readin this topic reminds me of my years back in the north(kaduna). before i go on, i'll like to tell the poster that he shld listen to d adivce not a few on in here have shared.truth be told, that many 80k you say is small is relative.relative becos that is a whole lot to some other person.a whole lot can be achieved if that money is put to gud use.lik many hv suggested here, you need to team up wit your wife to succeed.while you work, why not set a percentage of that salary aside for a time and sit down with your wife and discuss wot small biz she can do?if she is the enterprising type, i bet in a few yrs time, you'll be singing a nu sonp up in here. wen i started my bizness i n the north(i wrk with a bank now) ,i started with just 2500 naira. becos my start-up capital was low, i started by taking the wares i was selling(tarlorin materials to the shop of tailors ) that way, my customer market share rose to a point where i raised many to rent a small shop.from the small shop ,in less than a yr , i got another +two sales girls and than a third shop.from the procceeds i was making i did part-time course with OAU in marketin and today that certificate is wot am using to work in a bank. the morale of my narration/story is that if you want to succeed in life, you must first be determined to succeed.stop complaining and stop procrastinating.i hope this helps in a way.my two cent. |
i agree wit the tots of many on this topic.i hv a similiar experience wit my ex.i cldnt love another for a long time.i made up my mind one day to completely forget abt her and love someone else.i did and that was hw i was able to let go of her.today am happily married to someone beautiful in form and heart.so until your boyfriend decide to completely let go of his ex, he wldnt love you completely.word. |

so now its abt the moni abi? so wot happens wen the moni is gone, something happens and the moni is no more there, you leave? talk of selfishness at its peak.i kw you dont mind this sha, i shake head. |
guys did you read the sun newspaper of 13/02/10? it says he proceeded on leave to europe. but again the paper said the reshufflement to this other ministry was an agreement reached btw jonathan and himself and that jonathan had assured him he will still be relevant to the govt based on the role he played in bringing yaradua and jonathan to power. |
do you mean like if men in nigeria sleep in the couch? i ask this becos you seem not to frame your question correctly. i mean i sleep in my couch at home wenever i want . wot wld make my yf order me to go sleep in the couch.does she pay the rent? so to your question ,yes nigerian men sleep in the couch and not neccessrily becos der yf order dem to. |
no. the bible didn't speak of stayin a virgin b4 marriage as the greatest commandment.the greatest is love. actually the bible shows that every oda sin is outside the body, but havin sex out of wedlock is sinning against one's body.god does not force anyone to remain chaste until marriage, but wen you do you make god happy and shows you truely love him(god) and take delight in doin wot he commands. |
der aint nothin rong in a lady toastin a guy, my dear.think of it this way: suppose the guy has liked you too but has bn shy to tell you so, will you let go of wot cld hv bn yours becos you are a lady? i dont think it makes any diference who do the toastin, wot shld matter is expessing how you feel abt them. most times it works wonders, b'liv me, ive seen many cases lik dat.so shoot if you hv to. |
no it's not compulsory that you hv to dance. but hey, is it not suppose to be your happiest day(that is if dat has bn wot you always wanted to do?)it is not as if anyone will force you tooooo. but i really think if you can dance and not the shy type, pls dance and mak the occassion wot its whlie.wen i wedded sometime late last year most pple took me for a shy person who will not even agree to a dance in public, but i surprised them with my steps. so if you do not want to dance, then dont. but methinks it would kinda mak pple think you regret the decion or that you are even a sadist.my 2 kobo. |
if you love just him, then let him kw that, sis.stick wit it but if he already has a gurlfriend ,i dont kw, mayb, just mayb you were not doin the rite things. kw wot i mean? on the oda hand, if you love him dat much and he is not yours to be, then i gez you just hv to let it go.free yourself b4 you find yourself by yourself.get my drift? p.s: no kill yourself sha. |
i think it wld depend on wot she already feel abt you. a girl dat does not like you wld not just start likin just becos you are calling her frequently ,bro.on the oda hand, if she really wanted to kw if you truely liked her, she cld give in base on your discussions wit her on fone. some guys sure kw how to talk to a girl they want to get down wit(albiet for the wrong reason). pls if you really dont't mean to have a serious and honourable relationship wit her, don't fool her into thinkin so wit your sweet nothin wods. |
ol boy you nid a girl for a serious relationship and you are coming to nairaland for that? get a life dude. shakes head and zooms off.hisess. |
ol boy not all girls are the same ooo. the may hv d blood of an african person but certainly not d same. ps: your english na wao. |
virgins are not respected in the world today. people who are virgins are considered fools today .but gods word the bible franks at sex b4 marriage and dat must be respected. i submit that virgins are still and shld be respected |
