Politics › Re: Oyintiloye: "Don’t Give Up On Tinubu’s Administration" - APC Chieftain by patrickcollins: 9:25am On May 13, 2024
Ofunaofu:
Even the APC chieftain, Mr. Oyintiloye, has given up on Tinubu, not to talk of Nigerians themselves.

Even the notorious nairaland resident BATerian below me has given up on Tinubu. He just doesn't know how to say it.
Hunger na ur mate, though I didn't vote for President Tinubu but after he emerged I said to myself I'm ready to join his supporters if he could turn things around, After all we all seek for good welfare and better Nigeria, if a man from my State is president with harsh economic state i have not gained anything but have since giving up on him and such thought as failure is written all over his administration the man can't achieve anything meaningful he is busy sharing misery, hunger and poverty. But I take solace knowing that every Nigerian is having a share of his wickedness.

Remman:
If by any means South Africans let this opposition win, their country will be like Nigeria. This threat was similar to what APC Buhari used to take power from PDP GEJ and today we're paying for our mistake.
Those opposition are mostly white men who know what leadership is all about, they can turn the fortunes of South African around for the best
Politics › Re: Tinubu Orders Suspension Of Cybersecurity Levy by patrickcollins: 10:14am On May 12, 2024
donbrowser:
The levy has nothing to do with Ribadu. It was created by the Jonathan administration
And it has been unimplemented but those that saw no good in Jonathan's tenure rushed to implement it, because they derive joy in taxing the poor masses
Politics › Re: Tinubu Orders Suspension Of Cybersecurity Levy by patrickcollins: 10:12am On May 12, 2024
Morphinne:
At least Nigeria now has a listening President unlike bubu.
If it’s Buhari that made the policy, no amount of gnashing and screaming would make him rescind the decision and that’s what makes him a terrible leader. Good leaders listen.
I was never a supporter of president Buhari but he is better than the man doing the Job now and is good Buhari has seen how he failed but when in Office his party members never told him the truth

If Government want to make a harsh policy, they First throw it out to the public to know their reactions..when the criticism get intense they will shield their sword and. But would implement when the tension downs without minding Our criticisms
If we had protested when he shouted subsidy is gone on his day of inauguration we wouldn't have it this bad but his supporters were dancing praising him how is a good policy and rejoicing that he has hit the ground running, how it will favour them and their family. But thank God they are partaking in the misery the fake first class graduate Accoutant and a wack Economic guru has continuously reeled out
Business › Re: Top Ten African Currencies Compared To US Dollar by patrickcollins: 6:38am On May 12, 2024
Putinofrussia:
Basically,it is mostly the poor masses that spend naira but the elites, foreign missions, govs etc mostly spend dollar.
It has been there for long barely noticed because Nigeria was still sinking bit by bit and because we have had mostly mumu govts in Nigeria who always thought that Nigeria was rich and no matter what they do even negatively,Nigeria will still be rich.
Just like some undiscerning people were saying that if a dog rules Lagos,it will still continue to be rich grin
Some people are so ignorant.

FG should monitor those govs, bank CEOs too closely because they are part of the rot.
Tinubu is the problem how can someone just take hasty decisions on policies without wide consultation, on the day of inauguration he shouted subsidy is gone without stepping foot in the office to check the numbers, he floated the naira taking it from 700 to 1500 what good impact have these had on our economy

Taxing the people isn't the issue
Lack of good governance is the real problem

People pay more tax in advanced countries but they might not complain because they enjoy good governance.
Cost of food stock are very cheap there because they want a healthy populatiion, here these old wicked men give no Bleep whatever the poor masses go through but yet budget food and other allocations for their families

A man with unstable character spent 5 years as a president without any legacy.
And the highly revered sai baba spent 8 years and left a legacy of poverty and economic destruction. The first class graduate of Accounting and an Economic guru a man who single handedly built Lagos has stayed one year in office and every Nigerian is enjoying his wonderful Legacies

Fubara the one term Governor.

This dude no Sabi the dirtiness in politics. If he does, he would have looked away in some of the things happening and act as a Novice till he secures 2nd term, na den he supposed fight dirty with anyone with all his power and strength.

But the dull Politician dey form what is not when he doesn't have grassroot support.

Rivers can't be Lagos.
Wether he serves for 4 or 8 years it makes no difference, is only in Africa people think this way, Ambode served 4 years, Sanwo-olu will serve 8 years what's the big deal if actually they are there for the masses and not for selfish gain, only in Africa they take leadership position for money making business

They should be chased away from that building and real owners of the state the poor masses to occupy there

So this whole of Africa is not big enough for African leaders to hold an African event but instead prefer to hold it in America.

When had another continent leaders flown to Africa to hold their continent's summit?
African Leaders are daft always globe trotting to all nook and crannies of the white man's nations in the name of useless summit, why can't those white leaders visit Africa for an African Summit, Tinubu and Shetima always on one useless summit to another with no positive outcome to the country
