UserX18:
Please I’m yet to understand the word “destiny” and how it is connected to the kingdom of God, how it is connected to salvation(eternal life), please if you can, explain to me.
Because I know the word of God is to make us wise unto salvation.
God has a general and also specific destiny for all..
Generally, He destines all of us for heaven and that can be seen in II Peter 3vs9,10..

Specifically, how numerous we are that's how we have different destinies. You get to know what you are when you get Christ. When Peter met Jesus, Jesus told him "thou art Simon the son of Jona, THOU SHALT BE CALLED CEPHAS (that's his destiny). Jesus also told Ananias "go thy way: for he (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and Kings and the children of Israel. So if you want to know your destiny just #Repent and get Holy Spirit cause #HE is the one that knows deep things of God 1st Corinthians 2vs9.

A verse to summarize this truth is Psalm 68vs18 or Ephesians 4vs8 "thou has ascended on high, thou has led captivity captive (that's the salvation or repentance) and gave gifts for men..

If you still need anything, I'm here
Christianity EtcRe: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by Pasqual(m): 6:18am On Jun 21, 2018
No need to argue and cause people to debate. When they gave birth to you, did you bear your mothers name or your fathers' name? His name was transferred.. The same way with sin... Anybody delivered through that act of sex becomes sinful. The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she delivered Jesus. That's a miraculous delivery. Hence, Jesus was delivered without sin not that Mary was not a sinner..

Abiso2017:
Tonight if any christian answer all my questions i will become a christian the question are:
Q1. In the bible tell me the said "i am a bible and i am from God or the word BIBLE in the bible"

II Timothy 3 vs 18, 19 says "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be thoroughly furnished unto all good works" No matter how a passage might look, poetic, instructive, romantic, etc it is the world of God... Read II Peter 1 vs 20, 21..

Q2. In the bible tell me the verse said "I am Jesus worship me or worship in my name"

Revelation 4 vs 11 says "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: four thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" also Read John 13 vs 13; Philippians 2vs 9-11...

Q3. In the bible tell me the verse said "every christian should go to church every sunday and worship God"

Hebrews 10 vs 25 says "Not forsaking the assemblies of ourselves together, as the manner of some is but exhorting one another, and so much more, as ye see the day approaching" The early church gave us a footprint. Read in Acts 2 vs 42. 1st Corinthians 16 vs 2 says "Upon the first day of the week, let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come"

If you answer my question tonight i will become a christian seriously.
All I have to tell you is still from the Bible... Acts 2vs40... Save yourself from this untoward generation.. Happy Sunday

Actually, Pythagoras did not even bothered much about the squares on the alphabets; that's why in his triples you don't see the squares there... Making C the subject of the formula (since you ain't looking for c squared) yields square root of a squared and b squared.. Hence, I give it to Einstein... Though I'm a fan of Pythagoras

SportsChelsea Are Invincible by Pasqual(op):
A 14 minutes come back against Liverpool ladies on the last day of the season was what was needed to end the campaign as undefeated champions.

Liverpool ladies took the lead in the 1st minute and extended it in the 9th. It took Aluko goal to return hope in the 71st minute before Ji's brace in the 81st and 84th minutes respectively to complete the comeback and undefeated season.

The win means Chelsea ladies are champions after 13 wins from 18 matches and 5 draws. Manchester city ladies who are 2nd on the log trail Chelsea ladies by 6 points.

The unbeaten that Barcelona male team lost in the tail end of the season was accomplished by the Chelsea female team.

A record invincible. Cheers to the female team of Chelsea
NYSCThe Connection You Need Before Going For NYSC by Pasqual(op): 5:06pm On May 20, 2018
Don't need to tell you what NYSC is since I believe that at one point or the other, you've seen some people or you know some people that are called corpers.

We have heard so many terrible things about their orientation camp which they said it is a semi Sodom and Gomorrah. Even Sodom and Gomorrah had people that escaped the doom of it so if you'll follow the same footsteps those who escaped followed, you'll also end in safety like them.

The following are the reasons why they escaped.

They knew somebody (GOD'S FRIEND; ABRAHAM) and you have opportunity to know somebody greater than Abraham. HE is JESUS and HE is all you need to escape the doom of the end time.

How can you meet that friend? He says in Matthew 11vs28 "come unto ME all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I'll give you rest"

Where can you meet HIM? He says in Revelation 3vs20 "Behold I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with ME"

Finally, when do you need this connection? Now/Today. Isaiah 1vs18 says "Come NOW and let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. II Corinthians 6vs2 says "...today is the day of Salvation"

Why won't you (I mean YOU, yes YOU) come today? Wherefore As the HOLY GHOST saith "Today if ye (STILL YOU) will hear His voice (You just heard), harden not your heart... Hebrews 3vs7,8

COME AND EXPERIENCE A CHANGE OF LIFE WITH CHRIST BEFORE ORIENTATION CAMP SENDS YOU TO AN UNREPAIRABLE LIFE WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD YOU TO HELL
CrimeInnocent Man Who Was Killed by Pasqual(op): 11:56am On May 20, 2018
I wonder why people take harsh decisions even without getting all the necessary facts. This innocent man (photo with-held) was killed for an offence that HE knew nothing about.

