If we talk about the player with the best performance for club and country with sincerity it is Messi the only problem is that he couldn’t win the Copa for Argentina despite having a good tournament.
As for Ronaldo he won the Champions League and Euros this gives him an edge over Messi albeit a slim one, his hat-trick in the club world cup moves him outright clear. Too bad for Messi knowing the way things go, if he had won Copa America he might have had a chance.

Spot on. If one Looks at those goals you would see Moses rushing back trying to clear the lines, the second goal was even funny he was so desperate he crashed into azpi. first one maybe second one no way. Cahill just shifted back and allowed him to cross,the wing back supposed to track back came late. I would rewatch the goals tho.
But anyway we could have won the match if Hazard and Costa had converted, first half we were sitting back to counter them problem was that two-fold, our central midfield couldn’t mark out spurs and even when we managed to win back the ball our foward passes to the forward were poor. We can still win the league but next season if we dont want to crash out of Europe early we have to re-enforce to remove those weakness.

Dembele is a very disciplined midfielder, he is not moving past the circle on the pitch, even when Spurs have possession. Both teams would have to rely heavily on set pieces or passes from deep to open up this game.

As in. How i wish Fabregas had more pace and his defensive side was better, we need someone to dictate play and move the ball forward quickly and accurately. All this long balls and backpasses wont help us.
