I have similar case and want to use my uncle as sponsor. Any advice please....

My mom sent all the money to my account. I dint submit any documents since the money was in my own account. I just explained when asked who’s paying. You can’t use your uncle, you can only use your parents or yourself so tell your uncle to send the money into your account.

I was tracking and got a mail to pick it up.

My 2 cent is avoid putting implicating documents with your applications..If your salary is not very very fat don’t put any document that shows it..Work ID card and a letter headed study leave letter is okay to show you work in that organization.

Thanks..Standard. Decision was made since 24th July but got a mail from Tls on 29th July for collection. I got my passport in 14 days after application.

First a big congratulations. I would like to know if you used the standard visa service or priority? I did my biometrics since 16th of July and used priority service but yet to hear from them. I called last week and was told decision has been made and should contact the VAC, almost 10 working days and no word from TLS.

I used standard..It even came a day earlier than the normal standard.

Thanks to God and to all those that answered my questions..Granted a year and six months visa for a one year course at Coventry.

Did you consider other schools..I said 4 Uni Names and said I compared Tuition, Ranking according to Guardian League Guide, and what my faculty has.
Future plans (I was given a one year study leave from my work)
How will the course help you achieve that (I mentioned some modules I would be studying and how they relate to my course)
Expected salary on my return back to my place of work.
Who’s funding my schooling (Maintenance was in my account but I explained my mom has been sending me the money)
How many dependents does your sponsor have
Where would you stay in School.
How much is the accommodation ( I mentioned names and amount for hostels I remembered)
Where my mom’s business is located at, annual returns, how many years has the Business been running
The lady was nice, she gave me time and said I was fast so she could type my answers..
She then said hope she was audible enough and I asked if I was audible too..She said yes and all the best in my application.
Note: I was scared before I went in but I relaxed when I saw it was a normal 15.6” (Lol) computer with the interviewer on one corner of the screen. �

Hey guys...so I have been following this thread silently since last year and now I have gotten my tier 4 entry clearance...I'm just so grateful..so i felt like sharing part of my testimony... I had the most crappy interview on the 8th and my visa was ready on the 15th of this month..Priority Visa sha... I was too nervous during my interview and said things that were rejection worthy..lol...so in case you are reading and feeling bad about your interview, whatever you did..mine was worse walahi..the interviewer had to convince me that it was just for formality before I could stop saying "no" anytime she asks "am I ok?"
I cried after my interview..you know this kain " I don throway money" cry.. people around were consoling me sef.. I feel that if u ever get nervous when you start the interview and it's terrible...just keep indicating to them whenever they ask that you are a bit nervous... I think that helped cuz half of my interview time was spent on making me calm by the woman.. At the end sha all the glory belongs to God...cuz I kept on praying mehn..

Am choosing kings cos of the prestige and they have the 1st and best nursing school, though i applied to 4 other schools in which Greenwich was among but i didn't get offers
My aunt plans to accomodate for 6months. Though we plan to be accomodated for just 3months and she says my partner can get a job in 3months
I also have an offer for university of bedfordshire which is cheaper but na name we dey chase. I think i better i rethink my decision as you don put fear for my mind. Is it really that hard staying back even as a nurse?

I think you should check “guardian league table” for ranking..Not sure Kings College is Number 1 for Nursing.

Please, for the tuberculosis test, is it just the x-ray that is done? Or do they have a range of other tests too. I'm asking because I saw a thread on Nairaland that someone said they did both blood pressure, height, weight and some other tests.

It’s just chest X-ray, I think that blood pressure and all are for Other Country’s Medical fitness like Canada.

He should transfer the money to your account or your mum’s account.

Dorm account can work perfectly fine as long as it is presented in the required format (letterhead, full bank address etc.)

I always advice people to print oanda exchange rates on either the start date and the end date of the 28 days count to include with your applications.

I read on a UK thread of a place around ikeja GRA and av been calling their number it was ringing but nobody answered. Pls can anyone tell me how I can book an appointment apart from that? And is there anybody that know where and how I can book an appointment for IELTS exam in Lagos aswel?

You have to keep calling them to book an appointment for the TB test, they have about 3 numbers. Then they would ask you to pay 54k at standard chartered bank and come with proof of payment alongside international passport. Try and book early because they said if the chest is not clear they have to do another test to confirm and that second test comes out in about 10weeks.
For the Ielts, you can book online via British council website or idp website.. Google them or search for the office address and go there if you are not too clear about booking online.

Hi Chuks, have you done your interview yet? September too.

Its not UKVI's business who sends the money, the amount of money, if the 1Billion got there in one day.
Just make sure your tuition and maintenance has stayed in your account for 28days before you submit your application.
Whatever you pay to the school should be deducted and the balance in your accounylt.
