handelex:Bro, just dig, get a shovel and you'd see that some folks here started criticizing him even when we won before some of us joined the train... |
handelex:Are you new here? I was one of those that lamented... |
eph12:McTominay might not been been responsible for their goal but that guy is bang average, I counted more than 4-5 times he should have passed the ball but he rather runs with the ball close to the player he intends to pass to because he doesn't trust his passing... |
eph12:Fred wasn't fot to start from reports...Thus the best option for a lone DM was and is Matic... |
eph12:You admitted you're being sarcastic so, feel free to hit em from the rare... |
Eph12, this is not the time to be sarcastic, you might be hit by an ICBM armed with a nuclear warhead...Come out plain, we #TeamOleOut are not smiling, we are ready to shoot that any plane flying a banner of support for the Scandinavian fraud... |
eph12:How did we lose? Maguire was out injured, why? He has been overplayed... Rashford was over used this season and it took a toll on him... Sevilla are not a pacy side, why not start Matic knowing fully well that McTominay and Fred need each other to effectively function? Why did we have players on the bench? Do you think VDB is that bad? Even Mata could have fared we considering the pace of the game... Diallo? Has James ever looked as bad as Rashford was that night? You just like to be the lone man on the other side in an any discourse, I know people like you so I can understand... |
eph12:That's Leicester City, they are not in our class, normally, a Leicester fab should be more than satisfied with a 5th place finish, they're seriously punching above their weight... You think if Brendan Rodgers was coach of Chelsea he'll be their manager as we type now? You have a penchant for comparing apples and oranges...We spend more on transfer fees and wages, have better facilities at Carrington yet your benchmark when talking about Manchester United is Arsenal and Leicester...My God, wetin I dey read for here! |
I guess City going after Grealish means Foden, Sterling, KDB and the rest are bad...Una go misrepresent person argument start to argue against wetin you understand even if your inability to comprehend a straight forward post is questionable... |
MRTA7:It will be a massive signing... |
The fear of Fred being a squad player is what’s making eph misyarn... For him, rather than we sign a top class DM, Fred should continue...It is what it is, blind love for his favorite... |
eph12:As I said, you just dey clutch at straws, you don't have a point... |
eph12:How much have we spent in between? You think if Arteta was given 300m he wouldn't have done better than go to Madrid to sign players on loan or sign Willian on a free? Your argument is faulty, you are pointing fingers at Arsenal without looking at the transfer war chest available to Arsenal and that available to Ole... |
eph12:Don't tell me you did not notice what winning the EPL did for Leicester City, since then, have they remained the same? I already knew you'll come here with the Arsenal line of defense, one Ole brought forth some weeks ago in a bid to mask his failures so, I ask, what of Atletico and all the other examples of teams who kicked on after winning a trophy or two? The Arsenal example doesn't hold water, not at all... |
Expert17:Another one bites the dust...The virus of mediocrity carried by the Scandinavian fraud has found its way to his blood cells... I talk am say demons dey here and we must work hard to exorcize the demons of mediocrity that keeps devouring our once revered folks... |
eph12:Baba e be like you start your highness early because I don't know what in my comment is so difficult for you to comprehend...Abeg make person help me interpret for vernacular abeg. |
eph12:Are you okay with Wan-Bissaka playing all the games? Do you trust Lindelof who is slow and shaky? Bailly is fine but he is mostly reported injured even though he thinks otherwise... Your Fred and his partner are shit and should be squad players... Na today we start to talk about RW? With Cavani staying we don't really need to go all out for a striker unless we have a chance to sign any of Haaland or Mbappe... Who has mentioned CM? Didn't you see that my mention of Koke is subject to Pogba? You go just quote person out of context and I know why, na Fred dey make your body shake... |
eph12:You just dey find argument if not, I don't know what's too difficult in understanding that we had the team (starting 11 + bench) to beat Villarreal if only made the right subs and pushed for the winner rather than banking on penalties... And what exactly do you mean by "building a winning mentality is important than any trophy" This one na talk? Do you know what title wins does to the mentality of players? Atalanta and Milan will beat Juventus in the league but when it comes to a final, they'll crumble...You don't think Juventus players are more used to the big nights and are more relaxed? Bilbao will beat Barcelona in the league but crumble in the Copa Del Rey final. You are talking of winning mentality and you conveniently think trophies are not key...I weak for your argument. |