The offence was actually committed long before HE came into the world by two individuals and as a result, their seed continued to suffer and some are still suffering but an Innocent Man who wasn't a heir to that man was killed in a shameful manner.

The culprits are Adam and Eve and the killed innocent Man is Jesus Christ. Though HE didn't inherit that suffering but HIS birth and death were prophesied immediately Adam and Eve fell so that you and me can receive freedom from that suffering.

Isaiah 53vs1-12, Matthew 26, 27 and 28. Mark 14, 15 and 16. Luke 22, 23 and 24 and John 18, 19 and 20 all account for the suffering of Jesus Christ for Mankind.

You'll be more brutal than those who killed the innocent if only you'll allow HIS death to be in vain. It's not by celebrating Easter that will make you recognize HIS death for us but by Forsaking that sinful lifestyle HE came to destroy. I John 3vs8 says "he who commits sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning; FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL"

Today, if you're here and you're still committing sin, truly YOU are the child of the devil and all you need to do is come to Christ. HE says "come unto me, all ye that labour (in sin) and are heavy laden (with the consequences of sin) and I will give you rest.

Come to HIM today cause tomorrow may be too late. Today is the right day... For HE says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of Salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION (II Corinthians 6vs2)

Make a Life changing decision today and your tomorrow will be superb in HEAVEN... HAPPY SUNDAY
RomanceThe Husband You Need by Pasqual(op): 11:26am On May 20, 2018
Many desire Loving husbands and HE is LOVE personified.
Many desire husbands with home and HE has more than a home.
Many want wealthy husband and HE is very wealthy.
Many want famous husbands and HE is widely known arguably in all the continent.
Many want husbands that'll understand them and HE understands all you had, are and can ever pass through.
Many want a husband that will always be with them and HE is always with us.
Many require husbands with no inlaw problem and I tell you, HIS inlaws cannot even have any problem.
Many want husbands in power and HE is not only in power but HE has all power.
I can continue to say more about HIM but I know you already have a glimpse about this Husband I'm talking about.

He is JESUS CHRIST and HE's all you need to have a better life because HE is Life HIMSELF. Why waste your life with who cannot satisfy you (the Devil) when you can have a satisfying life with Christ.

Jesus Christ is always at the door waiting for you to open up to Him. All you need is to open the door of your heart by Forsaking your sins and Returning to God.

Isaiah 55vs6,7 says "SEEK YE THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND, CALL UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR; LET THE WICKED FORSAKE HIS WAY AND THE UNRIGHTEOUS MAN HIS THOUGHT AND LET HIM RETURN TO GOD AND HE WILL HAVE MERCY AND TO OUR GOD FOR HE WILL ABUNDANTLY PARDON"

Today, you can find HIM but tomorrow might not be yours so you should make the greatest choice of Life while you can. There's still opportunity for you today.

For HE says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of Salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION (II Corinthians 6vs2)

Therefore as the HOLY GHOST says: "TODAY, if you will hear His voice, Harden not your heart..." (Hebrews 3vs7,cool

Good morning brethren,
Please i need to know this, Is betting (Gambling) a sin? answer with with biblical reference

2. Can i pay tithe from money earn from betting?

Thanks and God bless
I don't have any Bible passage to quote for you but betting is same as gambling and it is a sin. Samson gave the Philistine a quiz and that was not gambling but Goliath's request for Israel to provide a man to Battle with him can be related to gambling... GAMBLING (betting) IS A SIN...

2. God hates giving from a dirty source.. When I have time I'll give Bible passages for that hence it is unfit to give Tithe and Offering from that kind of money...

Hard truths are believed by few so I'll not be surprised if any comes with something otherwise
Christianity EtcRe: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by Pasqual(m): 3:36pm On May 19, 2018
What you need to know about Christianity...

It like a building has a foundation, body and roof.

The foundation is Christ. When one wants to become a Christian; He/she must encounter Him and that experience has to change that person's life. When Apostle Paul encountered CHRIST his life never remained the same. That was the foundation of His Christian life and that will be yours if only you'll get that same foundation which is CHRIST.

The body is what is done after you get that foundation, II Corinthians 5vs17 says "if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature; old things are passed away: behold all things are become new" Hence, your begin to live in a new way and your former way of life is removed from you.

The roof is eternity. If you continue to the end in this Christian life, you'll end in Heaven and that'll be your roof. Anything other than continuing till the end will take you to hell.

The question is this "if you die Today? Where will you spend eternity"
Note: you cannot spend eternity in Heaven if you don't live in a Christian way.

