In summary:

No World Power wants to be surrounded by hostile Countries, because it puts them in Danger. That is why America will not allow a Russian-allied or Chinese Allied Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, etc. It is self-Preservation because if a Missile is launched at them, from such Hostile, neighboring Country, here wont be enough time to prepare a Defense and respond.

Russia agreed with NATO Countries, led by America, that they wont expand 'further Eastwards' towards Russian Border but since that agreement around 1992, NATO has expanded more than ten times towards Russian border.
Ukraine shares a common Border with Russia.
Finland also shares a common border with Russia but they have never fought a War, for the last 84years, because they have a "Peace Treaty" between them, until they recently decided to join NATO, along with Sweden.

In 2014, N@zis within Ukraine (The Azovs and Banderites! Please read a little about the man called 'Stephen Bandera', and Ukrainian whose atrocities is only comparable to that of Hitler) overthrew an elected President who was 'friendly' with Russia.
This was done with the instigation of Big Brother, Uncle Sam. (Again, please Read-up about the role of American Ambassador to Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, who is also the Wife of a CIA Director, in what transpired in that period)

A Western Puppet of President was used to replace this Russia-friendly President.
He started collaborating with Russia's 'Enemies' and the grand plan was to jmake Ukraine a NATO knife, on Russia's neck!

Two things then happened:
1) Because Ukraine is like Nigeria, Eastern, Russian speakers (Donbass regions, Kherson, Zaporithsha, half Ukrainian Speakers) and Wstern Ukrainian Speakers (The Banderites and the Azovs), the new President started victimizing the Easter, Russian Speakers. Their Language and Religion were "canceled", Their Churches were burnt and eventually, the Western-backed Government declared War on their own Citizens, who were Russian Speakers! Theu used Weapons of War, Amoured Tanks, B0mbs, to mow them down, they describe them as "Russian rats".

These Russian Speakers cried to Russia for help. Russia reached an Agreement on their behalf (Minks 1 and Minsk 2), guaranteed by France, Germany and the UK, that these Regions should be given some Autonomy but Ukraine reneged on that agreement!
Infact, the German President and French President said that the agreement was just a TRICK, they have no intention of honoring it and it was designed to allow Ukraine enough time to be heavily Armed against Russia.
Ukraine became a threat to Russia's survival. It was begining to develop Biological and Chemical Weapons, specifically designed for Russia. It was also trying to acquire a crude, (dirty0- Nuclear Weapon.

Please, go and read the Letter President Putin wrote to all World leaders, to the UN and other International Bodies, in early February 2022, that the US, EU and NATO described as "Rubbish and he can not do anything", for more insights,
The Aim was to make Ukraine a member of NATO, use it to figth Russia and invoke Article 5 (Gang-up War against anyone ina fight with One of Us!)

Russia said l wont allow Ukraine to join NATO because if it does, considering how Russophobic the Ukrainian N@zis and Banderites running it are, there will be a direct War with NATO, where Nuclear Weapons will come into play (any nation under existential threat will use whatever it has, to defend itself, including Nuclear Weapons, just as Israel has promised to do: Pls Read the "Samson Option" Doctrine of Israel).

Russia does not want a Nuclear War and the only way to prevent it, is to ensure that Ukraine is not in a position "to be used' to threaten it's Existence
Also, Russia wants the survival of its Russian population in Ukraine, which the N@zis and Banderites in Western Ukraine wants to wipe out..

These are why Russia invaded, in a Special Military Operation, Not a War, because Russia still considers Ukrainians as their 'Slavic Brothers".
But in the last Three Years, events have changed. Ukraine is being Armed by NATO and the SMO has become a Proxy-War between NATO and Russia, with Ukraine as NATO battering Ram. It is now a WAR
American Senator said that "War on Russia, using Ukraine, is the "Best Money America has spent", because Americans are not dying, it is Ukrainians that are dying, and Russians too!
Biden said that what America wants, is the strategic Defeat of Russia, so that Western Countries that break it into pieces and plunder ist Wealth (Remember what happened to Iraq? Libya? Now, Venezuela!)

I have a strong feeling that NATO feels Russia is still afraid of them, because Putin is calm and sensible in his approach so, they would attack Russia (they are broke and have failed to subdue Russia!) as a Bloc. That is why they keep escalating it.
Russia will defend itself to the last, using Nuclear Weapons, if Conventional Weapons fail, because this fight, for Russia, is about SURVIVAL, Existential, as they say. That will be very bad for the whole world.

The above is my reading and opinion of this War, as someone who has been following it closely. Some others may have a different opinion but if you Research and read widely, with an Open mind, you can always separate the truths, from the lies and make your own deductiosn.

See the reason why the US attacked Venezuela and whisked Maduro away. The US are not comfortable that Venezuela, a country that is around their hemisphere, is an ally with China and Russia, which the US see as their adversaries. If the US can attack Venezuela the way they did, even when Venezuela is not a country bordering them, imagine what they'll do to Mexico or Canada.

I hate AFCON when you are up against a host nation. If we beat Algeria, it will be very difficult for us to beat this Moroccan team with the home support and favourable officiating they enjoy.

Please show me one fan here who has come out to say he is against the club strengthening key positions? Were you not here when some of us were complaining that our midfield is not good enough? It is not because of the same midfield issue that I joined TrebleChamp to call for the manager to speak up if the board are not willing to strengthen the midfield?

Amorim's problem was not just the midfield, 3-4-3 didn't just suit the players we have, so sticking with him would've required that we invest heavily again when we are not sure of a European qualification. I am sure if we had won that UEL final, we would have done more in the market.
