It seems you didn't watch the judgement. The judge stated that most of Obi's prayers were already handled in the Atiku case, so there is not need going over the same thing again. He only talked about the petition that was not in Atiku's case, which is the double nomination of Shetima. All these things are beyond who you support and who you do not support. It's not a football banter. This is our country, and everyone wants something good out of it. It is their rights to present their case the way they deem fit. They will also have a formidable role to play as opposition to the current government. LP supporters are doing much more than what PDP supporters are doing, and I like it. seunmsg: And rightly so if you ask me. For all the noise that Peter Obi and his supporters made on social media, dismissing his appeal within 120 seconds is a record that can not be ignored. We must give this decision the publicity it deserves so that others can learn from him and stop going to court with frivolous and ridiculous appeals. |

@ the bolded, did you really understand what you typed here? I didn't know that INEC has become confidence boosters abi na locozade boast? But you've unknowingly hit yourself at the back with that comment. Thanks for that. I've also highlighted other ones you have used to rope yourself. Any further conversations with be short of an intelligent discuss, and a waste of time. Enjoy the renewed shege in peace. BreconHills: Where do you get this from? The irev is there to give people confidence and self autonomy in order to increase participation and engagement. It is not part of the electoral chain. The chain is verification via bvas, voting, counting manual, transfer to collation centre, manual collation manual and announcement manual. That is the electoral chain. IRev is a side road on the process for the purposes of the election.
How can you have electronic transmission ( from irev) when the data source is a pdf image file ( from a low powered bvas device camera) that cannot be scrubbed for its underlying data? The only information collected in transmission ready format is bvas accreditation data.
The mistake was caused by an overzealous INEC which announced electronic transmission ( maybe they were trying to attract foreign grants and donations) when there was no architecture for it. The only way anyone can transfer election data is via text or comma delimited file format. You cannot use pdf and then use optical character recognition to de scramble it at the other end- you will get data loss. The announcement by INEC officials does not affect or modify the Electoral Act as held by the PEPT
This is why INEC has now come out to dial back on their over zealousness and say for the next batch of elections - it will be "manual".
People are falling in love with a word without asking if the thing is actually part of the accredit, vote, count, collate and announce process.
Emotion, emotion and emotion. "It must be therefore it is" 😂
Supposition as fact. |

At this stage, I don't think I can help you. But let me try one last time: The IREV was introduced recently in the electoral act for the purpose of stopping issues and electoral frauds in manual collation of results. Is this true or false? The IREV portal serves as check against any disputes in manual collation. The Electoral Act states that the portal should be consulted when there are disputes or discrepancies with the manual collation. Dino Malaye and other party representatives were screaming about these discrepancies and Irev's issues , but the crook Yakubu ignored and continued to reel out results from God knows where. He even promised to look at their complaints but went ahead to announce the result by 4AM. Are you saying you don't know what happened in February? In a sane country, Yakubu will be in custody explaining what happened to the portal, but this is Nigeria. Rather, the president has even gone to reward one of the electoral offenders with FCT minister. Isn't it wonderful? WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO IN THIS COUNTRY. BreconHills: Oh dear
Emotion again.
Please point out what the Electoral Act says about iRev. Please explain how manual voting, manual counting and manual recording on form EC8A become automatic transmission of results because someone takes a photo of a manual form and displays it on a website. Polling units o not LG not state.
Please explain to me why that same form is now taken to a collation centre after the photo has been taken and then manually counted and read out.
Please explain the electronic transmission and at what stage it takes place. |

Jeez!! You guys are really amazing. IREV not part of the election chain? So, you mean you don't understand the meaning of the word "chain" you just used? IREV is part of what chain if I may ask? A display platform for what? Damn, at this rate no one can put sense into you guys. It's finished. BreconHills: So you are still on this? IRev is a display platform. It has nothing to do with voting, collation and announcement of results. It is not part of the election chain. The court made that quite clear. The only way it becomes relevant is if we have an all in one voting device that sends results directly to a portal.
IRev has absolutely nothing to do with the results of the election. |

I'm not talking about the courts. What happened to the results that should be available on IREV? Do you realize Nigerian electoral act was amended because of electronic transmission? It's either you know the truth or you're just being ignorant. BreconHills: INEC does not need to prove anything. Are they the plaintiffs? LP and PDP expected INEC to prove a case that they couldn't prove.
This isn't "hit sand out of my hand and let us fight" playground thing.
If you have a case prove it yourself. |

Have you forgotten that at Chattam House last year, Tinubu personally said CSU issued him a replacement certificate? This matter is deeper than you think. Even after the supreme court affirms his presidency, which we all know they will do, he will struggle for legitimacy. He also has not helped himself by the caliber of people he has surrounded himself with. Making Wike the FCT minister is like rewarding him for the job well done in River's shambolic presidential election. The $400k drug forfeiture case has still not gone. This man has several baggages abeg. EmperorCaesar: But they also said third party vendors could issue "Replacement Certificate" and that they dont do that
They released his transcript to show he did graduated from there.
So since CSU dont re-issue replacement certificate and he lost his original one, what should he have done? |
