TV/Movies › Re: My Experience Using A Smart TV by papiilo(m): 6:05am On Jun 24, 2024 |
chatinent: Installation of Starlink would cost you over ₦40 0k. And I think there's a ₦30k+ monthly fee. Good side is it's unlimited; monthly is monthly..no expiration midway.
Secondly, if you are on MTN, you could do a 150gb for ₦16k monthly on a MiFi (or your personal device then share hotspot). Dial *121# for the offer from MTN.
Either way, both the smart tv, Starlink and DSTv are expensive. I use them and I can tell you there's no cheaper option.
I stopped using DSTv too tho since I watched only football with it. I use a free app to stream Live Matches now.
Meanwhile, if you are the movie type, you can download Movie Box on Appstore or Playstore and download movies free. Any movies.
If you follow a tv program or want a larger selection of movies (selected for you), DSTv can help. There is a movie package too.
Netflix is also expensive but can give you latest movies too and you can't find every movie you want there cos some are on Amazon, HBO, Disney etc. You'd do a monthly subscription plus data.
Cheers. nice |

Mom007: You can plant your own food. I will never stop shouting this. Yes you can't plant everything but you can plant some. I'm currently at an agricultural conference is Scotland now and we in Africa, na mouth naim we just get. We have not even started, in fact, we are not even in the race! Na private farms dey feed nation. Everything you buy, you will see 'proudly from Scottish farms', or 'supporting Scottish businesses' stamped on them. Government will never come and farm for you. Agricultural sector is the only sector that has the capacity to drive every other sector of the economy, ignore at your own peril. All these folks building hotels and filling stations upandan, can't you set up farms? Huge mechanised farms? Family owned business that will supply big supermarkets! I see cows wey be like elephant abi hippopotamus I silent. See livestock! Whereas, Our fulani are still busy using their lean hungry cows to cause nuisance and havoc upandan. Chai, who do us? I don't believe you |
