LagosFirstSon: Famous Nigerian singer and internet personality, Peter Okoye, popularly called Mr P, has reacted to the controversy surrounding the launch of Nigeria Air.
DAILY POST recalls that the acting Managing Director of Nigeria Air, Captain Dapo Olumide in a meeting with the Senate Committee on Aviation on Tuesday, confirmed that Ethiopia aircraft was chartered to unveil the country’s national career.
The revelation comes after the House of Representatives had declared the launch of Nigeria Air a scam.
Reacting to this in a tweet on Wednesday, Peter Okoyo lamented how money continues to disappear from the country through corrupt politicians.
He tweeted: “Monkey stole billions, snake swallowed billions only in Nigeria. Now they borrowed an Ethiopian aircraft for a photo shoot worth 190 billion naira wetin remain again, dem go soon sell this country.”
A few hours before the expiration of the former President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, the immediate past Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on May 26, 2023, hurriedly unveiled Nigeria Air on the claim that it would generate $1 billion in revenue within five years.

mrcoolautofix: Now they are cutting off fuel subsidy with thier incompetence and corrupt practicies to rejulvinate nigerian refinary,
Always Stories that end with hiking fuel price, power tarif, stolen crude & blame innocent citizen, sell crude generated revenue and say there is no money, stollen money by stakeholder, borrow and create more debt. Then make life a living hell for nigerians who cant loot why, cos we are tribilistic. This has been the manifesto
Hence removing the tooth without first injecting anastasia, so now every avarage nigerian will bleed to death.. this is what you call renewed hope?
Other countries subsidize for lots of things to make life easy for thier citizen, nigerian government is to cut off everything means of easy life and make it hard for nigerian to suffer Education, Health and Power is still subsidize |

Atiku won 14: 554,360 votes Tinubu won 2: 399,293 votes Obi won 7: 294,494 votes NNPP won zero: 92,969 votes
How did Tinubu get 399, 293 votes in 2LGAs? and Obi couldn't even get 25% after wining 7LGAs Common sense is not truly common |

Ofunaofu: We are negotiating, hoping that the government of the day will retrace it steps The NLC knew people were not interested in the strike that would made things worst. I'm glad NLC and TUC have done the right thing, they didn't go on strike and had a good agreement with the Government. The TUC and NLC must make sure the Government do their part of the agreement When Government start failing to do what was agreed on, then you will see Majority Of Nigerians supporting the NLC and TUC in going on strike. One thing is sure right now though, subsidy on petrol is gone just like the ones on Diesel, Gas and Kerosene. |

Ofunaofu: Whether the Strike hold or not, I am not here to argue that with you
The only thing that will stop it from holding is the federal government revert to status quo.....the old price
Budget provisions where made for subsidy up til June, June is just beginning I hope you will agree with me your comments is just base on emotions and not base on your love for the FRN. Govt budgeting money for something no mean say Govt don release money for the thing Subsidy is Gone with the Buhari Administration. |

Ofunaofu: You are very funny honestly
The only thing that can stop the strike is if the federal government revert to status quo... the old price so that meaningful negotiation can take place
We are not in a dictatorship Have the FG revert to status quo? Fuel Subsidy is gone my brother Stop talking base on emotions Every sane person knows there's no need for a strike right now, the strike would have failed woefully. The Government and Labour Unions don sign some agreement, when the Government fails to do her part, then absolute majority of Nigerians will support the NLC and TUC to declare a total strike |
