You were not refused the visa because you haven't visited a schengen country or the economic situation of the country. You were refused because you claimed to be self-employed but did not show it. You can appeal by replying the email if you have documents to prove you actually have a company (must be registered); show also that the company is still alive - bank statements alone can do this; show your own personal bank account. If you don't truly have all these, don't even bother to reapply using same format talk less of appealing. |
kbower:Chief, I want to talk to you like a man. I'm married too and had a relationship before marriage where the girl was almost everything you talked about. Thank God we did not get married. Please take note that I'm not telling you to separate from her or divorce. I will never do that. It's normal for you to want to turn a blind eye to what your heart is telling you because you have been 11 years with her. My guy, if I was making a call with my wife and somebody brings his face, and then appeared in her church, and then asks her to help with accommodation, and then says my wife's ass is big, man!!!! Even if the man has all his children, parents, siblings and ancestors there..... let me not say what you are thinking. But the day my own wife get to this point..... let me still not say. What am I trying to say? There is something going on that you do not know. Be prepared to face that thing when the time comes whether in the UK or Nigeria. When that time comes, do not exhibit violence, do not ever raise your voice, do not harm anyone including yourself, just make and take the right action. Blessings chief. |
Hmmm. How do people manage in marriages like these? If your story is true, these are signs that there are many things going on with and in her that you probably dont know about. If this continues, you guys would separate at last. Be a man, take the hard decision. Let her and your kids be the dependent ones, not you. Also, it is better to live a good and peaceful life in Nigeria than a bad one - which you would later regret - in the UK. |
edoairways:My guy, he's just a businessman like every other person. Once you get mind yab God, everyone would be interested. |
And who is/are the kidnappers here? When would we get it right in this country? When? |
Much later in the future, it would be released that coronavirus was less fatal than malaria. |
People still dey catch corona? Also, I thought it's 2020 that there is covid19, why is the post saying 2019? |

Rubbish story from a rubbish writer |
micronut:Meanwhile, we all think the lady that took this pic would be cute |
So? Meanwhile, are these the celebration pictures? Is this how people use to look when celebrating? |
While we were sleeping, the NCDC declared almost 11,000 people free from covid 19 between August 3rd and 4th. Ever since, the average recoveries has been less than 500. You can confirm on https://nairametrics.com/2020/08/05/covid-19-update-in-nigeria/ Let's ask ourselves the right questions!

Chibu5050:Can you send it to me please. What way would be most comfortable for you? |
Just had a nostalgic feeling of some books I read in secondary school days. Please reply if you have the soft copy of the following books: 1. The African Child by Camara Laye 2. Dreams of Africa by Camara Late 3. The passport of Mallam Ilia (not so sure about the writer) by Cyprian Ekwensi 4. The drummer boy by Cyprian Ekwensi |
Reminds me of a book I liked then: The African Child by Camara Laye. Would love to get them again. |
elgorethi:Could you elaborate please. Have you obtained the visa recently and got it done without a national ID card? |
micfoley:Thanks a lot. I wonder if the embassy would recognise the slip from NIMC. It's my first trip out. I already have the e-visa alternative by the side. However, I still hope they won't demand for that same national ID card. I'll do a search on this. |
MajesticKris:Thanks. I'll make some more research. I hear it takes ages to get the card. |
MajesticKris:I'll check out for how easy I can obtain the number. But does it mean I can travel if I have the number but not the ID card. Yes? |
I intend taking a 2-week trip to Istanbul. On checking for the requirements for a visa, I saw National ID (original and copy) as one of them. I have never had a National ID card and even got my passport without it. Would my application be rejected without my including the National ID card? Can I replace with a driver's license? Similar experience needed please. |
Dharryedu:Just a little detour from your post. I recently checked the requirements for obtaining a Turkish visa and saw that National ID card is a part of the requirements. I intend to visit Istanbul for a 2-week conference and do not have the strength for all you read online about how difficult it is to obtain the ID. Are there ways around that? |
