1. Let's a look at the dictionary meaning of the word wage here.
Death, as defined by God, as the fixed regular payment for sins makes absolute sense with the Law of sin and death in Genesis 2 vs 15 -17, as it also does in the Old Covenant Law of Moses- Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. Here we have two different Laws and God prescribes the same, Death, as end for sinners.



2. Now, there is no "eternal" Death since Death as defined by God in Genesis 3 vs 17 -19, precludes the need for an eternal definition that which dies ceases and is removed from eternity at Death.

3. As for your assumption that Death meant something other than what God revealed in Genesis 3 vs 17-19, we should never assume we know better than God does in this and anything.

According to you, Death instead means "A DISCONNECTION FROM THE GRACE, GLORY AND RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD", but how can this be the case when God even continued a relationship with, Adam's own children, Cain and Abel?

Cain and Abel had a relationship with God, a relationship close enough that the two men made the choice to offer up to God a sacrifice of the fruits of their labor. Had there been a disconnect of the kind you claim , what transpired after Adam left Eden, in Genesis 4 vs 1 - 16 should never have been possible..

4. As we learn again from Cain, sin is nothing but a choice made in direct disobedience of God's Will. Man always has a choice to surrender His will to God in every instance..that choice was available to Adam in the garden, was to Cain before he chose to kill Abel , and still available to all even today.

Jesus Christ did not come to remove the responsibility of overcoming sin from us. That responsibility lies squarely to this day on each man, Just as it did with Adam in the garden of Eden. Only this time, rather than Death, the punishment for sin is eternal damnation.

P.S. Adam did die that day . See psalm 90 vs 4 & 2 Peter 3 vs 8.

1. Here's the major problem....we are not saved from sin, instead we are saved from Death,the punishment doled out by God for sin of unbelief beginning with Adam in Generis 2 vs 15 - 17 & Genesis 3 vs 17- 19, from what Paul referred to as the Law of Sin and Death.

Death is also referred to as "condemnation of sin"or "wages of sin".

Malice, Jealousy, idle words are sins. They will hinder us from Heaven.

Cultism, idol worship, murder, abortion, lgbt are sins. They will hinder us.

Every form of Unrighteousness is Sin. They will hinder us.

What will give us access to Heaven is Confessing our sins to GOD, Repenting from dem, Surrender and Believe in JESUS Christ.

Even after Salvation, we need to repent from every sin we fall into and ask GOD for mercy.

These are the Last days! Be careful of what and who you listen to. Heaven and Hell are Real. Eternity is a Personal race.
