Sir, you had better get your facts. It used to be 25th during Jonathan regime. It changed to the first week of the following month at the inception of this present regime. Though, Buhari has ordered the finance Minister to pay federal workers by the 25th of every month irrespective of whether FAAC meeting holds or not but for the last 2 months after the directive, workers get their salaries by 28th or 29th.

The correspondent of the Vanguard newspaper in Ondo state, Dayo Johnson, is a staunch supporter of Mimiko. He worked in OSRC where he cast the sport segment of the daily 8pm news. He has been using his position in vanguard newspaper to sow seeds of discord among the APC leaders in Ondo state.

In 2012 ACN gubernatorial primary election in Ondo state, many aspirants had to defect to other parties on the ground that there was a grand plan to impose akeredolu.
No primary election was done then because the accusations made by the aggrieved defected members came to pass. If his selection then were to be based on concensus agreement as akeredolu is now claiming , no aspirant would have defected. Then, to akeredolu, Bola Tinubu was a respected leader and someone who kept his words.
Once a level playing field is ensured and every aspirant is allowed to test his or her popularity, the candidate that is eventually emerged must be acceptable to everybody in the forthcoming APC primaries election.
As a matter of fact, the emergence of Chief Akeredolu as 2012 ACN gubernatorial candidate was a good example of imposition.

If the date of the primary is Postponed hundred times and the primary election itself is repeated a thousand times, it will not change the candidate that will emerge.

Mimiko has to go for a candidate with huge financial muscle that can match the APC money for money, despite the fact that his anointed candidate is a weakling politically. Ondo state.

The primary election is meant to pick one of these twenty aspirants. It now depends on their ability to canvass support from the delegates and the political structures they have on ground.
To be honest, the aspirant with huge financial wherewithal may carry the day in a free and fair election as far as primary election is concerned in Nigeria.
I vehemently believe whoever has the support of Bola Tinubu will win the forthcoming APC primary election in Ondo state, come what may.

I don't see Borofice picking ticket for governorship candidate under APC in Ondo state. Chief Rotimi Akeredolu has a better chance of picking the ticket.
Mimiko has openly endorsed Eyitayomi Jegede as his favored candidate for PDP.
Mimiko may have shot himself in the legs by his support for a candidate from the central senatorial district where he comes from by trying to rely on akure agenda as his winning joker.
Akure as a state capital is hugely populated by non indigenes of the town and the fact that Mimiko has become extremely unpopular in the state is a minus for PDP as a party.
Whoever APC eventually pick as her candidate, i see APC winning the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo state based on political feelings in the state.
