Okay this na very educational topic so make I dive in small join..

My own 2cents is this.

It all balls down to you and what and where you see urself in the future. I was once like u in this exact same situation and I made my own decision and I must say it is the best decision I ever took by relocate to the United States.

At first when I came here things wasn't easy hell it isn't still easy but we scale through always and that's life for u.

For me, I didn't only put my self into consideration but I also put that of my unborn children. U decide what u want and go for it..

Me presently I get peace of mind I dey see food eat anything I dey see steady light and water with little stress..

And presently chasing my dreams I am in my 30s as well and I will tell u something, Nigeria failed me to the fact that it was only after I left that country tht I began to see my self worth and a brighter future ahead of me..

I plan to come and invest my talent in Nigeria in probably the next 5 years from now because I want to take over the entertainment industry production to be precise.. as I am presently studying film studies and cinematography big time here will be don in a few years time. This I would never have accomplished in Nigeria so my brother follow ur guts.

I don't think you need to put that on your resume about your deportation because Information is t available outside the turkey immigration database..

If I was you I will only say I have traveled to different countries including Turkey. It isn't required of you by law to disclose that unless if asked by a CBP officer.

So today am a little bit free and lazy I have much time at hand so I just feel I should sher this tips and if you are able to benefit from any of this. Send me a thumbs up and I might be motivated to shear more.

Okay so before I dive in, this topic is not just for people mostly students who are already in the United States but those who plan to come over in the future then I hope this helps..

Before I start I wan drop one small quote or advice for una wain get plans to study in America in future.. see stop procrastinate if u wan do am start am now or na u go still waste time and effort. This is my reason..
2019 December I left 9ja, when I was paying for my visa application fee for the embassy then it was 85,980 naira. As of today it is 150. Thousand naira plus I was shocked it skyrocket like forex I wan mad so the more time u waste the more money u pay in dollars so take ur future by ur hands and act now.

So this all exclude the process of applying and securing your visa, this process is after.
So here it goes..

1, No amount of money u carry come will get u financially prepared for what you will face financially when u get here.
Today's amount rate of dollar to naira, if u come here to come buy anything, fear go catch u when u convert am to naira equivalent. U no need seel ur papa last land to come here carry the small change u get come just make sure say e go last u 3 months minimum just Incase u no know anybody here as per JJC.

2. Before u leave 9ja try as much as possible to read about everything u can about the state and area ur school is located, try and know the major busy spots in that locations i.e, restaurants, bars, bakery, recreational parks, hospitals etc. All this you can do via Google just try and know some major things about the town B4 u land trust me it will help I will tell u later on.

3. Even after u secure ur admission ND visa, try as much as possible to keep in constant communication with the school via email, make sure they know you departure and arrival date at the us. Infact breakdown ur travel intent for them to know it will help you on this two major grounds I sublist below:

a, Incase u are having issues at the port of entry with the border protection officer, I have seen this happen before they will stop you just for no reason and ask you questions like where are you going to, who are you going to meet and the reason you come here. If you can not answer those questions correctly and as well provide contact information of the school they might send you back home. So in summary, if that happens to you and the BP officer reaches out to the school, they will be able to confirm you as one of their student and tell them exactly where and when u will arrive so you have a solid case..
My own village people no follow me reach that side I use central market distract them so I cross am easily.

b, the school might even provide you free transportation ride from the airport to the school if they have your schedule with them it is considered a vip treat for you all international students 😁.

4, no go waste all ur money buy cloths save every dime u can just carry ur natives them and few old clothes come just buy one nice shoe wear come.

Reasons are:

a, clothes we wear here are different

b, I give u 7 months tops u go fat big pass those cloths and the clothes no go fit u again lol so it's useless now because long troat go make u wan eat everything u no go know when u go tell urself to find gym to go exercise..

5, as soon as you land school, take note this will help u alot.. trust me on this..

First thing to do is go for your international student orientation then go and register for classes.
Then immediately after that, go to the student employment office center and apply for a job. It doesn't matter what type of job u get first on campus. I.e, some campus jobs are great less stressed while some go stress u die just get one. By law, international student are able to work 20hrs a week to my best knowledge unless dem don change am because I no know again I now work full time because I am pass that stage.
So we continue... So as a soon as u secure job, by law if u get any job for America u must get social security number which is a must. But here is the trick because u are only allowed to to work 20hrs a week, u will be given a social security card which is only for work with some certain restrictions. But here is the catch.
It comes with a lot of benefits so I will try and break them down real quick.

