Amrabat as LB...I don't like it. Play him in his favourite position. If he struggles it might affect him going forward.

Dalot should have started at LB with Lindelof as the RB.

Just a few months ago. Bruno was the one missing sitters back to back. Rashford was the next best thing after Mbappe. Scored a total of 30 goals for the club last season.

Coaches are not magicians, the first thing is really players that play a certain way. You can't play ETH's style with McTominay at the base of your midfield hiding from passes. You can with a younger version of Eriksen.

Rashford seems to have forgotten how to combine with team mates for some reason. Hojlund is showing he's not good with the ball on his feet, maybe it's just because he's new. We have no right winger. Our first choice defenders are all injured. Nah, I'll not blame ETH on this, we started the season very badly in terms of injuries.

Is it my job to bench McTom? Whatever happened to starting Casemiro, Bruno and Hannibal in a 4-3-3 and playing Rashford on the Right and Garnacho on the left?

Did we not see Klopp pairing MacAllister and Szbolzlai with Jota in front of them when they did not have enough options in midfield?

See how you guys are on about Eriksen but when we pointed out here that Mount was nothing like Eriksen you guys thought we were hating. If it is established that his style needs a player like Eriksen to thrive, why didn't he opt for a player similar to Eriksen?

Talking about injuries, it's the reason we have a large squad. Those guys get paid every week because the club think they can do a job when the first-choice players are unavailable. It is not against Burnley that we should start cooking up excuses. Look at the starting 11 of both teams and tell me which team should keep the ball better and create more chances.

A bad player at Man Utd will easily start every game for Fulham, a team that is better than Burnley.

Fergie did a lot with average players. Some players at City won't be so good away from Pep's system.

I will understand if we come up against Liverpool, City, Arsenal and the likes and falter but not against the Burnley's and Wolves of the world...

I watched City when Pep first joined in a preseason against Arsenal. One thing was evident, his imprints on the football they tried to play. It was his first game but you could easily see what he was on about. I did not need to watch videos of analysis to see whatever he was on about as it was clear for all to see even though the players were not so good. A couple of years after you watch City play you'd see a team that has perfected the Pep style.

It's the second season and from our games, I see nothing to suggest the players train together. I just want to see the team play football that is recognisable just so I know we are headed
somewhere but no, I have not seen anything to suggest we are making progress...Maybe it is me who is not paying attention so, please help explain what you see when you watch us play.

We probably would have played better if we used a midfield of Casemiro, Eriksen anBruno. But the question is would we have won? I seriously doubt. We needed the 3 points and got it. The gameplan no matter how annoying it was worked.

My point is don't compare our team to City's. No one does. A few injuries will only affect them a little. They can field their 2nd team and easily beat anyone. No team has that luxury, even Madrid.

Btw, Ten Hag had a system like that at Ajax also. Mid players looked like world beaters. VDB looked like the next best thing. De ligt looked like something else.

It's because if you make too many changes, the team can look unidentifiable. That's how mid teams from championship can shock top teams in the league.

I wouldn't take any player from Burnely. But that's the first team of a manager. That's the team he planned the season with. That's the team he trusts in. That's the team he's chosen. Whatever identity they have, it's at the peak when they're together.


And no, I don't view every criticism of the manager in that light. The agenda is just so obvious when you and the other guys try to downplay the injury problems we're facing.

You are trying too hard to start a 'we vs them' scenario here and it's still not working.

If we played against Liverpool, City, Spurs, Arsenal or even Chelsea then the injury concerns will come into play but no Burnley (Fvcking Burnley!)...We had enough quality to not just win but play better than we did.

It is the same reason I think Kane will struggle at Bayern because away from scoring against bottom-placed teams in that league, he will struggle against top opposition. You are making the mistake of thinking that criticism after a win equates to calls for the Manager's head but far from it, some of us recognize danger from miles away. We can't keep playing so poorly, we won't be always lucky.
