I was born and grew up in Lagos State and I moved from my parent house to stay on my own then I married with a kid now.
I moved into new apartment in the year 2018 and to my surprise this morning, 27th of October 2019, the landlady knocked my door and what I saw when I opened the door was white envelop, she handed it to me and left. I opened it and read through, my eyes opened widely as I saw Notice To Quit. I have done nothing and no reason is stated in the letter.
I became weak and didnt even know what to do for a while then i think i should share my shocking experience with my amiable family on nairaland.
When I packed in, I noticed many unreasonable things like ; 1000 naira for pumping of water every month and this doesn't include PHCN bill cos we use prepaid.
The box that contained the pumping machine switch would be locked and we still pay every month. I protested against that peacefully till I was given a key to have access to pump the water.
I later heard from different people who have left the house that that is how they do till they will frustrate the tenant out of the house.
I dont really know what to do, I need your reasonable advice please.

Maybe the woman think u talk too much just like my own landlady wen am in Osogbo. The woman will be telling dos people that are using one room to pay 1 thousand naira for phcn bill like her who is using 4 rooms, God will build your own house for you that ur landlady maybe Pastor ooo

The government should make it easy for those trying to help accident victims to get to the hospital or to the police station in case it is not fatal not to be criminalised, the way it is being done presently. More Nigerians, who are the kindest people in the world, would want to help if they would not be harassed or intimidated by the police when they want to help accident victims. And our healthcare providers should also assist by saving such lives first before demanding egregious hospital bills in order to attend to accident victims brought to the hospital. A law can be passed in this direction.

U re right,but this Nigeria police report hmmmm, always send people away from helping accident people because if the person should dead inside someone car the person will write statements or go to jail self

Happening now in Enugu at front of my work place...

A mad man was caught packing used pad in a dustbin in front of Tommlyn hotel which is at the back of Roban store Enugu..

It happens that a lady disposed her dirt in the ESWAMA dustbin which her used pad are inside immediately she turned a mad man approached the waste bin and start packing something. She said something touched her and she had to go back to the waste bin only for her to notice that the man packed every pad she tied in a black lylon.. It was then she alarmed those around and they chased and caught the so called madman
