TheSuperNerd: Joe Aribo vs Egypt Today: The Man, The Myth, The Number 10. Badass Performance. A Beast close to the box and a workrate monster.
1 assist. 1 big chance created. 2 chances created. 43 touches. 75% passing accuracy. 2 tackles. 1 clearance. Was fouled once. 100% ground duels won (4/4). 100% dribbling success (1/1). 1 shot blocked. 4 recoveries. Zero fouls conceeded.
Lad covered grounds keeping up with both offensive and defensive phases of the game.
When in defensive transitions, Aribo fell deeper and helped with the high intensity press.
When in offensive transitions, he covered ground intelligently to gallop up the pitch to contribute to an attack overload in the final third and in the Egyptian box.
What a lad. A real technical gem and workhorse in terms of covering grounds to be involved in both phases of plays (defensive and offensive).
Like I have already analysed, Aribo would be a true revelation at this Afcon as long as we see him get as often as he can close to opposition boxes and be involved in our attacking transitions. We saw that today. Expect more. can’t wait for him to make that leap to the epl Teams like palace,Leeds,Southampton and maybe brentford will be good for him |

We were going gong-ho attack when I thought what we needed was some steel in the midfield. baba my hrt nearly fall enter my belle I swear If I were him push aribo forward then sub iheanacho with Onyeka Few minutes later sub aribo cus he looked tired and bring in iwobi Chikena Simon he subbed off na energetic player and would hv finished the game the way he started without gassing out |

minfelix: Ejuke is one the super eagles players I love to watch....but you must give kudos to Moses Simon, going forward he and I heanacho, plus aribo behind them plus a lil effort from awoniyi were the reason kept the Egyptian on their toes....stop rubbishing his inclusion because you want to see end product...go and watch the replay of Sudan and guinea bissau....you go belleful for end product even pack some put inside take away pack dey go house....but wetin end there match...na 0-0... Go and watch replay of Algeria /Sierra Leone, u go watch end product taya till your eyes rise like Tinubu and oshiomole own...but wetin end the match...oga na 0-0...so give kudos to Moses Simon for his pumping effort of cross into the box, whether some connect well or not....no dey do like woman nyash there if I be the coach ejuke don play finish. Olayinka is better than him forget say em Dey lesser league and club |

TheSuperNerd: 3 touches. 3 passes. We were also defending when he came on so he didn't touch the ball as much coz he joined in the press... but when he did.... A Big Chance was born! That's class man! Be honest!
Nwakali did something. Set up Ejuke who squandered that Beautiful chance.
And where did I castigate Umar? Why do you like cooking up stuffs out of thin air? Did I not say all the lads off the bench did very well? You didn't read that? GOODNESS ME, Charles. Read!!!!

Meliforme: Our off-the-ball movements impressed me the most. yes the team worked together as a unit with lovely understanding and chemistry Awoniyi and kels performances are signs that both still understand each other after their under17 days Zaidu and Simon also worked hard for each other while aribo and ndidi were lovely to watch in the middle Even ekong seem to have better understanding with Omeruo than when playing with balogun |

Danielnino00: There was a time during the match that Eguavon barked instructions to Yobo.. Yobo then ran across the sideline to do something..I dunno what it was, but the man was not playing.. Rohr own is to give useless press conference before the match to talk down on our players (some people called it mind games) and then be looking all uninterested on the sidelines.. During the last AFCON, after that game against Madagascar, some ex international (I think Kanu) bashed him for being inactive on the sidelines, which was part of what contribute to our poor performance... Eguavon clearly understand how these things are done...
PS: I'm not saying Eguavon is a top class coach or anything, but he is definitely better than Rohr.. NFF should do away with this habit of hiring mediocre foreign coaches who don't understand our football..they just want to chop us.... he is miles better than rohr |

If lookman is cleared by fifa, dennis returns and kalu gets back to his best ejike an onyekuru don get invites finish for super eagles
Another player I want to see given enough playing time maybe in our last group game is olayinka
That guy will surprise a lot of pple here |

TheSuperNerd: You cap too much. Give Nwakali his plaudits abeg. Pressed well with the team, did his part to block off passing lanes and created a big chance all inside a 10mins Cameo.
Even Stats sites like Sofascore lends credit to Nwakali's short impact.
You and Komekn need to stop the agenda abeg. It is not healthy for you both. he had only 2 touches so what’s the fuse about? Umar that did better una castigate am but they make excuses for player that didn’t contribute anything when he came in I just pray we win our next game so that the 3rd will give room for fringe players to start which I believe he is one of them |

Mujtahida: He actually initiated the attack which Ejuke made nothing out of. with the team on a counter were you expecting him to pass backwards? The pass he gave ejuke was the best option he had so I see no big deal with that Even a pregnant woman on the pitch would hv passed to ejuke |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Papi85: 10:23pm On Jan 11, 2022 |
But when eguavoen brought in nwakali instead of Onyeka when the team needs energy, pace and physicality to defends its lead fear me ooo
That move he made was too damn risky |
