For all those urchins trying to make excuses that for Tinubu to have lost these states below that it means that the election is free and fair.

Osun: his home state
Lagos: his adopted state
Kano: Ganduje state
Katsina: Buhari state
Plateau: His campaign DG state
Kaduna: Elrufai 's state

FCT,Abuja inclusive

So he lost all those states including FCT and went further to win the elections? What kind of magic is that for someone who claims to have the popular votes?
I can see how popular he is to have pulled that magic off. If he lost all the important states and FCT,how come then? Keep shooting yourself on the foot with all the claims. From losing those states,it means he's NEVER the will of the people, therefore he decided to manipulate anyother territory he got his co criminals to cover up which is evident from all we are seeing.

Tinubu with the aid of INEC chairman engaged in a very successful rigging galore! The law of nature will take its course moving forward. That's all I know. How it's gonna happen? I don't know.

He should carry his muslim-muslim ticket to Pakistan, they will welcome him awesomely with such ticket. Not this Nigeria.

We can't continue with this nonsense in this country.
The people in those States are more Nigerian than those in others?

I know you for jumping into arguments without understanding the other. When you are shown facts, you start explanations and hoping one sticks.

This is what you said

I gave you an example of Tinubu; He holds no position in government since 2007, yet he is the biggest out of Lagos. He even removed a sitting governor from power.

Instead of you to admit your logic is flawed, this is what you typed again

How does this align with what i said?

Like i said, the people who understand my point have explained likely causes for that.

You don't have to join a discussion you don't understand
You goofed by arrogating so much powers to a Governor. In a democracy you are saying El-Rufai is light weight for failing to deliver his state. Tinubu couldn't win Lagos is he also paper weight? Don't tell me about history, we just saw Tinubu lose in Lagos State and Osun State, does it means he is a paper weight politician?

Instead of acknowledging that the will of the people is largely manifested in the results we have so far seen you are trying to knock down Governors who didn't scuttle the process as have always been the case...

That he stood up to the presidency means nothing, they are the same people and he has nothing to lose.

By the way if the only way a politician can show his might is through rigging, that says a lot about the type of politician he is. If after governing a state for 8yrs and the people of the state can't support you or your candidate in a free and fair election, it means you failed simple.
You have succeeded in adding nothing to the discourse...So by your logic, Jigawa State governor has performed better than Sanwoo Olu?

We are talking about politics here, and there are reasons why there are bigger politicians than others. It has nothing to do with rigging.

He is overrated with these results. Nobody has asked him to rig
The most any supposed strong politician can do is deliver a polling unit or ward. A LGA or Senatorial district is a tough job so, let's stop making giants out of people whose sphere of influence is within their locality...Sokoto is in the far North where APC will get votes with or without Wammako.

This message is neither here nor there. And laced with disingenuity, how did you come about that first statement, "suddenly every Obidient is doing better than every Batist". Who are the "every Obidient" and who are the "every Batist"?
How does one person's opinion become the general consensus?

Oga we are decrying the fact that the elections were stolen as usual! Now that is a general consensus!! That the elections were not free and fair, it is on this same thread everyone was talking about how wike is working "MAGIC" in rivers. It was here we were seeing what happened to sege live and direct. And these are just a percent of the ones we know.

We are seeing results sheets with so much alterations here and there.
. before this election, we all knew that Nigeria has NEVER had a free and fair elections but we were told that this would be different with the deployment of technology now.

But that was a lie, the people's mandate has been denied once again, so yes people are free to decry such blatant daylight robbery..

If tinubu had won fair and square, this would be acceptable, we can say that yes, many people who were sold propaganda fell for it, but this isn't the case, the case is that the people's choices are being twarthed and people who are cheated are certainly allowed to cry out for justice, is that not so?

So please this is a wrong time for this message..
This message would be in tune if accepted that the results were solid and the APC won fair and square, then you can say, accept your loss in peace but it wasn't and nobody should be told to calm down.
Obi sold what? Just listen to yourself...

When you people keep saying this, you keep missing the point.

Obi is not even the one running this campaign so to speak!! This was a movement powered by the people, especially the youths, through the internet, using obi as their vehicle.

I mean, look at Peter Obi well, does this look like a man who habors deep rooted ambitions?? No? I won't even be surprised if after this election has been done rigged, hopefully unsuccessfully, this man just retires from politics even with the monumental gains he has just made.

This is a modest man who ojukwu plucked from nowhere and crowned his person in the face of the mighty PDP. A man who did not seek to impose his own successor in the state but allow the party's Democratic choice.

