NNPP is a dead horse as far as presidential election is concerned. Even at the state level, everyone is just looking for the right opening to quickly join APC before the governor eventually dumps the party. Kwakwanso wants to be president and it is only a national party that can deliver the presidency to him. As at today, we only have two parties with the national spread to win presidential election: APC and PDP. By joining APC and delivering Kano and indeed North west to the party in 2027, he will be a hot favorite for the party's ticket in 2031 when power will automatically go back to the north. He may even emerge as Tinubu's running mate if Shettima is dropped in 2027.

If he joins Atiku's coalition of hate and envy, he will only be a bench warmer no matter the outcome of the election. And to make it worse, he can't contest in 2031 as Atiku will be seeking a second term and after that, power will return to the south. So i ask again, why exactly should a Kwakwanso join your coalition? To get what?
