But honestly, our females aren't doing better either. They rely on males for money after offering sex only. |

Who made ipob the spokesperson of the SS? When did we ask for freedom? Get your freedom for yourself if you feel so oppressed, why include people who don't care? Better go and educate yourself. No referendum will be conducted on our soil because we didn't ask for one. ahaz: listen my brother many of you misunderstood what ipob stands for. its a freedom movement for the entire southern Nigeria and other oppressed ethnic nationalities in Nigeria with eastern Nigeria as a focal point. Igbo's are not forcing anyone to join Biafra and we can never do that. we are presenting the opportunity, as many as those that are interested will join,if you cliam you are ijaw and are not going with us,all well and good. one thing is sure and one thing is certain, the Nigerian state can never break our ethnic boundary in the name of south south rubbish..our Igbo territories must be with us certain..And that spans from Benue to Edo to delta to rivers, parts of cross river etc. After our traditional territories are taken, refferndum will be conducted for the rest that wish to join Biafra and not we forcing them..if st the end only akwa ibom agrees,we will leave the rest to flex there one Nigeria..its as simple as that. |

That it is in the Bible doesn't mean it is accepted. Murder, fornication, incest, homosexuality, pride, theft etc are all in the bible. It doesn't mean that it is accepted. michlins: I have to tell you but there's nothing wrong with what she asked. She told you that she wants the child from within the family and she has stayed to mourn your uncle respectfully.
This is totally in line with our tradition as Igbo people. Even the Bible supports the idea |

You are the only hypocrite here. Firstly, there was no single Christian in the old testament. Secondly, God didn't kill him for not impregnating his brother's wife. clintz: In the Bible book of genesis 38 God kill Onan for refusing to impregnate his late brothers wife. Nigerian Christians and hypocrisy we select only what we think is right in the Bible. |

Since you believe the bible whily not also quote John 10: 33 which says, "I and my father are One" ProudlyAfarmer: 1 Thessalonian 4:11
“That you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business , and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.” |
Politics › Re: Do Not Be Deceived: Igboland Is Landlocked And Will Face Economic Hardship by Parisian: 8:49am On May 21, 2020 |
Did you even read or understand my post? I said the SS ports will "slap them with huge taxes/levies" for using their seaports. If you think any landlocked country has the exclusive right to use another country's pprts for free then you're as gullible as Islamic extremists who think 72 virgins await them in heaven. Plus, the SS states can still refuse to let SE use their ports and heaven will not fall. The worst the UN will do is slam them with trade sanctions. Keep destroying bridges other than building them and think the UN will come to your rescue. gidgiddy: Not true. The same law that gave Nigeria a certain number of nautical miles as Sea territory also denies Nigeria the right to use that sea territory to deny another sovereign country access to the Sea. Article 125 of UNCLOS(United Nations Convention On Laws Of The Sea) states:
Article 125: Right of access to and from the sea and freedom of transit 1. Land-locked States shall have the right of access to and from the sea for the purpose of exercising the rights provided for in this Convention including those relating to the freedom of the high seas and the common heritage of mankind. To this end, land-locked States shall enjoy freedom of transit through the territory of transit States by all means of transport.
Yes Nigeria has 200 nautical miles, it it has no right to use it to deny the SE access to the Sea. |

Oga, what you said makes absolutely no meaning. Go over what my comment and try to give a thoughtful response next time. IGBOSON1: Your argument is flawed!
You’re assuming this so called SS will either remain in Nigeria as is (still the same SS, and i’m assuming with Igbo territories like Egbema and Ndoni), or will leave as is (still with those Igbo territories), and form Niger-Delta Republic!
And another thing you’re assuming is; when Ndigbo leave alone, that the present anti-Igbo political-economy, in place since 1966, will still persist which will see the likes of Efik/Ibibio/Annang, Opobo, etc, team up with Igbo haters that have been running things since ‘66, to frustrate the newly emergent Igbo nation!
You see how flawed your argument and that of the house-nigger Churchill Okonkwo is!?
The worst thing anyone can do if they want to try and persuade/force a Igboman away from a cause of action is to say he can’t do it! |
Politics › Re: Do Not Be Deceived: Igboland Is Landlocked And Will Face Economic Hardship by Parisian: 8:40am On May 21, 2020 |
I honestly don't even know how people are still this much ignorant despite having access to the internet. Firstly, even if they were to build a seaport which large or even average sized ships can berth at in the SE, they would need massive dredging of lands in SS territories. Which country would allow you do that to their land? Lol Area4Area: I've educated that person you quoted about the nautical miles which is exclusively owned by any country with a seacoast but he has refused to learn. Biafra don't have a seacoast so how are the ships going into Biafra or coming out going to navigate that area without any agreement with Nigeria?
This is even if Nigeria allows Biafran ships through her land territories with no agreement |
