MayorOfEdmonton: NO.... All three pages should be scanned and uploaded pls. someone on a group i'm in fortunately got ADR for a missing PCC page...a strict VO may have addressed it differently
Interesting. So, now that some people are doing the PCC by proxy, whose finger prints will be on the document? I never knew that the PCC requires finger prints.
Yellowmellow: Hello everyone. Please I'm trying to call q-life to book an appointment for medicals but the prompt just keeps mentioning the things we are required to bring over and over again. I haven't been able to speak to anyone, is there an alternative option??
meelola007: Pls I have a question about Proof of Funds. I intend to use my salary account in my former place of work because my sister In law intends to give me the money but she wants it to be in an account in her bank. The plan is for her to send it to her brother, and for him to send it to my account as a gift deed. Will it be enough if he provides a document showing his monthly earnings to proof that the money is his? Also, my brother has agreed to give me the balance proof of fund as a gift deed? How do I go about this? I also intend to transfer some money from my current salary account to this one. Pls let me know if there's a better way I can achieve this plan.
Hi there,
In my opinion, it is ALWAYS better to make sure that things are less complicated. The less complicated it is, the easier it is to explain. If I were in your shoes, I'll ask her to transfer it to my brother. My brother will in turn, transfer the total sum to the account in my sister inlaw's bank. N/B: THE GIVER DOES NOT NEED TO PROOF THE SOURCE OF THE MONEY, OR HAS THE REQUIREMENTS CHANGED?
I will then transfer the balance from my current salary account to that account. That way, I will obtain a gift deed from my brother only, get the transfer slip from him and add an LOE to explain the balance which I transferred from my current salary account.

[quote author=GeologistMajor post=96192476]I think a reference letter for a lecturer in a university can either come from the HOD or Registrar. why HOD? because the HOD is an immediate Supervisor. Check the link and highlighted words below.]
Yeah, I saw this. Just wanted to find out if someone did something different. My registrar isn't easily accessible, so I'll go to my HOD or Dean. Thank you very much
NneAku344: No it must come from the registrar. No he didn't attach payslip, but the amount he is paid per month and annually were stated on the reference letter he got from the registrar
Yes my husband is a lecturer.. He's the principal applicant in our application.
You can go ahead with ask your questions
Great! Thank you very much for your kind response. I want to find out if my HOD can issue a reference letter or if the letter MUST come from the Registrar? Also, did he need to attach payslips?
Hope you are all doing great. Please, is there any lecturer on this journey? I'll be diving into the pool next month, so I'd love to ask a few questions. Wishing everyone success in this journey.
Kampack: Hello house, I have a transcript issued some years ago. I wanted to use it for my postgrad admission but requested for 2 copies because I was applying to two different institutions that didn't mind me sending it to them. I eventually used only one. However, I kept the other copy safe and secure, believing that it might, one day, be useful. It's still very neat and in a securely stamped evelope from my university. Can I send this to WES just to speed up the process? Would it be honored? I just fear the waiting times and excuses from our universities that I have read on this thread
Firstly, transcripts usually have the officer's stamp, signature and date. Won't the date be too far backwards? Secondly, many universities usually prepare a covering letter addressed to the transcript recipient. If that letter is inside the envelope probably addressed elsewhere, what will be your fate when it arrives WES? Thirdly, I don't think there are routine flights in operation to courier your parcel. Lastly, WES had sent an update that documents received after 10th of March may not be processed or will be processed slowly until things normalise.
I suggest you wait and do the proper thing to prevent the delays you are trying to avoid now. This is because if WES senses any fowl play, they may request for verification more than once, which will cost you more and take a lot of time.
Annog: Pls are you aware if diamond(access) bank visa card works? because I 've bn trying to pay but no success.
All the banks have reviewed the international monthly spending limit on card transactions to $500. This probably explains why you are having difficulties. You can go to your bank for further assistance with alternative measures.

British council's office is closed until after the lockdown period. Try reaching them via email (exams.nigeria@ng.britishcouncil.org). They should respond within 24hrs.

All banks have reviewed their international spending limit to $500 per month that's why the payments are not going through.
Go to your bank branch and discuss further with them on how they can be of help.
