Eboofa: Enugu does not do 200 billion in IGR....it proposes to do so, it is achievable of course! Mbah seems to have an ambition matched by his experience in the private sector! So far I am impressed by his audacity........something that most of our local champion politicians in the southeast lack! The man has guts! Go and read the budget again and slowly this time. Mbah stated that the 2024 IGR for Enugu as at September 2024 was 144.9b naira and on the balance of probabilities, he projected that Enugu could take it 200b naira by 31st December, 2024 |

Cc Ebubu Please let us tone down the jab, @Ebubu6 is surely not from Ebonyi. There is Igbo nationalism ongoing now and our governors and frontier contiguous Kith & kins have caught the message. Igboland will rise again. Enugu will do an IGR of above 200b naira this year, we need responses from Abia, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi. It is who we are, we compete positively! We rise by lifting others! |

If you give Yahaya Bello scorecard he will score himself high.
Just like me as a Managing Director says my business is bad market. Will I try it? No
Who will de-market himself or herself even if it has to be the truth.? Even Nigeria tells creditors they can pay whereas they're plagued with debts.
It would have been more reasonable if neutral national aviation agency declares it. I doubt you are from Ebonyi as claimed, the way you attack anything Anambra is nauseating. Nobody can Manipulate flight data anywhere in the world as they are public records |

Bestmanfornow: The Chinua Achebe International Airport, Umueri in Anambra, says it has recorded 400,000 passengers in 7,000 flights since it began commercial flight operations in December 2021. Martins Nwafor, the airport managing director, said this on Tuesday while playing host to information commissioner Law Mefor. Mr Nwafor, while taking the commissioner and his team on a tour of the facility, said only two commercial airlines were using the airport at present, but talks were ongoing to bring more airlines on board. According to him, operations are largely during the daytime, but airfield lighting systems are being installed to make night flight operations at the airport possible. He said the airport had the best runway in Nigeria with a total distance of 3.7km, the second longest in Nigeria with 45 metres width, which is the capacity for Boeing 748-800 series airbus. Mr Nwafor said the Chinua Achebe Airport was planning an Airport Trade Fair, which would start on December 1 and end on December 7, the third anniversary of commercial operations at the airport. He said the fair would be an opportunity for flight operators, passengers and the general public to showcase their products and interact for economic and social benefits. He said the anniversary would mark the unveiling of the airport name which came into existence on October 1, 2023, and the erection of a statue of Chinua Achebe, the world-renowned literary icon. In his response, Mefor said the airport was a priority project to Governor Charles Soludo as it was pivotal to his agenda of industrialisation and tourism development of Anambra. He said Mr Soludo had approved the construction of a VIP Lounge within the airport and that he had already awarded the contract for the airfield lighting system. He said the Anambra Mixed Use industrial City was all about the economic and industrial unraveling of the state and the airport was crucial to the actualisation of government objectives. https://gazettengr.com/anambra-achebe-airport-records-400000-passengers-7000-flights/#:~:text=The%20Chinua%20Achebe%20International%20Airport,to%20information%20commissioner%20Law%20Mefor. Nlfpmod At an average of 150k passengers per annum for a 3-year old airport, it's quite encouraging, considering how bad the national economy is ATM! |

Omooba77: Nigeria’s Vivid Debt History The Pre-independence Debts
Nigeria’s public debt dates back to its colonial rule. The first recorded public borrowing was in 1923-24 when a loan of £5.7 million was taken by the Nigerian Protectorate at an annual interest rate of 2.5 percent and with a structured repayment time of 20 years. In 1927, another £1 million loan was taken from the Bank of England to finance the construction of the Lago-Port Harcourt Railway. This loan was guaranteed by the British Government and was repaid in 1938. In 1936, the Nigerian Protectorate took another loan of £4.89 million. From 1946 to 1948, it took additional loan of £5.74 million. In 1958, the Nigerian Protectorate took a loan of £28 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, IBRD, which is also known as the World Bank to finance the expansion of the Kainji Dam and the Ugheli Power Station. This was repaid in 1978.
By the end of the Colonial rule, Nigeria had a national debt of $31 million at an interest rate of 3.5 percent per annum and a repayment period spanning two decades.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/10/nigerias-n121-67-trillion-debt-worrisome/ I am still looking for the route of the aforementioned Lagos-Port harcourt Railway Line. The SCAM did not start today! |

How many people are sitting for WAEC in other zones that you are wanking ? what is 89% of just 1000 students compare to 62% of 5000 students ?
South West have the highest numbers of students that sat for WAEC and passed WAEC every year. Keeping believing nonsense. I will explain the statistics to you in a simpler terms Simply put, 9 out of every 10 students that sat for WAEC in SE had at least 5 Credits; whereas, In SW, 6 out of every 10 students had at least 5 credits. This is proportional representation! The above statistics explain why the economy of the Nation grew before 2015 when SS/SE was in the presidency. Officially, there are no tribes in Rwanda as we speak, but Rwandans FYI, post-war Rwanda made Paul Kagame, a Tutsi ( the massacred tribe) the president of their country soon after the Genocide to reconcile the Nation, but post-war Nigeria sidelined Igbos and you expect the country to work Available statistics have shown that Igbos are currently leading the rest of the Nation in Education, and ideally should form the bulk of the leadership of the nation to move the country forward, but Nigeria chose the worst of us in everything to lead us to this cul-de-sac situation. |
