SoNature: Fashola is right. Once in a while, the government will intervene in the market and stabilise things. If not, things will go wrong.
The speech I consider most interesting was that of Oluseun Onigbide, I just came across the name today. He encouraged everyone to show interest and get involved in governance.
Prof Soludo did well, but I don't think being in government and not borrowing to invest in ventures that will yield more money for the state is something to celebrate.
Fashola and co should at least start an open market and stop being socialists.
They keep practicing open protectionist ideas and you are hailing them. Sometimes we deserve the leaders we have
Houseontherock1: Guy was killed in a place dominated by Yoruba people, how will other regions dominate the list? Just stop If they killed him in your region, 25 of the 25 people will be from your region!
May the guy RIP and may his killers get the judgement they deserve. BTW, I'm guessing Oladoye Femi Ola (34) and Kehinde Olasusuyi Martins (32) are staff
Can't you people say something reasonable without the Yoruba input?? What's wrong with you?? Grow above bigotry chap
ChristCee: Country is finished. If this can happen to a federal senator just imagine what would happen to the innocent masses. All these unnecessary show of force and flexing of power is fruitless. Let's be honest. Nigeria can't afford to fight two wars on different fronts. These boys should be in the north securing the country, every single political and terror problems in the south is something dialogue and slight change of policies can handle.
Nigeria Army love flexing muscles over the civilians. If they are really this proactive, banditry and kidnapping would have been a thing of the past
If you doubt me ask Yaradu'a how he solved militancy problems.
RepoMan007: One day you will celebrate the longest dump taking record also. How is delaying of simple moves and achievement? This a mental case that should end with counselling.
He went in with intention of the longest game time in chess and so delayed simple moves.
Delayed moves?? You obviously did not see him. There are timers there bro...
flokii: I know there are Oil deposits in many parts of South West, just that our people are docile and never eager to push for anything, just to be blowing big big grammar up and down and be doing oversabi, whereas we are really losing out from the allocations that other regions are getting.
Some of the resources mining in the northern states belong to the States but the oil being mined in the south belong to the federal government. Una never wise.
What is stopping the States from handling their resources giving a portion to the federal??
Lol, resistant indeed.. If that's the case , the Israeli attack should be seen as a form of resistance from the cockroaches who wanted them annihilated.
Justiceganduje: Has this man commissioned any project since he became the governor?
Good you asked before condemning the governor. He is loved by many and has commissioned projects and many still ongoing. You hardly see people speaking against him except for political trolls.
Obviously he is not only a dancer. He generally loves music
Freshtruth: There is no difference between Chelsea owners and Nigerians politicians now that the players are beginning to understand the manger formation and system boo he was sac
Mikel Arteta ist season even rst pass so still arsenal kept faith If that's your claim , then you are not bright. Chelsea have got many trophies and successes to show for the changes in manager while the Nigeria politicians are never gonna change.
otipoju: O.A.U the school that formed us. It will be fixed in no time.
" Amphi- "a venue loaded with history of various kinds
This was where D-Banj performed his first major Nigerian show in 2005.
Na here we pursue Bukina that year too as a fallout of that Dean of Student Affairs man wey dey like play students against each other in divide and conquer format