I'm just saying, unlike the 2 old candidates who nursed serious lifetime ambitions to be president for the sake of it, this man has just accepted the gift of nature. Being at the right place at the right time. The youths chose him as their vehicle. That's why he had general acceptance. They wanted a way out. Out of the mess nigeria is but the corrupt establishment will just not go down without a fight.
Just the same way he had organic supporters while others were paid...Continue, don't stop...smh!

I really don't get your point.

A typical Nigerian will curse politicians for looting but when a politician goes in there and does not build big houses or drive the best of cars the same Nigerians will say he is a stupid (Mumu) person...It's just the same thing you are doing now, if El-Rufai considered what people like you will say, he'd have rigged the process like Wike is alleged to have done and I am sure you'd have been here complaining if he had done so...

Instead of applauding El-Rufai for allowing the people make their choices without interfering you're here mocking him...

For having the guts to stand up to the presidency alone, El-Rufai has shown he is no pushover.

The biggest positive for LP is that it is winning NASS seats across different regions so, the tag of a regional party won't fly however, it is imperative that Obi remains the the leader of the party regardless of the outcome 9f the presidential election...I say so because there's a tendency for Governors (If any will be elected) and NASS members elected on the party's platform to want to take over the party's leadership structure...

There has been no surprise win for him, instead steady losses.

APC has lost nasarawa, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, gombe, osun, Lagos, plateau.

That's 7 states that was expected to go his way!!

States yet to be announced now are mostly expected to go to Obi or atiku. The ss and se and the then the most important, north central states.

Let's see whether you guys are getting this fake ginger from.
You don't get it do you? Where Atiku is winning, Tinubu is coming a close second while Obi is no where to be found and where Obi is winning apart from the SE, Tinubu is doing reasonably well and in other places, Atiku is ensuring Obi is not coasting home to victory.

No sitting politician would rig for obi and lose his own sit. Obi has wiped everything in Anambra. Complete clean sweep.
Trust me, any location with anyone of consummate influence over the people can easily be rigged...They're various forms of rigging though, it can be collusion with INEC, it can be voters inducement, it can be deliberate disenfranchisement, intimidation of voters or collusion with security agent...

You're forgetting Shettima is on the ballot. Why do you think Tinubu went for Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Let's not pretend that this election in Nigeria is not voted primarily on Ethnic lines, if not all 3 candidates would not be runnning a North-South combo.

Each party hopes to nab the Principal's ethnic\regional vote first, then the Vice's ethnic\regional vote next.
After that, it's religion on both sides.

You cannot look at the results we're seeing right now, and not see primarily ethnic driven voting patterns.

This is the biggest reason why Nigeria needs to breakup, and give us a chance to move away from North/South, Christian/Muslim ticket permutations to genuinely Issue-based campaigns.
I am not a one who supports this whole talk of break up because the politicians here especially in the Niger Delta region have shown that they can do better if the country splits...

Trust me, if the country splits today, we will escape from ethno-religious politics to fully ethnic politics...

What do you think of the governorship election in the state? Does Sandy Onor stand any chance?
In Cross River, they are 3 popular leaders across the 3 Senatorial districts...In the South, it's Prince Otu, in the Central, it's Owan Eno and in the North, it's Jarigbe...It's difficult to beat any of them in a free and fair elections...

Back to your question, Sandy is not a match for Prince Otu but he stands a chance. I will go ahead to give you factors that comes into play for Sandy and against Sandy...

Sandy stands a chances for the following reasons:

1. A lot of folks are not happy with the government of Ayade and in extension the APC so, they believe that a Sandy government will see Ayade face the law for his many attrocities...

2. Ayade just lost his bid to return to the senate. This alone is a moral booster for the PDP in the State.

Factors working against Sandy includes:

1. His emergence alters the zoning formula in the state. Donald Duke (South) did 8 years, Liyel Imoke (Central) did 8 years and Ayade (North) would have done 8 years in a couple of months time so, logically it should return to South but Sandy through Wike hijacked the PDP ticket and this made Liyel Imoke very angry thus Sandy doesn't even control the entirety of the Central Senatorial district as Liyel and his boys are still angry that he denied Sen. Gershom Bassey (South) the PDP ticket even though some of us blame the Southern PDP aspirants for not coming up with a consensus hence they shared their votes giving Sandy the upper hand.

The South is united to deliver Prince Otu (APC) while the Central is split (Sandy has to find a way to get Liyel on his side), the North with Jarigbe will likely deliver PDP as they are very angry with their son (Ayade) and anything that has to do with him.

2. Sandy is also seen as a Wike lackey which might negatively affect his chances if the APC capitalizes on it...

So, you see that when all of these factors come into play it is difficult to predict how it will pan out. Sandy will win if he can get all the PDP stakeholders in the Central on the same board because with Jarigbe in the North PDP will easily coast home.
