Jobs/VacanciesRe: 500k Per Month In Nigeria Or 2000pounds Per Month In The Uk by Papilagreen: 5:30pm On Jun 10, 2024
zagorakis:
I am afraid you are wrong and don't know what you are saying. Even 2k pounds a month is 100 times better than 700k monthly in Nigeria
Lol okay boss if you say so no problem I agree I am very wrong.
But since you are correct the let me educate u small.
Just fyi I will advise you not to convert that money to Naira and you hear the amount in Naira and be carried away just because you get paid almost 3 million Naira monthly.

No let me school you small Mr.

I know to get rid about 2000 you are paid by the hour let's say 17 pounds an hour so say u get paid 2000 pounds right now let's break it.

Rent say 900 pounds ( dead apartment ooo) cause for a well equipment apartment with up to date utilities you will be paying like 1300 to 1500 per month. For those of you living in the UK you know I am correct when it comes to rent.
2, light bill gas bill telephone bill broadcasting bill too because of you own a TV or you watch TV in the UK you must pay licensing fee. Let's say in all it will cost extra 250 to 300 pounds for this
3 transportation fee to work or gas for your car.
4 food.
5, family billing back home( which I will advise you to stop doing because to you are not an investment to them you don't owe them nothing because if you die they will continue to live)
See I don't want to continue the list goes on when it comes to living in the UK.
And 2000 is nothing i am not saying you cnt live off it but you will be living like a peasant I know what I am saying.
That's why people do 3 jobs in the UK they pay rent in the house they hardly live in because they work round the clock because they can't wise up and learn that one opportunity that will pay them better.
Nigerian what I advise is simple learn a good side skill that will put you more and then you will be a hot asset with great offer form better companies.
Our people come here and do health worker jobs tht even the UK citizens reject because it fucking stressful and less pay with stress.
If you go sell your property sy na 2000 pounds joboffer, yeah you can live off it but don't make it permanent because you will not progress to the next phase in life financially with such job in the UK. Know this and know peace.

Procashtips:
The average salary in the UK is £2500 so how easy is it for an immigrant to get a £3500+ salary?
See that's the problem we have as Nigerians.
We need to be well informed before you put your head dive into any situation.
Even in Nigeria we have what is called minimum wage. And we know what the minimum wage does in Nigeria when it comes to bills.
So also it is in the UK. As per minimum wage is about 2500 which comes to the final advice I will give you to land yourself a better paying job offer before you japa. Geta good skill a marketable one for that matter ND improve on it.
Only then will you be able to live above flot and bove the poverty line in the UK.
Know this know peace.

As the girlfriend nothing bad if you go out and get a job and pay for your own bills.
Na date una dey date no be marriage una do.

I am tired of all you over entitled Nigerian women. Go work for your own money if dem pay you take am do watin you want no give your boyfriend na your money you work hard for am.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 500k Per Month In Nigeria Or 2000pounds Per Month In The Uk by Papilagreen: 2:36pm On Jun 10, 2024
Okay well let me drop my 1pound advice.

If you live in Nigeria and you get a job opportunity in the UK for less than 3900 per month then sit your ass down in 9ja and endure the stress a little more. Anything less that 3500 pounds per month is not worth risking it.

After bills payments every month you don't have anything to write about savings it's just like working a circle with no progress report. Something goes for isa and Canada too if you say otherwise no problem. Happy traveling just sell all your properties carry like 15k pounds extra for bills or you done for.
Even the UK citizens living there won't take the job not because they don't want to its because it's not worth it.
HealthRe: My Sister Has A Mental Illness by Papilagreen: 4:43am On Jun 04, 2024
Bro am sorry I can feel your worry in your words as you write this post.

I just want you to know this. Mental illness is real and most people live with it and never know while most people know about it and deal with it. While others who have this don't know what to do because they are not mentally balanced to act.

In Nigeria people will say take her to church so they pray for her that she is demon possessed.

I m here to tell you today that it is a normal thing.
I only knew this after a while. There are different medications for this depending on the the chemical imbalance in the brain.
In Nigeria we are not well trained phycologist to handle this issues.
But I am here to tell you today that it's not easy living with her but for the love you have for her try and protect her from the world outside.
Such people are always a blessing to the family on the long run.
Stay blessed bro.

