Stop breeding like pigs, your population is becoming unsustainable, its the simple truth, people that are hardest hit in this hard times are people with large families, your land is not increasing, the larger the population the greater the pressure on land

Lagos and Abuja are both well developed cities in world standard, we should stop inferiority complex. Everybody that travels like the op can testify to that. What we lack is maintaining culture. There are places in both cities that will make you feel like us or uk. Stop passing wrong information because you hate your country
a city of bohole, and unorganized transport, please don't mention Lagos, it no follow

Lol, even though your concerns are genuine in terms of land conservation, but there is little or nothing you can do about it.

Nigeria is a capitalist country, not socialist. You don't force people to use their land for agriculture or whatever purpose. They have the liberty to make that choice.

The agriculture you're even referring to, is peasant farming which is bad. Peasant farmers are often than not, very poor. They're usually at the lowest level on the food chain.

I think Igbos should rather encourage greenhouse farming. We don't have enough lands for massive plantation farming. Israel is a force to reckon with in agriculture, despite having small land, even smaller than Igboland! What they did was to maximize their optimal yield through innovations and technology.

As small as Igboland may be, we can be able to produce 5x more food and other agricultural output than even Northern Nigeria. That's where technology and innovation comes in.
after you have finished the little land on useless bungalows.im into farming, poultry and piggry it's profitable, we should be wise in land utilisation, some villages in igboland are migrants in other villages because they don't have land again to build, even if u see to buy the prices alone is eh

How can you acquire land from people with limited lands?
ask him, he is not advertising his people to invest in agriculture, Which is the new gold mine in Nigeria, in fact who ever that feed you is your master, igbos will learn this in few years after the have wasted all their little land on building bungalows
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Pascal9: 1:52pm On Jan 10
Nchenches:

Bro.
In Orlu, there are large empty and uncultivated lands from Umuma Isiaku and Ogboko in Ideato South towards Nkwerre and towards Orlu (Catholic Bishop's court) towards Mgbei and Ihioma, towards Ihiteowerre. This empty land can house three New Orlu cities. All IMSG needs to do here is acquire the land, build few roads in the lands, then start to sell plot by plot. From the proceeds, pay compensation to anyone, if ever there will be anyone who will still lay claim to ownership of any trees in the land.
In a few years, Ndigbo will build up all sorts of living mansions and business here.
This is a virgin land in Orlu, perhaps larger than New Owerri. Orashi river which flows across this vast land shall be a blessing to the New city or cities to emerge here.
hunger will use your people fo training, that is why everything is expensive in orlu, starting from umuaka, they've wasted the little land they have on bungalows, can't you invest in agriculture which is the new gold in Nigeria today, foolish people.
Politics / Re: Pressure On Peter Obi To Run As Vice To Atiku In 2027 - NationalDaily by Pascal9: 10:05pm On Jan 05
omoharry:
So you expect a northerners to contest and win for 2027 election .. I am surprised PDP is still in bed with Atiku..The main reason Atiku lost the last election was becos it's the turn of the south but he decided to contest anyway .His action eventually made Obi leave for another party and the south was divided and with it some PDP strong hold.
It would be foolish of him to contest again.
instead of looking for who will make life better, you are talking of north and south

i will take the risk, if he is foolish enough to send me 5m, then he has enough and it's corruption money, he cannot transfer his hard earned money like that

My lawyer pikin no de around me now, I for ask am the exact legal implications.
Anyway, I know it does not end up well. See, over the years I have seen such and I know the wahala is not worth it.
Fine, a mistake was made by the sender erroneously transferring money into your account. That does not confer on you ownership of the money. The onus is on you to bring to the notice of your bank.
To "swallow" such money is sweet, but to "vomit" it out is bitter.
Do you know that you will be reported to cbn and your BVN blocked for eg 10 years? Can you live without a bank account?
Anyway, as a grown man, it is left to you to do as you please.
for what exactly, did i hack his account, did i force him, do you think bank will allow you transfer 5m, without a secure password, didn't my name appeared before he transferred the money, what case does he have against me, that he mistakenly transferred money, does the law recognise it, onless i don't need the money or im being religious, otherwise the money is mine

I heard you. Why are you so sure you will get the opportunity to spend it to the last dime? ... is it not possible you get arrested and imprisoned after spending just the first dime? ... or an envious friend ending your life because of it? Just saying.

@ topic ... isn't this what anyone with half a brain should know to do? ... return the money? ... only a fool wouldn't.
just try me with 100k for a start, go and report me efcc , bank police, let's see whether you will get kobo back.

They us why I asked earlier, are you from Benin? Lol.
You want to chop money that is not yours and it is traceable to you. Not money you found in a bag on the road at night with no one watching ohh. Instead money paid into your account for which you have no link to the sender, no business transaction etc.
Omo, the money might be (according to you), your "own" on the short term, but on the long term, you will pay a higher price than that money.
soo what makes the sender to send me the money, oga what will the sender said in a legal dispute with me, oya send me ordinary 200k, let me see how you will reclaim it, or you think the owner of the money is a fool, if the money was fraudulently hacked from his account, then he has a case, but if he or she used his hand to send the money, sorry is his name, there is nothing the bank can do

Are you from benin? Because as I heard, do coded mago mago deal with benin man and you both will end up in jail. Lol

You obviously do not know things work. His account has NIN and BVN. Have you considered the implications of both numbers being flagged? Aside your accessible details, all known accounts linked to your bvn can be blocked or traced. With your nin also, all your phone lines, bank accounts, international passport, driving license, voters card, vehicle registration etc. How do you register the "benz" without nin?
"Disappear without a trace" is quite easier said than done.
let me ask you, when transfering ordinary 1k, doesn't the recipient name and account number show, don't the bank ask you for your secure password before consummation of the transaction transaction of 5m and above oga that money is yours, onless you don't want it. The person that transferred it doesn't have a case