If you able to secure a job ( you have to act quick because sometimes job positions are taken quick so no go dull) you will be given a letter to take to the social security office for you social security card/number application. Go there do ur paper work pay the fee not that expensive depending on the state u are prices varies.
Apply and get ur card although it takes about a week or two to get. it when it arrives your mailbox, rush to the nearest Drivers licensing registration office in your county, go with you international passport ur new social security card and proof of address and apply for a driver's license. ( You need to take a short exam and a driving test to pass and get ur drivers license). With ur license now in ur possession, u can no drop ur passport at home u no go dey carry am Waka again Incase police stop u for road.
Finally I know say all the money u carry come go don finish on bills no money for food etc. Use ur SSN and driver's license apply for discovery credit card. U get $1500 minimum use am dey survive no go over do just use for food and pay back every month amount due it will help u build ur credit score for the future.

I think I will stop here for now make I no get una bored but if una need more scope e plenty.. I go sher with una how una go dey fit work and pay ur school fees wella in no time if I get good comments as motivation

Maybe you didn't read my comment well enough we saying the same thing ain't we.

These juveniles can never go to store to buy gun rather they patronized the bad boys on the street to buy/rent gun for as low as $100 to do unlawful act, which can cause them to get locked up if get caught. There are many stolen guns on the street.

That's what u saying anybody can get guns everywhere in the streets of America.
Am saying I got mine legally and I am going through the legal process or registration and I know everything before purchasing a gun.

Summary anybody can get gun in America through the right way or otherwise and I chose to get mine legally and for the sole purpose of protection thank you very much Law Enforcement Officer.

No child of under 18 can have access to gun or possess gun as per gun policy and no sellers will honors same purchase request.
If the police arrest you for having gun in your possession while under 18
your charges could range from :
1. Unlawful carrying of weapon by a minor
2. Possession of firearm by a person under 18
3. Unlawful carrying of stolen gun/weapon. (in a situation whereby the gun belongs to your parent because they will claim the gun was stolen to retain their license.)

All these department of juvenile justice serious charges that are jailable for nothing less than 45 days

So I decides to make a post today on here. Please note, this post is for educational purpose only and I feel it might be helpful to people who are first timers in the United States.

Today i wan talk more about the rampant use of guns in America.

My people do you know say for almost every state for America, once u don turn 18years old you are entitled to walk into any shop and buy any kind of gun ( to some. Specifications) easily. All u need is a valid Identity card and you good to go. To sum it up, to buy gun here in America, is as easy as going to the market in Nigeria to go and buy Garri..

I know of kids 18 years wain get like 7 different guns for him room the mama and papa dey buy am as gift for am.

For America, dem no dey fight with hand ooo like say boxing say if u beat me u win if I beat u I win.. na towa.. towa... Before u say jack Robinson u don dey answer ur judgement for heaven.. if u no take time American kid of 16 years old go clear ur doubt broad day light for front of Walmart no cap.

Everybody dey waka with their guns..

Dem don initiate me for here so me today I say make I show una how easy I buy two guns today not even brand new na pawnshop I buy am.. for those of una wain no know watin pawnshop mean na where u fit go sell and buy anything but here na gun dem dey sell.
I don see two guns I like since so today I just wake up Waka go buy two of them because dem enter my eye.
And cheap too both of them $600.
I paid with my card and did all the paperwork so by Friday my guns will be delivered to my house dem don go clean am up and service for me and as well register my gun for Kentucky state police data base so it takes like 4 days to finish the process the guns I bought are special tactics weapon so it needs to be inspected by the police before I have it.

I can't wait to hold my new babies in my hands soon hopefully by Friday..
I highlight the two I bought as you can see in the pictures.

I will be making some videos and pictures when I go to the shooting range in the woods to test the heel out of my new babies I will keep you updated..