Will never forget Iya Israel one of the elderly women who used to do laundry. " You wash ? " was all the English the could most of them solicit customers with.
Greatest of the greatest Ife. The is the handwriting of Honorable Senator... A very close friend of Prof Jembe , the dark , short comrade. May the spirit keeping forming us for the good of humanity.... Aluta continua , Victoria ascerta.
God1000: What a demented human being, they don't even hide their feelings and hatred anymore, they are so wicked and heartless
Such outrageous utterances is the reason you can't blame countries like north Korea and Iran for their nuclear ambitions.
Should Russia nuke Ukraine too Mr senator?
People like are the reason the war will continue. Every state irrespective of when the start to exist have the right to survive and live. Right to protect her sovereignty. People like you are too emotional to reason clearly. Unfortunately, I am appalled by the killings going on and I will never support it in any form whether in Ukraine or Russia, Palestine or Israel.... But have you asked yourself that what does the Palestinians really want
Yes Israel is over doing it and I even felt they allowed the the Palestinian attack simply because of their own agenda because an attack of that magnitude cannot easily go unnoticed by the mossad.
I hope they find a peaceful common ground bitbut calling someone demented because he is loudly calling for a nation to defend herself is unwanted.
anonymous1759: Final brutality to speculators, I feel for those genuine ones , but majority of Nigerians ain’t loyal . They sabotage the country and come online to bash the government when their heinous act destroys the economy . EffC should also go after schools receiving $ for fees .
Tinubu rat.... What do you know about crypto and manipulation? You talked as if you are paid internet rat or just a daft person. There are manipulators but who empowered them?? Who created them? The so called BDCs being supplied weekly dollars are majorly manipulators. Governors, Reps etc are manipulators.
That energy should be focused on creating more avenues to earn more dollars . Encourage people in diaspora to send more dollars here etc....
emkz: Rufai claims there were 57 active businesses that were impacted. Since he is now the mouthpiece of those businesses, can he list them?
As far as September 2023, talks began with HiTech on the project, where was Rufai Oseni? Why didn't he raise the alarm then, WHY NOW?
While raising the question about Landmark properties and alignment, Rufai Oseni refused to admit whether Landmark violated the right of way. He also did not state whether Landmark illegally utilized the asset in question. He also did not address the fact that only a marginal portion of Landmark was affected.
When the initial propaganda failed, they shifted to EIA and EISA. The Ministry of Environment already said they issued a waiver. But Rufai Oseni, who requested access to the audited books of someone's private enterprise, is not satisfied.
He also claims the owner of HiTech is Tinubu's personal friend. Does he want us to discuss his boss' personal friends and associates? Did they not give media protection to Emefiele, Okowa, PDP and Atiku? If they didn't, why were they hell bent on humiliating Tinubu with their boss even writing to accuse Tinubu of Noriega moment. If there was no personal or business interest for them, why did they take it so personal?
Then they accused the minister of staying in Eko Hotel and Suites; what has that got to do with anything?
On the surface, Rufai Oseni and Arise News have serious questions; but the questions are not balanced, because they have not asked Landmark questions. They have clearly taken a side and they are fighting for either personal or business interests. Yesterday, it became clear when they interviewed a former Commissioner of Police. The conversation was accusatory and not intermediatory. Answers provided by the government are never acceptable to them, but they believe everything the Landmark CEO says.
Rufai Oseni, you claim to fact check everything. Please fact-check whether Landmark rightfully owned that land and whether he was cleared to build there.
One more point to make: you claim there was no stakeholder engagement before demolition. David Umahi sat down in your studio to say that he met with the CEO of Landmark and that they adjusted their plans to spare his properties. You also asked why properties not previously marked for demolition and outside the right of way were demolished. As a journalist, you ought to be aware that notices of demolition were sent to all affected parties and they complied.
How come only Landmark is complaining?
What is Arise News/Rufai Oseni's personal/business interest here?
PS: When a former editor and a firmer executive director of PUNCH newspapers had a fight over one of them allegedly collecting millions of naira from corrupt politicians and businessmen to give them positive press coverage and kill negative stories, both of them were forced out of the media house. It became clear that some journalists used the media to promote personal and business interests. So if you see any media house seemingly pursuing or protecting someone's business interest, even at the expense of the public good, money is involved.
How come Channels TV, NTA, TVC or AIT are not fighting or protecting any interests? Why certain journalists from certain media houses?
Rufai Oseni asked to see the acvohnt statements of someone's private business. Can Rufai Oseni publish his own accpunt statements so we are convinced he did not receive a PR contract to use his platform to demarket the coastal road project
If you don't like the messenger, but the message is clear.... Let's be objective
Gistmedia10: A young Nigerian boy has amazed observers with his remarkable mathematical abilities. In a viral video, the unidentified boy was approached by a bystander who presented him with challenging math problems.
The bystander used his phone calculator to solve some complex equations. After revealing the result, he turned to the boy and asked for his answer, anticipating hesitation or a different outcome.
To the astonishment of those present, the boy confidently provided the exact same answer as displayed on the digital calculator, without any hesitation. His precise and swift response left everyone speechless, as they struggled to comprehend his advanced mathematical skills at such a young age.

RainMoreDFARMS: Would I be doing too much if I ask for the picture of the house

successmatters: This list is prepared to keep some states out, let them publish the complete list to combine the whole governors, Lagos will have trillions in debt owed by the stooge at alausa who is working for his salave master in the villa.
Where is Osun State here?? The man left over 100 billion debt
Why would you say that?? Simply because you have failed severally doesn't mean your mindset should be this shallow. You obviously want him to without uttering a simple word of encouragement.
Bad soul , bad energy , bad people ... I wonder the kind of people you have around you.
Don't hide the division... Shia is a muslim , Sunni is a Muslim ... Because you are Sunni, you are playing down Shia abi.... Go and preach your nonsense in the street of Tehran if your head will follow you home
Just swear to whatever not to see the progress of your own country, lobatan.
How can some people do just because their principal loss in a contested election, the person wey come third oo and ever since they never wish the best for the country.
It's time for FG to consider banning any association with the name of Obidients.
We can't continue to be shying away about their bitterness, hatred and their evil wishes towards the progress and development of Nigeria
But you know that the NAIRA gain is unsustainable. Let's Lee deceiving ourselves.
Chukwuka319: I will unapologetically state this. Many Muslims are more Christ like than most so called Christians. As a Christian and Igbo corper of 2022/23 servin g then in Niger state,I experienced the benevolence of Muslims towards me and other non Muslims living in the Agaie LGA of Niger state including non Corpers of other ethnicities.
You don't know what you are doing bro.... Many times I have stood by the road waiting for transport and have been generously offered a lift by Muslim men in cars or bikes. But here in the South, it's extremely difficult to see a Christian man give a lift to another Christian man , and even if he does,it is often for a woman. Muslims would go any length to make sure you are comfortable and it is very high if you are a Non Muslim not of their ethnicity living among them. I experienced this so well among Niger state Muslims and if NYSC is to be done twice,I will choose the Muslim North anytime anywhere anyday.