[quote author=tanigororo post=130249660]What's your proposed solutions?[/quot

The solution should not be a one mans decision right it has to be a dialog between suitable individuals who have been affected in one way or the other by the EFCC by no just cause only then after hearing such stories first hand can we all decide on what is best for you.

You own a gun for protection purpose you are labeled a thief. A country where you can not even fully practice your fundamental human right as a human what use is it?

You can own a gun for self protection if you are driving and police stop you for road they will search and arrest you even with you approved license they will tell you. FOLLOW US TO THE STATION for settle there ND we know what comes after.

You go to a police station and they say bailing is free right. But is it really free to bail somebody arrested on baseless fact. I.e accused of Internet fraud (accused not confirmed) but still arrested and paraded is that fair?

Who is to be blamed for the harassment?
1 The government
2 The so called yahoo boys

The same thing efcc is doing is the same thing the police and army are doing, they are all birds of the same feathers, they protect the real criminals and harass innocent people just to show they are working.
The country is designed to kill it's own, and the so called law enforcement agencies are helping to carry it out successfully. If you want to know how useless that corntree is, just travel out, you'll see that you're just existing there just like a plant, how will you explain to a foreigner that you can be arrested just because you look good, own a good phone and drive a nice car, and we wonder why we are called monkeys and are not respected in other countries. I don't blame the efcc much, because this days every young guy want to dress like a yahoo boy just so they can feel among and be celebrated, the worst part is that nigerians are still babies in internet fraud compared to other countries, but any small thing we do, we tend to announce it to the world, in other countries, people who are into fraud don't go about announcing themselves, they still appear like they are homeless, but in nigeria, one human being will scam someone, the next thing is to buy house, buy car, fix dread, wear coloured rags, take pics and post online, what do you expect, even the rubbish music they listen to is about ill gotten money and fraudulent activity, so why wount the so called efcc believe all guys are into fraud.
I just feel sorry for kids growing up in such slavery.
I vibe with you on this for a fact. I pick one or two from this thank you for your contribution.

No I am not a yahoo boy thanks for asking. I am only concerned about the way and matter our citizens are treated.

Nobody should be labeled. Criminal a thief or a fraud unless proven guilty with tangible proof that's all I am saying.

It's just like you accusing your brother of stealing some met from the soup pot when you have no tangible evidence just on baseless ground to prove a baseless point.

Also thank you for the offer on the $9 but I will pass. I make $18 an hour that's like $145 after taxes daily so I am good thank you for the offer but I will pass.

Most of the people EFCC are arresting are involved in one form of fraudulent cyber activity or the other.
Personally I feel jail time for internet thieves should be long enough for them to learn and master any choice vocational skill in the correctional facility, so as to equip them with a legit source of livelihood.
Only very wicked sets of people consider internet thieving as normal
Until proven guilty without 100% evidence dose not constitue here.

And the whole Nigerian rehabilitation system is a scam by the rule governing the rehabilitation system. Have you been to the Nigerian prison and see how the prison system operates? Well I have been there and seen it had friends arrested we had to go fight for their release because they were wrongfully accused. The way they operate in the prison system is nothing to write home about when it comes to rehabilitation. The Nigeria rehabilitation system is equivalent to 5 miles into hellfire ( if you Neva go you no go know. I will leave this statement for people who might have had any experience with the rehabilitation or prison system in Nigeria).

Finally when it comes to learning new skills, at the moment and point in time anything that has to do with advancing an individual skills to help he or she better their life for self sustainably, it will definitely have major technological resources i.e laptop computers with good latest GPUs great processing RAM. Good phones. Stable internet etc.
Because for someone to learn good skill they need access to the Internet to go to places or sites like skillshare, coursera etc.
But it's the same EFCC/police officials the moments they see you with a good phone or a very good laptop infact just a iPhone you are originally classified as a internet fraudster.

So please tell me, how do you think this great ideally of yours will work with respect to skill rehabilitation?

