Please I have an issue, my WES looks like it has hanged since the coronavirus saga started. I have sent my school verification via courier since abt 2 weeks ago now but my profile has not been updated. How do I know what's going on.

1. When you sent the parcel, did you use your details as the sender or you asked your institution about sender's details? If your name was used as the sender, it will be rejected.
2. Track the parcel online to see if it's been delivered. If yes, check the date it got delivered. If it was delivered less than 5 working days ago, don't disturb yourself. Your account will be updated. Forget that 24-48hrs WES wrote on their website. All the documents I sent to WES were updated in my profile after at least 5 working days.
3. Lastly, check your tracking number in your profile. If you see "... We have received your document, allow 24-48hr for your document to be linked to your profile...", then, don't disturb yourself, in a few more days, it'll be updated.

Are you going to use your name or the institutions name as the sender

There's no need for sender's name. Just put the certificate in its separate envelop, seal it and write your WES reference number and WES address on it. That's all. Take all the envelops to the courier service, they'll put them all into one water proof bag and seal. That's it!

The sender of the sealed waterproof bag will be your institution!

My HND transcript was given to me to personally send to WES via DHL, which I did some weeks ago and WES acknowledge the receipt.My profile was later updated to HND Transcript Accepted, and I was sent a Message with caption "We are waiting for three(3) of your document I.e 1. ND transcript, 2. HND Result 3. ND result. NOW my ND transcript is ready and I will be sending it myself like I did for my HND transcript.

MY QUESTION:
Can I send photocopies of my HND result and ND result along side with the ND transcript when sending it to WES tomorrow? Bearing in my that this will not have School Seal and Stamp LiKE transcript and other document originating from the School. Your urgent answer is appreciated please.

Yes, you should use a separate envelop for those. Remember to write your WES reference number on the additional envelop.
DO NOT TEMPER WITH THE TRANSCRIPT ENVELOP. ANY SIGN OF OPENING ATTRACTS AUTOMATIC REJECTION BY WES!

As far as you received that email from Hellofax, it's been delivered. Just allow upto Wednesday next week and see what happens. Mine took around 9-12 days or so.

When you sent the fax,
1. Did the first page of your fax carry your WES reference number?
2. Did you receive an email notification informing you that the fax was delivered?
If the answers to the questions above are "yes", you do not need to worry!
Your WES status should read "we are processing a new document..."

You can ofcourse have access to your money. Accessing your money is a matter of a call/mail to your account officer. By the way, who will want to do that? You can liquidate once you obtain your PPR so you can assess funds for your flight, accommodation arrangements, etc.

This is what you do
1. Get money in your account
2. Get deed of gift, doesn't hv to be from the giver, just ensure giver signs it. I prepared my deed myself nd gave my mum and the other parties i used as witness to sign nd i notarised it. (I'm a lawyer)
3. My mom gave me her transfer slip of the money from her account to mine
4. My bank statement
5. Bank ref letter, this is required by cic for pof
Thats all, you can decide to attach other things
If you want, i did an affidavit which i got my mum to sign (not necessary) just anything to prove funds without being to extra. Don't be too extra!

Your number 3 serves the same purpose as my number 5. Your method is also great.
People have used various methods, including the method I recommended. I have got 3 friends with PPR. This was what they did. It doesn't mean you are wrong!

Hmmmmm fix ke. You pple should not complicate things for yourself na. I got ppr, didn't fix anything, don't even know what fix is. Just tell whoever family member to send you the money in your account, do your deed of gift, and submit your application with your relevant docs. At least thats what i did. You pple don't do adequate research thats the cause of all these.

No. You get the certificate immediately. Fixing for 6 months just shows that you have control over the money. You can fix tomorrow, get your certificate immediately and submit your PR application nextweek�

Are you sure? Has there been any PPR holder that used only his bank statement (less than 6 months) and gift deed.

When using a gift deed, the only reason why you may need to submit your bank statement (the applicant, not the giver) is because you want to show the VO when the money dropped in your account. Secondly, you want to show that the person who transferred the money to you as displayed in your bank statement, is the same person writing the gift deed. However, the gift deed letter and your fixed deposit certificate showing that you fixed the gifted sum, are enough! The gift deed and fixed deposit certificate together eliminates the idea of having the money in your account for 6months minimum.
The key is: try to avoid complications, keep yor application simple and straight to the point. They are attending to thousands of files, so, complicating issues will delay the progress of your PR application.

No!
He/she will give you a letter stating that the money is a gift and that you are not required to pay back. You need to go to a Notary public to get this done and endorsed.

Hello, this is a good question. DHL or FedEx will be fine.
The MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD YOU USE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER AS THE SENDER, OTHERWISE, WES WILL REJECT IT!
Ask your school what name they use as sender so that when you use it, there is consistency with the name they've used to send transcrips in the past. Better still, you can write the following in the sender's column:
"University of......
Address....."

If your complete documents [transcript(s) and certificate(s)] have reached them, don't worry, it will be updated in another few days if not today.

Just be patient with them.

Good morning house. I mistakenly requested for delivery from WES and this catapulted my fees to 305CAD instead of the normal 220CAD. I’ve mailed WES to remove the delivery and they said it’s part of the package and can’t be removed. Since I’ve not started any process at all, can I create another WES Account using a different email address for myself and hubby (cos it also affected him)?

Yes, had copy delivery of your ECA to you is part of the package. Please note that there are two modes of delivery; (1) courier delivery with tracking capabilities (eg DHL) at CAD 85, and (2) regular delivery with no tracking capabilities at CAD 10.
So, write to them to change the delivery type to the CAD 10 delivery. That will bring your bill to CAD 230.

Sorry, I thought someone had responded. You'll need to liquidate it and show evidence that you have the money in your account (bank statement).

You can liquidate your investment prior to submitting your application post ITA and use the statement of account, or submit the treasury bill certificate. However, there are several instances where IRCC will raise flags about the certificate during processing of your application. At that point, you'll be required to liquidate and send them your bank statement.
Concerning the time, the longer the treasury bill stays, the better!!! If the treasury bill had been in your name and over 6months old, no issues at all. Just liquidate and submit your statement showing the balance. You don't need to wait another 6 months.

Please, when filling the express entry form to enter the pool;
1. do we need to fill secondary applicant's NOC and detailed experience like the primary applicant?
2. does the secondary applicant (eg spouse) need a reference letter from previous employer?
3. If the secondary applicant have no experience besides NYSC (Secondary school teaching) 8 years ago, can that be used as experience?