So in summary it's for protection purpose.. I go dey one inside the trunk of my car and the other inside my room and infact when I get paid next month,bi will go buy another pistol I go dey use walk around..
I have a few in mind but I nova make up my mind which one yet to buy for the pistol.
By law, I can walk with my pistol in hoster and hidden only to be used when I am in a dangerous situation.
I had lots of pictures I took but only able to post 4 but if una want more make una comment ask I will gladly shear more..

My best advice make up your mind where you want to go and plan from there.
I have never been outside my country before my first time was America and I did all the application process and got my study visa.

I don't know much about Canada PR but I know my PR took me just 8 months to process I got my pR barely 3 years in America.

My advice na information and to follow who knows road for the path u decide to follow

So actually when I say 20$ I no mean I save just 20$ monthly..
Infact make I Yan you small update. I don work like work a 9 to 5 job for now.. I used to work and school when I was in Illinois when I was studying for my first master's degree what I do back then infact still do it on my pleasure time whenever am bored at home presently.
But back then when I was fully hustling I school and work. I do have classes 3 times a week and those days I don't work the rest of the days I work like 6 to 8 hours daily I do what is called door dashing and what it means is that you pick up food from restaurants and deliver to people at home or at their work or at school so basically, people who are busy at school or at home or at their place of work and don't have time they place their order on door dash app and we pickup and deliver to them and we get our percentage. Basically I just drive there I pickup the food and I go deliver on a bad day I make 75$ and on a good day I make up to $150 per day.
For now I am presently working on my second masters degree in movie production and cinematography. I already have a master's degree in geology and bro i will tell you my school expenses yearly including school fees and textbook amounts to bout $23,000 I pay off pocket I don't have any scholarship. So I pay off pocket. I pay from what I do doordashing.
My wife works for the Kentucky state government she makes good okay money to keep up with any of our need expenses and we get to save more too. We planning on buying our own house soon and we plan on paying cash not loan or mortgage plan because we know how to plan well let's say I know how to plan I am good with money management my wife on the other hand don't.
Also when u say skills I am a geologist pu profession I get offer for job for here yearly I get paid $98.000 I turned it down
My reasons.
I my daughter is just be turning 2 in September still little and from Kentucky to Florida is far I can't leave my daughter for now

Secondly geology is what I studied back in Nigeria in the university before I came to America that was the course I got admitted here when I got admission for my master's degree program. After I finish am truth be told, I never loved to work full time as a geologist because it's a risky professional but with good pay.. what I love to do is be a move producer and a director ND that what I have always wanted. My family we come from entertainment background it's like it's in our blood.
My elder brother na musician and he is doing great with it in Nigeria him dey make good living from. And me movie and music production has always been my passion that's why I dey film school now and I am happy with what I have gotten so far. So Nigeria make una dey expect me soon I am coming over to take over the entertainment industry..
With that said bros money na money.. last month na only $20 I save for my future project I wan come do for Nigeria previous months B4 that $500 this month I already had 1200 added some months are good some months are bad and every month I dey send Monty to family and friends ooo I get big family for Nigeria so after every every and I don pay my bill here as well for America ND I save $20 that month I will will happily say I try

China today is the world power like top 1 countries with great GDP.
The only issue with China is the population as well as the climate conditions aside that nothing.

One advantage of you coming to America as an international student is that you will meet lots of people from different countries.

I met people from different countries ND we still good friend. I have friends from china.japan. Taiwan Norway Finland and Samoa of all of us including Nigerians as well all of us who came here after our studies those who came from China and Japan went back home they said their life there is better because of their culture ND food. The moment they done with their studies they go back.

Most families from China comes from wealth family dating from the old Chinese dynasty and their wealth no be here I get good example like my previous roommate quminng is his name he came to America solely for his doctorate degree and as soon as he was done he went back he hate it here due to the gun violence because for China guns are not allowed by anybody to wield it's against the law.
So abeg try get your into right. Abi u no know say na china dey top the world in terms of tech or innovation?? Even America dey fear china now just fyi America go take china more seriously than Russia when it comes to treath do ur research and get ur facts right..

