The reason for this is the same reason United can’t conclude transfers early. It’s the same reason they had to let go of their most lethal attacker due to “pressure”. It’s the same reason Maguire has refused to leave and many other negative things that are happening at the club.

You should also consider the player recruitment department and the strategy of those teams.

United are used to buying stop gaps or ageing players for huge amounts of money. Examples yapa for ground. And when they're not that, they're not the right fit.

Arsenal is filled with talented youngsters who are geling together to form a formidable team. Martinelli, Saka, White, Saliba, etc are decent players who fit the profiles the manager is looking for.

Newcastle bought Isak and Bruno Guimaraesh at the beginning of last season. They were players who are either in their prime or approaching it. They added another promising young winger to that squad in January. This season, they doubled down and improved in that same direction.

United needs a better transfer strategy and ideology. We have to move on from an 'at all at all na im bad pass' mentality to identifying youngsters with the right profile and going for them.

Let's not start about player recruitment because all the players we have signed were and are recommended by Ten Hag. If Ten Hag decides to buy players that he can't utilize then it is solely on him and he should take the fall if things go south.

He doesn't care if the full backs can tuck into the midfield, or any of that extra shit. He'll make it work.

The key point to note is that we had a superior team compared to Newcastle before the takeover and after the takeover, we have spent almost the same amount (the difference in amount is relatively insignificant) on players yet they have closed the gap on us and every other top team.

If we play Newcastle tomorrow, no one here will be confident we can win. The odds will favour them.

Coaches will always come and go so, I am not a fan of a club letting the coach make big calls especially as it has to do with in-comings.

We went from a Moyes who prefers traditional English long balls to Van Gaal who is a possession freak to Mourinho was rather defends and hits on the counter to Ole who is straight-up clueless to Ragnick the supposed father of ghen ghen pressing to ETH who favours quick transition. This sequence has seen us buy players to suit each manager to the detriment of the club because after 3-4 years, the manager is gone and we are back to square one. This is one area where I think as we club we can improve on.

Let those in charge decide what kind of football we want to play as a club and hire managers who are renowned for such a pattern of play. If they hire Conte after ETH I won't be surprised sha. Here, I fault the board.

I don't understand what you mean by limited budget. Our spending is approaching £200m and are still in the market to sign a CB (Depending on the Maguire situation) and a midfielder or possibly two which will take our spending to over £250m - 300m. This for me is the board backing the manager.

Ten Hag has to look away from his former players, there is value for money in the market.

We are just about the only team that spends money without seeing results. The Glazers are not the best owners we know but cut them some slack.

The manager requested Onana when he could have managed Henderson or Kovar or any of the other young goalies in the squad and used the money to sign a proper CM.

The same manager signed Mount who is not a CM or anything like Erikson who was pivotal for the way we played last season. Seeing how important Eriksen was to our set-up, one would have expected Ten Hag to go after a player in his mould but he opted for Mount.

Hojlund is out injured and no one knows how serious it is due to conflicting reports.

In summary bar Onana who is exceptional at what he does (even though his effect will largely not be felt no thanks to other pressing problems unresolved), Mount looked out of sorts. We have thus far only managed to solve a part of a big problem, the least of the many problems we have.

The overall play today was bad (even though I'm happy with the 3point). The way Wolves players kept running riot in our midfield leaves bitter taste in my mouth. Imagine we have a team like City or Liverpool today, we will probably chop 5. Even Newcastle go chop us like Suya.

Hopefully we see marked improvement in the next game. If ETH do not get at least 2 CM before the transfer window closes, he wont finish this season and I'll be there no matter what.

We were poor overall today. Our midfield didn't create many chances so it's hard to say our forwards didn't finish well. We didn't have a single clear chance at goal.

We had several chances come our way whenever we pressed them high up the pitch but our forwards almost always picked the wrong pass or missed.
