leaders even when the Constitution hands them the right to do so as many times as they need to succeed(if you fail try again and again until you succeed). |

Have you not watched videos where the police are shooting at armless protesters? Richtaiwo: On the above, Atiku is absolutely right and I agree with him 100%.
However, there is a wide difference between protest and robbery. What we currently have in the name of protest is actually robbery and security agencies can't fold arms watching miscreants breaking into people's shops and carting away properties while disguising as protesters. It was reported that these so called protesters broke into a bank yesterday in kaduna. Please what has protest against govt got to do with breaking into commercial banks?

Nigerians are used to politicians that love force and dictatorship.
During the elections, some people say they are voting for Tinubu just because they feel he is strong enough to face the cabals and do the right thing. They said Obi is too soft.
Now, even to protest, Nigerians are afraid.
If you think Obi is too soft, and will behave like Jonathan when he gets there, think again. You don't know him very well.