So I just feel like ranting a little bit today and it's something that has been disturbing me lately and this has to do with the EFCC and how they operate and also how this effects has also cloud our judgment. Please bear with me on this long epistle.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC is becoming a very big problem in our society Nigeria. And something needs to be done about it.

In America if you own a good laptop computer you are already classified as a responsible citizen but in Nigeria if you own a even if it's a dead laptop computer or even a mid level functioning phone you are classified as a fraudster.

I hate the way the organization so called EFCC operates. Infact Nigeria is the only country I have been to that you will be judged upon base on your physical appearance.

In America, once you reach the age of 16, you are 100% allowed to drive as long as you have your legal papers which allows you to drive. These kids drive very nice cars I see kids drive latest EV cars latest BMWs 2024 Mercedes Benz and never in my whole years of living in America have I ever seen a police pull any youth all in the name that they are driving a very expensive car and as such, they are much likely to be an internet fraudster.
But in Nigeria, a 35 years old man will be driving a dead 2005 Toyota Camry with almost 250 thousand milage on it with his fuel signal on showing red on fuel that said young man will be thinking how to get the next fuel for his car but yet, the police and EFCC will tag us a fraudster without proof I am painned.

Just today I saw multiple trending post of EFCC sting operation where they storm different states and arrested young men not just one but multiple.

And the proof they had to show were phone, smart watches, laptop and cars as proof.

Now I am not in anyway affiliated with Internet fraud but I am here to say this.

1, American commit more fraud than Nigeria combined as a whole but you will never see them broadcasting these men in public the way ours do. The only way you find out about people or even know about anybody related to fraud here is when they authorize you to carry background check before you see those information about them.
2, India, Russia, Canada, Americans dose more fraud than Nigeria will ever do combined. Nigeria can never top the chat with these countries and will never do when it comes to fraud in the next 30 years to come. But they never showcase there people like this until proper investigations are carried out and proven guilty as charged.

On multiple occasions I have been accused of fraud in Nigeria but never proven guilty in Nigeria and I don't want to talk about the police brutality that came it.

They accuse us of fraud if you posses any phones or computer or even a smart watch and yet it is those same technology that will advance us to the next level in life.

I will boldly stand and say today that the EFCC is one of the major parasite that has stopped Nigeria in advancing technologically when it comes to the truth, Nigeria if we don't do better we will lose our brightest minds to other foreign countries. We don't have anything to show for and we are called the first of Africa. To me that is a lie because our system is killing us and I think it is high time we hit a hard reset button.

There is no difference between an armed robber with an EFCC official they both operates at night breaking down doors damaging properties and threatening human lives just the way armed robbers operates so what is the difference between them both?

Left for me I will say na criminal dey lead us because na thief dey thief us like this.

babasolution:
Very true,Africa will discover alot of things in the future when some big projects will be done and improved technology is more available.

A lot of secrets and treasures will be discovered
Such technologies already exist but due to certain monopoly that exist in our Nigerian customs and norms i.e religious and traditional norms is still stopping us from reaching that goals.

For example, underwater rader detection systems, ecosounder underwater UAV,s for underwater exploration, lidar for aerial detecting etc. all this are already available but instead of our leaders to push a leap towards getting more broad introduction towards these and invest in them they won't.

Just a few months ago I heard custom took large drones and camera etc saying it constitutes tourist activities as the are above required specifications and I just look laugh.

Those are what we need to survey deep forests where there was ancient life forms before migration those are where the story begins but oh well.

Make I gather the whole knowledge I need when I come back 9ja I am very certain na me go start those explorations and I know where to start.
Those slave routes on sea I am very certain 20% of all those sunken boats within the Nigerian sea I will retrace those routes and find those sunken treasures golds silvers and lost African artifacts under water na where I go start
When them hear the todays values of such items and the history attached to it and the significant value only then will they start investing in such as well and I believe such will come to existence soon.
Christianity EtcRe: What If African Religion Was Recorded In Books by Papilagreen: 4:10pm On May 29, 2024
Quintopia:
Very intelligent and enlightened contribution.

I think the reason African religion was not written down was because Africans - and it was AFRICANS - wrote down religous texts for the REST of the world, whom they basically regarded as ''children in the mysteries'', to quote an ancient Kemet priest addressing the Greek visitor, Solon.

