@op
Why are you guys such an hipocrite?
The other day FFK wrote an article berating some northerners about their born to rule mentality.
All the Igbos on this forum were praising and agreeing with him, now the sniper scope is on their back, they are whining like a biiatch grin

Kudos to FFK, for another wonderful article that is presently hooking the throats of some people. grin

Politics › Re: Maiduguri Attacks: Military Suspects Insider Collaboration by Pangea:
wirinet: Please quit that old worn out propaganda of "the northerners are using boko haram to fight an ijaw/igbo president". I know that is your campaign strategy for 2015, but if you are old enough, you will know that all previous governments from Martala till now have had to deal with insurgents one way or the other. While the military governments were able to deal decisively with them, successive civilian governments failed until it became an uncontrollable monster.

Wars are won not necessarily based only on superior fire power but also based on superior intelligence. What this article is implying is that the Boko guys have superior intelligence. Then what is the function of directorate of military intelligence? They should be very active along Nigeria borders, especially the north gathering information to prevent these kinds of attacks. What about the surveillance capability of our airforce? a functional airforce should run surveillance sorties along the borders at least twice a day.

We pride ourselves in being a military force in Africa and a rag tag militia is giving our whole military nightmares, in an open dessert for that matter. Shame
No be small something o!
Nothing looses a war faster than incompetence.
Unfortunately, incompetence is the story of this present government.
Any time this issue is raised, the idiots hides under the banner that the present rot was not created by the present government, they inherited it. Obama inherited a government plagued and weigh down by worldwide recession, he had excuses to put the blame of the financial woes on bush but he never did.
Presently through his effort and that of his team, US is in a better financial state now.

Rare Iceland armed police operation leaves man dead

https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/71488000/jpg/_71488877_020199207.jpg

Icelandic police have shot dead a man who was firing a shotgun in his apartment in the early hours of Monday.

It is the first time someone has been killed in an armed police operation in Iceland, officials say.

Tear gas canisters were fired through the windows in an attempt to subdue the 59-year-old, who lived in the east of the capital, Reykjavik.

When this failed he was shot after firing at police entering the building. Between 15 and 20 officers took part.

Back-up was provided by special forces.

The tear gas was used when the man, who has not been named, failed to respond to police attempts to contact him and continued shooting.

When they entered the apartment, two members of the special forces were injured by shotgun fire - one in the face, the other in the hand.
Investigation

The man, who died soon after arriving in hospital, was thought to be alone, police say, and the motive for his action remains unclear.

"Police regret this incident and would like to extend their condolences to the family of the man," Icelandic police chief Haraldur Johannessen told reporters.

The incident was "without precedent" in Iceland, he said.

The apartment block was evacuated as neighbours were considered to be in danger.

Iceland, with a population of 322,000, has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and shooting incidents are unusual.

Counselling is being provided to the special forces team. shocked

An investigation is being carried out into the conduct of the police and to try to find out why the man began firing.

Billyonaire: I am a Niger Delta Biafran first before being Nigerian. And no one has monopoly over violence and bloodshed.

These Boko Haramists should understand that they can throw bombs and Nigeria still moves forward, but in the event that Niger Delta Biafrans decide to throw bombs, all the Oil Fields will be vacated and without Oil Money, the 36 States plus Abuja will cease to receive one Naira allocation, and in the event that there is no money given to any State Governments, there will be total anarchy.

There is only one Region in this country that can throw bombs and Nigeria ceases to exist.

We are Niger Delta Biafrans
You forgot, Lagos did without your oyel money during the time of the cold war between Obasanjo and Tinubu!
So let no one threaten the west with blowing up oil pipeline.
If Lagos can do it, believe me, others too can.
Ok?

We need a scape goat..

The top and first class thieves, thugs and barbarians think they can insult the office of the president and get away with it..

I ask, where were these genetic goats during the time of President Obasanjo?
Who among these goats is bold enough to criticize insult him back then?

GEJ is such an humble man with a commendable tolerance.
You guys are really pathetic!
Your clannish outlook is really mindboggling!
How many times did your people call OBj an ape and other unprintable names.
Even to the extent that comedians make jokes about him publicly?
Did he send his dogs loose on you people?

bigtt76: Abeg make she sell if that would make the refineries work. After all if the fronts invest into buying it and hike fuel price and no one can afford it, who loses? Not me and of course with the importation of fuel still going on, then no qualms.
Your point maybe valid in a non monopolistic environment, but naija is a different ball game entirely, what works to the benefit of the people in other clime have a way of failing woefully in this country.
For example we are yet to enjoy the benefits of privatisation of cement companies, even the telecoms companies are having a pseudo monopolistic arrangement and the people are paying the highest call rates in the world. There are many other examples, so what is the guarantee that the most important economic commodity - fuel will not be subject to these same evil pattern?

Jakumo: Anyone who seriously regards that hideously ugly, lard-asz skanky ho' as being attractive is probably into bestiality and all that other barf-inducing chit.

Taking a closer look at that nasty critter and you will find yourself doubting whether what you are looking at is in fact a female of the human species, and not a cross-dressed chimpanzee escaped from a mad sceintist's lab, in the aftermath of gender-alteration surgery gone very wrong.

There is nothing easy on the eyes in that picture, and one cannot but pity whoever it is that is saddled with the un-enviable task of having to mount such an alarming vision from the bowels of hell, in exchange for food money.
