Politics / Re: PDP Against Igbo Presidency – APC Group by palibc: 11:25am On Apr 21, 2016
Igbos are the ones selling themselves short. their greed will not let them unite.

hear the unreasonable group talking about marginalization when in the election of 2015 total vote from the south east was not up to the votes from Kadunna and Kano put together.

PDP is scientific enough not to zone their presidency to the south east come 2019 because that would have spelt doom for them. The statistics are there, the Igbos should first of all rally their people and let's see their strength them they do not need to lobby they would just be picked.

I am from Delta state, very disappointed in Igbo brothers. they don't know that politics is a game of numbers and influence.

Did I hear PDP is giving them vice president, that is very magnanimous of them because only two States in the north can cover the entire votes from the east........abeg

BreketeMind:

It seems to me that the supply is higher than the demand in that sector. Just visit any food stall on any street and you'd see an array of those seasoning agents. I think it will take time and lots of marketing budgets to pull through.

But if you insist, here's my advise: (1.) Have a unique packaging style: Since many of the existing brands are powdered and in sachets, you can try liquid in bottle. 2. If you are using sachet, think of a color combination that is attractive and different from the rest (I suggest a purple/yellow theme). 3. Use Facebook to presell to Nigerian mothers (You can also do this with TV, though it would be costly). All you need is to devise ways to target Nigerian mothers on Facebook. I can help you very well with Facebook marketing in case you need my services. Preselling means even far before the product comes into the market, you should get it endeared to thousands of mothers who would join the product's page. This will build expectation in them concerning the product. So, as soon as it enters the market, you inform them by a post. Then, they'd be the one to take up your message. You can call me in case you need more clarification on this because I don't often come here (Nairaland): 09054539246

thank you sir, I will contact you.

Good coach, God will reward you for what you are doing for us...

please, I am a speaker and I am working on a book version of a topic I have developed which has to do with business / entrepreneurship. at a point, I also thought of recording it as mp3 because that is cheap. but my fear is, can someone really make money with books/mp3 sales in Nigeria as it is done in other big nation?
please your candid advise is needed because it is the only venture I am looking at this year and you will be helping a brother to get out of confusion.
Business / Re: Innoson Motors Chairman Drives Foreign SUVs But Want Us To Buy His Cars?(pics) by palibc: 9:28am On Jan 24, 2016
l beg to differ in shooting down the critic. It was a good observation. You don't give what you don't have... In nation like Nigeria where we are still trying to sell our brands I think the best way to market a product is to demonstrate your confidence in the product...that is by USING it yourself. please make us believe in those cars by using them...I rest my case

9. Nothing is worth the stress. If you die from stressing yourself while trying to get something, you still won't get it. So why the stress? Everything has got its own time & season, what is yours will surely come to you at the right time without too much stress. I later got to find out (from interaction) that being a single mum at 27+ was what was eating my sister up and also joblessness/idleness (she was idle for a year after youth service). Whereas, I have seen women who are single at 40 and are still happy and hopeful.

Nothing is really worth the stress. worrying over anything will not change it. we should just be focused on seeking solution and I believe we will find it in the strangest place......

Politics / Re: Can Somebody Please Enlighten Me On What I Stand To Gain From FG Subsidy Removal by palibc: 7:46pm On Jan 03, 2016
TonyeBarcanista:

The price would have been lower if our refineries were efficient enough to meet local need. Perhaps, it may sell at N40-N43 per litre. Considering that we import the refined product, worse is the fact that the naira-dollar exchange is high, the landing cost is relatively high. When you add custom duty, transportation and other charges plus the fact that most of these marketers secure loans to buy the product and they must factor personnel expenditure and profit, the price at N90 isn't so high.

refineries or no refineries, it is unjustified for Nigerians to be buying fuel at the price we are....they should stop giving import licence to their political allies. Some of the people agitating for subsidy removal are those who have been whipped sore by the dwindling crude oil prince.
Who is buying our crude? So it does not make any economic sense any more for them(agitators) to continue with racketeering.

Tonyebarcanista, if the federal government gives me import licence today, I can get you fuel at most 20 naira per litre. Even, the touted subsidy removal is not removal but review to reflect the present reality. subsidy is still there and Nigerians are still misinformed about the whole thing...

Business / Growing Business In Kwara State by palibc: 1:25pm On Dec 18, 2015
One of the strategies of growing business that I see that most business people in Kwara state are not using despite its potency, is BUSINESS NETWORKING.
BUSINESS don't grow by what you know or are capable of doing but who you know and most importantly who knows you. companies don't make decisions people do.
"your network determines your net worth".

Business success principles are universal in application. They don't respect locations or persons. There are not discriminatory, what ever has worked for one will surely work for another. The best way to learn a thing is to understudy someone who has done it before. The secret of men are in their stories. You can learn in one day, what it would have taken a successful person to learn in years.
Learn from the motivations, visions and ideas of successful entrepreneurs and business owners as we will be featuring them at our strategic business forum- PALI BUSINESS CONNECT here in Ilorin, to share their success stories,
