Thanks. As a business name, the tax you will pay will be PIT ie personal income tax. It's the profit derived from your business that will be subjected to tax using graduated rates. |

Some will say another candidate has been taken, others might be age related While we were impressed with your background and experience as shown on your CV and would like you to join our organization, we have however carefully reviewed your request and are unable to proceed with your recruitment... They are simply not serious! |

primeson1: Juat got a regret mail now from PBB after like 6 months for asset custodian position.
Nawa for them o. Bros I got the same regret mail for same position and same time. I truly feel sorry for them cos I ve already moved on with a better pay than wat dey were willing to offer. I see why Stanbic would always be a kid among adults in the industry. Candidates for various positions would be placed on hold for a period of 6 and sometimes 8 months to get feedback. It such a bad practice that only thrive in a bad economy like ours. |

Lots of people ve succeeded in either correcting "indomie" or "indomin" without answering the question of wat to expect at the interview. Graduates need to understand simple question, provide answers and make suggestion concerning mistakes if any. My bro, I do not know much abt de-united; makers of indomie but it's expected you know ur cv very well, speak of the job role u r being hired for and give a general impression abt urself. Expect things like can we meet you, why shld we hire you, where do you see urself in the next 5yrs, wat do you consider to be successful at this role among others. Wish you well. |

DebbyD1: It is true HR teams in Nigeria need some serious upgrade in terms of communication. However, I would say I and some other people being considered for the WHO State / Field Officer role were contacted over a week ago to inform us the recruitment process is still ongoing, that we'll be contacted soon. We've all had the exco chat, so I believe it's the medical phase next.
From a reliable source, the delay is caused by some management decisions to be made and I don't think it is appropriate to communicate that with prospective employees. Nevertheless, there should be some update for candidates while they are waiting.
All is well! Nevertheless, there should be some update for candidates while they are waiting; Hence one can safely say Stanbic isn't getting it right here! |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Stanbic IBTC Is Currently Recruiting by papirus(m): 10:36pm On Jun 08, 2015 |
worusabi: We re in no position to determine or decide the pace they should go with d recruitment, in dis situation we find ourselves, we ve no choice than to wait with hope. Though its pulsating but they hold d ace we re just spectatators Much as I agree with you that we can't determine the pace of our recruitment, it's also not good enough to keep prospective candidates waiting for too long without any response watsoever. If Naija were to be a competitive country, why would somebody queue for a job process that would take this long without a word from the recruiter? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Stanbic IBTC Is Currently Recruiting by papirus(m): 10:30pm On Jun 08, 2015 |
Hiploko: They should better conclude with those that have done medicals because another series of interviews and medicals commences soon for those that wrote over the weekend and the graduate trainees yet to write. That's the most appropriate thing to do. I think coys in Naija has a way of sending negative signals to "would be staff". There is nothing wrong in telling prospective employees that the process is taking time for "soso and so" reasons but they will surely be contacted when necessary. No such mail has been sent to me and some other persons here. I understand some got the mail though. Ve tried to find who to ask questions but 2 no avail. Thanks 2 18wheller who has been helpful here. Stanbic hasn't been fair to us. Same with other establishments. They contact you wen they want to. Thank Goodness some of us r working. Otherwise we go dey wait for stanbic and our mates go marry, born finish we still dey wait for exco chat. |