You can begin the Christian journey if you have not started it because II Corinthians 6vs2 says today is your day of Salvation.. Tomorrow might be too late

If U have 5 reasons why Lukaku is the perfect replacement for Costa, I have 5million reasons why Lukaku is not a striker... He's not dependable... how can a classed club like Chelsea have Lukaku as their top and Dependent striker?
Is like Madrid having Lukas Vazquez (who in my own opinion even better dependent) as their top striker... Buy an experienced striker of around age 26-28 or better still give Batshuayi a chance compared to bringing back Lukaku...
SportsTim Hague: Former UFC Fighter Dies Aged 34 After Knockout In Boxing Bout by Pasqual(op): 10:09am On Jun 19, 2017

TV/MoviesSir Roger Moore, James Bond Actor, Dies Aged 89 by Pasqual(op): 11:59am On May 24, 2017
Actor Sir Roger Moore, best known for playing James Bond, has died aged 89, his family has announced.
He played the famous spy in seven Bond films including Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.
Sir Roger's family confirmed the news on Twitter, saying he had died after "a short but brave battle with cancer".
The statement, from his children, read: "Thank you Pops for being you, and being so very special to so many people."
"With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. We are all devastated," they said in a Twitter post.

The actor took the character of James Bond in a more humorous direction than his predecessor Sean Connery.
Sir Roger's Bond was calm and suave - a smooth operator who could seemingly get himself out of a tricky situation with ease.
The veteran star, who died in Switzerland, will have a private funeral in Monaco in accordance with his wishes, his children said.
"The love with which he was surrounded in his final days was so great it cannot be quantified in words alone," read the statement from Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian.
"Our thoughts must now turn to supporting Kristina [Tholstrup, his wife] at this difficult time."
The statement added: "We know our own love and admiration will be magnified many times over, across the world, by people who knew him for his films, his television shows and his passionate work for UNICEF which he considered to be his greatest achievement.
Along with his famous Bond role, Moore was also known for TV series The Persuaders and The Saint.
Sir Roger was also well known for his humanitarian work - he was introduced to Unicef by the late Audrey Hepburn and was appointed as a goodwill ambassador in 1991.
Tributes paid
Russell Crowe led the tributes to the actor on Twitter, writing simply: "Roger Moore, loved him."
Michael Caine said: "I am truly sad and think I will be in tears if I talk about him.
"Roger was the perfect gentlemen, adored by all his friends."
Michael Ball said : "My dearest uncle Roger has passed on. What a sad, sad day this is.
"Loved the bones of him. Generous, funny, beautiful and kind."
Mia Farrow wrote : "Few are as kind & giving as was Roger Moore. Loving thoughts with his family & friends," while Boy George added: "RIP Sir Roger Moore. He was the king of cool."
Duran Duran, who sang the Bond theme song for A View To A Kill, simply tweeted:
RIP Roger.
In a statement, fellow Unicef ambassador and actor Ewan McGregor said: "Thank you, Roger, for having championed so tirelessly the rights of all children for the last 26 years.
"You've shown that we all have the power to make a change to the lives of the most vulnerable children."
Frank Gardner, the BBC's security correspondent, recalled how he and Sir Roger had become good friends in recent years.
"He even watched me ski past his chalet in Crans-Montana [Switzerland] while sipping a drink on his balcony," he said.
"He had a wonderful sense of humour and I will miss his jokes by email. We had lunch together only a few months ago and even after all these years he seemed surprised that his career had been as successful as it evidently was. We will miss him."

SportsManchester United Returns To 6th by Pasqual(op): 6:36am On May 11, 2017
It's not surprising as Manchester United returned to their normal position where they stayed for over 100 days before pushing Arsenal down.

Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud both scored yesternight to send José Mourinho's Manchester United back to the position they have stayed on longest for this Season.

Manchester United are trailed by Arsenal's 1 point and will have to wait for Arsenal to slip so as to go top though José Mourinho already said that his side are not eyeing Champions League qualification through a top 4 finish as his side is the only English team (struggling for a top 4 finish) participating in an European competition. Manchester United still have to play Tottenham as one of their 3 matches remaining.
Mathematically Manchester United can still qualify if Arsenal and Liverpool will allow a slip with Manchester United winning all remaining 3 games.

youngest85:
Yea I agree with him coz we are all humans
Speaking not on the basis of Apostle Johnson Suleiman but on your comment that we are all humans.....

The fact that we are humans does not give us any right to commit sin or fall into sin.

Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy (I Tim 3vs1,2) says This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless...... also speaking to the Ephesians (Eph 5vs3) "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints" and we saw how he condemned the Corinthian that defiled his Father's wife (I Cor 5vs1 and 13). Furthermore, The sin of immortality is one that God frowns seriously at and if saints should not commit such, should LEADERS OF THESE SAINTS (who are also saints) commit such?? What message are we then passing to the world? the Bible rightly says "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?" and the reply was God Forbid... (Romans 6vs1,2)

On this, we are all human.... It's not an excuse to go astray.....

And if this allegation is true, though God will still or has even forgiven, but it's a big shame to Christianity that our worldwide leaders cannot keep close walk with God and can even fall into Great sins like Adultery. so how will they expect we their flocks to live right...

MAY GOD OPEN OUR EYES SO THAT WE SEE REPROACH AS THEY ARE AND NOT ALLOW MEANINGLESS AND SATANIC QUOTES TO LOSE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND EVEN HEAVEN ON THE LAST DAY....