ALL THE HOLY BOOKS WERE WRITTEN BY AFRICANS IN REGIONS THAT THEY SETTLED ACROSS THE WORLD, AS THE WORLD'S FIRST SETTLERS AND CIVILIZERS.

The Bible, the Koran, the Sanskrit texts, the Egyptian Book of the Coming Forth By Day, and others, WERE ALL written by ancient Africans.

Those books have all been corrupted and distorted by the albinos, and nothing is as it was originally written.

But Africans did not believe they needed to write a holy book for AFRICANS in AFRICA because that was the equivalent of a scholar being taught A, B, C, D. An insult.

Africa was the 'Land of the Gods'. Africans were referred to by the ancient Greeks as ''the blameless Aethiopians'', and were renowned worldwide for their piety, honesty, and righteousness.

Africans were the teachers, and a teacher does not need to teach himself. Most of the principles enunciated in those holy books were known to every African child from birth.

This video is excellent on this topic:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSb8TswXoyo
I whole heartly agree with you 100%.

And soon enough we will be making those findings ourself as I am looking forward to being one of such people to start a leap of that and I will because we have so much out there lost knowledge that is well preserved somewhere to be found and that will pave the way to many more to come all from AFRICA to the world.

Okay well before I go any further with my proofs let me introduce myself to you on a baseless ignorant fact.

Firstly I am a geologist. I studies geology undergrad (which you people call bachelors degree in Nigeria) and did my first masters degree in the USA. I am a master degree holder in geology here in America and presently working on my second masters degree in movie production, directing and cinematography. I am already a permanent resident here in America aka (green card) I didn't get it with stress it was given to me based on my academic performance and my academic success towards my profession.

So in summary, if I don't know what I am saying, a US college professor will not offer me full academic funding all the way from nigeria with ABEG COME HERE and i did because of my hard work and academia success so with that I KNOW what i am saying.
Christianity EtcRe: What If African Religion Was Recorded In Books by Papilagreen: 12:06am On May 28, 2024
Okay so this seems like a very interesting topic so I will like to drop a few cents of minei have. You see I believe history of almost 2000 years old Africa is hidden somewhere.
Just like the old Mayan cities lost for centuries or like the great Egyptian empire where old relics and treasures that document past historical events and prophesies.

Most of these I believe if I may add my ideas might be hidden in Africa mostly I believe Nigeria all over nigeria but we lack the technology to advance on such.

I know we have lost treasures worth billions of $$$ yet to be discovered.
Past religions buried and preserved well hidden yet to be found.

I believe we will as time will tell only then will we find our true religion and forget about the so called white man religion inculcated in us by force.
Most people don't know that Africa is the birth of civilization from Africa all other nation and races evolved and dispersed all around the world.
If more archeological studies are done with the right funding, Nigeria or should I say Africa will not be the same again because only then will will know our true religions and callings

You are actually correct on this one.

My professor and I had a discussion on this a few weeks back in a group class on the topic of climate change.
One Chinese guy was talking about how their country is now able to use a technology to convert sea water into oxygen, which they store this oxygen transport it to their own part of their country ocean side then release these oxygen into their clouds and then use another said technology to covert that cloud oxygen to rain and it then falls into their own ocean side.
They use it to increase their ocean side and plant irrigation. It was a very interesting and eye opening topic and I enjoyed every bit of it and it's scary too if you look at it the other way round stealing other country water resources.

If you say water, you are right.
If you say land, you are right.
It all depend on your submission. On what we can capture with our eyes, water is vast than land. But a deep insight into the topic will bring land as the answer because land is the bedrock foundation of all river types.
I agree with you on that as well
But do you know there is so much uncovered territories under the sea than on land. Infact if you do more research you will be surprised that the day man is able to carry out more expedition in the ocean to savage the land under the sea will you know what will be discovered?
Take for example thousand of years meteorites that missed trijectories and fell under the ocean now just laying on the floor. Do you know hidden empires covered by water during the stone ages all those histories and knowledge hidden from man when those water are able to be navigated then we will be able to calculate the land mass which I know for sure is more covered untapped knowledge yet to be explored.
