From Union Berlin,he could have joined a better team... Forest aren't a team that will last long in the league... no epl team showed interest in osimhen when he was at charleroi. He only attracted man united after having a stellar season at lille but preferred a move to Napoli

Like someone replied you earlier, awoniyi had he’s reasons for moving to the epl and to me the 3 major reasons were to be with he’s young family, studies and money.

At Union I doubt he earned close to 20k euros weekly and believe he earns almost double or even more currently at Forrest. Also this players are wise now unlike ex internationals that merely had something tangible to fall back on after retirement.

Football career is short and the major reason why many footballers are diverting into earning certification to enable them hv a career in football, business or corporate world after their retirement. Emenalo and olofinjana are 2 good examples.

Even if Forrest drops to the championship awo will be comfortable and better positioned to achieve he’s main reason of swapping Germany for England

forget agent or sentiment onuachu is not as good as chupo

Moreover the move that took chupo to psg and Bayern were free transfer and he was only signed as back up

The guy made the move to earn more money. He has done it all in Belgium so it’s ideal he moves to a bigger league like the epl to test himself among the best as well as rake up retirement money

I've been thinking about this and I have come to the conclusion that Onuachu's agent must be very lazy and inefficient. In fact, the guy na cow.

Why did get him a move to Southampton of all places? Didn't he see mid table teams like Fulham and Brighton that specialize in a lot of dangerous crosses into the box?

Onuachu would have scored more goals playing as a back up striker to Mitrovic or even struggling for the number 9 spot with Welbeck/Ferguson in Brighton.

He scored lots of goals in Genk because he had the likes of Ito and Bongonda around him. These players knew how to cross the ball.

I can't even name any good Southampton winger/fullback but in Fulham, there's Willian. In Brighton, there's Mitoma, March, Gross. These players can guarantee you at least two good crosses each, per game.

If those teams don't want you, then stay in your Belgium or move to Spain/France.

its not about tricks... Lukaku does it alot.. runs diagonally from the right into the box then scores and since he is tall and big he doesn't need tricks because it will be difficult to tackle him and push him off the ball, other players will fall down looking for the foul...

Osimhen can operate like that from the right ( Chukwueze's wing )... I have seen him score goals from the right by running diagonally into the box and shooting the ball, the issue is will he drop deep to midfield to pick up the ball then run at defenders...

Griezman is at he’s best when deployed as an SS/AM which is he’s natural position. He can as well play from the right wing and cf which naturally makes him a well rounded offensive player but he is more effective playing behind a number 9

You can’t compare griezman’s ability to that of osimhen or awoniyi. They are differently built and hv their natural position which suits their attributes and natural abilities more

osimhen doesn’t hv those tricks and turns to operate from the flanks. He has the pace but I seriously doubt he will be a hand full for the opposition’s defenders coming from the flanks

Just like playing lewandoski,lukaku,haaland and haller from the flanks. They won’t be effective at all

I will rather try Moffi,boniface and Orban frm the flanks instead of osimhen,awoniyi or sadiq

The last trio I mentioned are out and out number 9s who are very effective when played in their natural position

He needs to leave Belgium fast to be be in our SE conversation. Despite Onuachu’s exploits there, his style was always going to mean he will struggle in SE, forget his few moments. Orban, May be too early to say, but he’s had a phenomenal start.
