jeebz:human thermal comfort, comfort climates, and weather extremes (in terms of heat n cold stress). I'm actually working on that for my M.Sc although on a much smaller scale (southwest Nigeria) , am thinking of doing the same study for PhD on a wider scale, prolly west Africa or tropical Africa. 1 Like |

Joy83:If the weighted average is less than 60, one won't be able to do PhD without M.Phil. If one score less than 60 in a course and score more than 60 in others, such a person can still make PhD grade. for example, if one took 5 courses and scored 51, 54, 67, 75, 58... the weighted average is 61{(51+54+67+75+58)/5} provided the 5 courses have the same unit. But I think some school offer take 58% for PhD |
Education / Re: Thread For Masters Degree Students by padeolu: 2:10pm On Jan 31, 2015 |
Joy83:The weighted average (in percent) is your cumulative score in all subjects divided by the total numbers of subject you took. As in, if you took 6 courses and scored 72, 68, 65... its those exact score that will be multiplied by the percentage of each course. Its ur class of grade (A=5, B=4...) that will used for the calculation unlike in the percentage where ur exact score is what will be used. I guess you've started M.Sc already? |

emahnwel:That's the struggle. Considering the fact that PhD grade in most Universities is done in percentage as compared to the cgpa style. But I think there might be some schools that their PhD requirement is less than 60% (prolly with a clause). |

the crowd is quite disappointing, considering the fact that its a state controlled by the APC and as well the state of the APC national chairman. What could be the possible cause of this low turnout? |

lykeiyke:Kindly read Prof. Charles Soludo's piece titled " Buhari Vs Jonathan: Beyond The Election" www.nairaland.com/2113471/buhari-vs-jonathan-beyond-election Back in the days, when you buy a desktop computer, people come around to see how it looks and works, you carry your files about in a diskette. You know, that era has passed now. Same as the era of locomotive trains. Celebrating a locomotive train as an achievement is mediocre and as well absurd. |
Politics / Re: "If To Say" Creed For GEJ Achievements by padeolu: 11:47am On Jan 26, 2015 |

Nonsense! You mean we should celebrate locomotive as am achievement in 2015? Our young graduates should embrace agriculture while their(politicians) children are ......? we should celebrate 4000MW of electricity when 6 years ago we were generating 3,500MW? "If to say AUTOMOBILE policies was created in 1983, by now Nigeria would have been an exporter of automobiles" am sure you didnt mean this. Not when we can only generate 4000MW of power. FYI, It was during OBJ regime that fish importation was banned. ...and the rest is trash. 1 Like |

More reason why Jonathan won't have my vote. So of all the challenges we are facing in Nigeria, its indecency that is more paramount to them. Anyways, #IHAVEDECIDED SAI BUHARI 165 Likes 5 Shares |
