Tough match this one. As long as we can choke their mildfield and deny them from long shots and supply to Kane we would be just fine. I predict a slim win sha 2-1.I wont be surprised at a draw sha. |

Chelsea fans found guilty over racist violence on Paris Metro
Four Chelsea fans accused of singing racist chants have been convicted of racist violence and given suspended one-year sentences by a French court.
Video emerged of the group singing racist songs and preventing a black man from boarding the Metro in Paris, while chanting: "We're racist and that's the way we like it."
The video sparked widespread disapproval and Chelsea football club condemned the fans' behaviour.

raumdeuter: Show us what Lampard achieved without Romans billions. Ballack made a CL final with Leverkusen. Lampard cant even make it beyond Viking and Hapoel Tel aviv. Thats how useles he was for clubside
For NT he couldnt make a 22 man England squad to the world cup thats how useless he was suddenly he saw awoof Roman money we begin hear Lampard this Lampard that first paragraph bull shit - I already wrote what he achieved with West Ham. At club level useless is a word that can never go along with lampard no matter what you would have me believe. As for the national team at euro 2000 and WC 2002 i believe(i stand to be corrected) the formation the English team used was 4-4-2 flat meaning central midfielders were more likely to be needed than attacking midfielder and at that time there were quite a No of established ones- the likes of Scholes, Hagreaves, butt etc. You mean you expect a coach to leave the above at home for lampard at that time. You dey do Aro egbon dayo |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pamcode(m): 11:25am On Dec 30, 2016 |
Even at West Ham lampard was already showing the propect of being one of the great midfielders in his era. His last two seasons with them he was the third highest goal scorer with double digits. His goals helped them win the UEFA intertoto cup and qualify for uefa cup. Even if Chelsea didn't come another big club would have. So to hell with the notion of lamps would have been nothing without Abramovich's millions. |

NickleTheory: I am not an Iniesta fan or Barca fan but one must be incredibly dense if you think they would win all those finals without Iniesta. And the up barka yapping fans would also be infinitely dense for saying lampard would have been nothing without Abramovich's millions. Till today he was an integral part of the West Ham team that finished fifth(highest position in EPL ever till today). Even leo Messi himself might have been nothing without Barca intervention in fact he could have been worse than nothing - he could have been dead. |

That is why you have been showing symptoms of senselessness. Only tools like you celebrate dribble, sensible people celebrate trophy
Okocha dribbled Oliver Kahn yet in no footballing circle will they be mentioned in the same manner. Adama traore has been dribbling lots of better defenders this season what does that mean?
This is Lucas Moura dribbling Vidic does that make Lucas Moura anything than average player?
Below is Delvecchio dribbling Nesta Really any player can dribble a defender, you know this and yet you keep boring us with gifs of the shabani dribbling Terry and using that as a yardstick to call him useless and passenger. |

Batshuayi can never give you that. well I didn't watch the match, I believed Batshuayi if not for anything his price tag is enough I don't why I seem to have a soft spot for the guy I just don't know why. By the way who played as false nine. |

timbros: A question for you guys.
Who is youverall best Chelsea player (past or present) and why? I'm curious to know If I didn't mention you, sorry it's an oversight. Just comment all the same.
For me, it's Didier Drogba all the way! I can't count how many trophies he has won for us. He is always there in the big games, scoring important goals for us on a steady basis. He is a legend. For me it Petr Cech. Why? maybe because I was a goalie myself in secondary school, even at that level with nothing at stake but your parole it involved so much pressure and the shame that comes with conceding is enough to wreck anyone confidence. To do that on the professional stage and the big stage kudos to him without him there would have been no Celebration that night in allianz arena. |

diggz: Oga be not be deceived pls.....Performance is not a one time thing and is usually sampled over a particular period of time. Unless dayo who started the useless performing in big stages comesback here to take back his words, we will have to right off players like messi, giggs ,scholes, vidic ,ballack, nedved, etc .
I refuse to except dayos bossing/beasting of finals as a yardstick to judge players.
I will never except a situation whereby I am told, I could pass 500level only, fail from 100 to 400 level and still graduate with a first class from uni.
Bruv, you want to compare lampards vs iniesta performance, yeah? Do it holistically...... Thank you. I agree with you but if you look at Iniesta case you would see that 'one time thing' cannot be used in regards to Iniesta at all. |

A40: Bros you just dey yarn opaks. Which one player can drag a team to anything? Cool down Captain Obvious. The Klose you are talking about vanished after the first round. Germany didn't get to the Final because of Klose so kill that noise will ya?
Ramelow also played at the World Cup so stop correcting megedefegede. I have been following the German national team over 2 decades no be today.
Nobody said Ballack did it all by himself so I don't know why simple English is making you nauseous. What I said is Ballack did it with a lot less resources. For club and country I respect your experience bro but i found fault in your post that was why I quote you because by using the word dragged you are implying that other team mates were just passengers doing nothing or next to nothing in those tournament i proved that wasn't so. Team efforts win trophies bro in the group stages Klose was the stand out, in the knockout Ballack was the stand out, throughout the tournament Kahn was superb. That team on it own were decent enough to win IMO they were just unlucky to meet the superior. In 2006 world cup that germany lost at semis weren't there talent in that team? Or was it another bunch of useless players. For leverkusen the team was decent enough to win just unlucky to meet a superior - madrid. The only players in this world that can claim that without them their team wouldn't have reached the level of success it achieve would be Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and even that can still be argued. Being the best performer in the team doesn't equal to 'dragging' a team to success, get that fact right bro. |

A40: Lampard was a great player no doubt (Bayern were shyte that year btw) but when someone comes to tell us he was an elite AM in 2002 and even 2003 when Chelsea were still getting sonned by Viking of Norway then kasala go burst. As bad as he was he still did next to nothing at country level. High premium should also be placed on International footie. Life does not begin and end in the EPL The bolded above sums up everything about the comparing Ballack to his Master lampard- shyte. Right from the horses mouth. |

diggz: How is iniesta lampards master in terms of performance? Ha Bros i no fit lie bro Iniesta is Lamps master o. UCL Finals against Man utd it was him and Xavi that did the midfield magic, Euro 2008,2012 it was Iniesta and Xavi, WC final in south Africa it was him and Xavi. Bro the control he and Xavi had over the world for both country and club cannot be over rated or over-emphasied and not even lamps could match it. Let us give honour to whom honour is due i remembered at that time if you wanted to troll Messi suporters in arguments you would say without Iniesta and Xavi Messi is nothing. I say again Iniesta is lampard lord and personal Saviour as far football is concerned. |

Ibime: Ballack was a great player but he musta been cursed from his village.
So you mean he is the reason Leverkusens name was changed to Neverkusen? I dey tell you na him Raumdeuter suppose give the title walking badluck. He was the one that made leverkusen lose the league title they could have won, in UCL and WC he met his masters that sent denied him of his glory. In Chelsea the season Manchester United defeated us in russia all the Finals(euro 2008,Ucl 2008, League Cup 2008) he played with us and Germany and in that year we(and he) lost, the only one he didn't play i.e fa cup final( in which lamps provided the assist to the goal that Drogba scored) we won that. I dey suspect say na him koba Terry sef cos till today i still don't understand the way Terry slipped on the floor it wasnt ordinary my brother. |