It depends on what your sole purpose of coming to the USA is for and each purpose differs.
I.e school, professional work training, job, leisure travel etc you name it.
And if it's for each purpose like for me I came as a student and my case was different.
Depending on the school and the tuition fees and the cost of living in that particular state.
Also things u need to be looking at as well should be accessibility to various stuff like food because before you go dapt to American food minimum 2 years because it's a whole different ballgame entirely.
Also accessibility to jobs social activities etc.
And as well your area of specialization your field of study and which school best suit your study route and so many more.. in summary, even after u make it here u still need to learn the ropes on how to go about the life here that's why it's always advisable to follow who knows rod to get the best idea on how to go.. information they say is very vital in these process.

U am a geologist with my master's degree with the opportunity of getting paid up to 120,000$ yearly. But I don't want to go down that path due to personal reason instead I am chasing my dreams on what makes me happy presently studying film studies ND cinematography at University of Florida and when am done I will unleash my work to the world..

So now let me ask u do you live in America and if yes do you drive a car? And if yes have u ever had a car breakdown? And if yes how much did you pay for it
I don pay $4000 just to buy Kia engine 2014 Kia optima because no American was willing to open my engine and see what's wrong inside they don't have that time to waste.

Infact how much do you make an hour if you live in America? I want to know.

My guy who is a mechanic with no degree makes $60 minimum and hour. So dey there dey mum just dey play.

Mechanic here wain I know wain come here less than 2 months ago works in a mechanic shop but makes crazy bank. Better money.

Any hard job na him dey direct the work to.. the guy dey break engine down replace parts like say na childs play and for America here the mechanics dem dey dread engine work if ur engine spoil na to go buy new one dem no dey open am. But this guy dey run am steady other oyinbo guys dey envy am cause he makes what they make a week in one day. So you do the maths again.

First of all before you think of relocating to another country you need to plan real good.

If I should be honest with you the 6 months time range you can make it happen but depending on the country of your choosing.

If I will advice you of countries to relocate to these will be my best options for you.

Luxembourg
Sweden
Finland
China
Norway
These countries are my top choice
Second choice
USA
Canada
Australia
Mexico.

So haven't did that I will add this for you..

6 months won't be enough to get you to any of these countries minimum time u need 1 year minimum and it depends on the rout you taking and how you go about it.

I live in America ND America is a good place except for it drugs challenges and gun violence and some policies they implement in their government system of rulership.

My advice take your time plan not just for your self but for your son. What opportunities are you going to expose him to and how best to achieve this..

I relocated to USA in December 2019 and it's the best decision I ever made.
The only thing be say I dey try as much to avoid problems much as I can.
Reason be say anybody for America u wan fight, 98% chance say your opponent get gon chucked in his body somewhere and won't even think twice to empty the clips on your body dem no sabi use hand to hand fight here na gun them know and you can get guns easily here like say na garri u dey go buy for market.

I do have a gun myself but legally for protection and I don't walk with it I keep it at home Incase somebody try to break into my place. In summary na for protection.

Things are hard everywhere for America right now we dey recession too but still on that I dey see 3 square meals eat easy. I dey fit save even if na $20 monthly after all my expenses which includes helping family and friends back home monthly but I don learn to dey give with wisdom sine I now have a child.

To sum it up for you bro.. if you decide to choose the American route, from my experience it will take you nothing less than 1year and 4 months minimum so the earliest you start the better. Still on still the way us embassy dey deny visa now days dey fear me.
My kid bro was denied visa the truth be say na to prep yourself go well because e their questions is phycological u need to be smart to not losegard they ask same questions twice in different approach and you give two different answers you done DENIED VISA..
You have to get your shit right B4 u go by prepping well. Hopefully he will still try again I know people who go like 3 times B4 dem grant them visa mine was one try I got mine. So with some of my friends I helped to get here.

I will always say this... I know of person very close to me wain only sabi say him papa name for English the rest na hand him take demonstrate and dem give am visa ooo. All you need is confidence and prep well for your interview..

And finally before I exit the floor bro you can relocate with your son via study visa to come study ND find your self a job placement to sponsor you for job employment visa ND you good to go. You bring your son with you as a dependant. Very easy just apply for am along with you.

U no need millions to relocate to America but you just need the right information which you have Google for unless you need professional assistance which you can get if you have the right info..

Last last you go dey alright if you are able to make it here. Talking from a guy who came to America with just $250 in his pocket without knowing anybody. And it's the best decision I ever made..