eph12:You didn't understand that post... I was looking ahead to next season with that post where I assessed our options and alternatives... |
Havertz10:The current Madrid team is shit but Zidane conquered LA Liga with them and almost replicated the same feat this season...I always thought he was overrated just because of the team at his disposal but winning La Liga ahead of Barcelona after the departure of Ronaldo and with an aging team was incredible...Zidane saw to the destruction of Bayern, PSG, Juventus, Atletico Madrid (The best Atletico team in the past 10 years or more) on his way to winning the UCL thrice in a row, 3 times o! Beating the very best including Pep, he couldn't have done that if he wasn't tactically astute... Talking about Chess, no way will an amateur beat a pro, it takes high level concentration and intentional moves to win. Almost all GMs have played thousands of games so, before you make a move, they already know what you are up to and can easily counter your move whilst reami9potent on the attack themselves... Zidane is like a GM, he has been in the game as a player and now manager, for so long so much so that he makes everything look too easy hence the reason you think he is not as good as his peers... If you play Chess, I can school you for free... ![]() |
Havertz10:I am struggling to make sense of the bolded. Are you saying Tuchel just took to the field without preparing his charges for what Madrid will throw at them? What exactly do coaches have to think about Pep that they don't think of other top teams they face? |
eph12:Sometimes, you ask very funny questions, from the post you quoted, isn't it obvious he is saying we have a team good enough to beat Villarreal but Ole messed up? |
eph12:You don't get the point obviously... Our team is not good enough to compete on all fronts and against the very best as we are lacking in some positions and in others, we do not have sufficient cover that's generally accepted here but the starting 11 and bench for that UEL final was good enough to trounce Villarreal unless you want to argue otherwise... We do need a fast and reliable CB doesn't mean Lindelof and Bailly are pants, Laporte and Ake are not Pants but City still have Stones and Dias and that's why an injury to any of them is not glaring when you watch City... Wan-Bissaka is limited going forward and most times, we face teams that sit back, having a more attacking option is to our favor... McFred are both limited on the ball, watch Rodri and Fernandinho and you'd see the gulf in class and technical abilities...McFred can be squad players, I'd have no qualms with that... Pogba for all his abilities remains a big issue, he isn't discipline enough to play in a pivot so, why not get a player who is more suited for that role like Koke or anyone? If Pogba stays, we then have to get a very competent DM... RW has always been an issue, Greenwood is a ST and should play there and not be tossed around like Rashford who looked lost out on the left a position where he used to do so much damage...Maybe the return of Martial will see him step up... I hope you get my point sha. |
offiong187:Mike? |
BARAJ92:Tell me more, you've got jokes... |
hoopLA:I want hear from him what he really means before I can respond to him... We definitely need improvement in some positions but as for yesterday, we clearly had the better 11 and better bench, just a more stupid coach... |
eph12:What exactly do you mean? |
handelex:If he isn't sacked, he can as well relegate us and I'll care less... What else does he need to do to get the sack? Ole is a bloody fraud... |
schurley:God forbid bad thing... |
Philomiina: |
Why is the debate about the failure of DDG to save a penalty? Lindelof was stupid to have lost his marker, nothing De Gea would have done for that goal... Rashford was guilty of missing a very good chance and was shit throughout but guess what? He finished the game. Maybe some of you didn't watch the game so I should let you guys in on what happened... As soon as it got to extra time, shame catch me because Villarreal were that bad yet took us all the way to a shootout...At that point, they were more deserving of the win as underdogs... We lost because for the second season in a row, Ole showed lack of faith in his bench even after it was strengthened...If I was the owner of Manchester United, I'd have asked him to give me one reason why he thinks I should spend a penny signing more players when it's obvious he wouldn't play them...Ole is a fraud, if he had any shame he'd have resigned by now... Aurelio De Laurentiis would have sacked Ole via a Tweet at the end of 90mins... |
nitrogen:For emphasis, Pirlo won the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup... We have to make a statement of intent showing we don't dine with failure by sacking Ole... The fraud said the season was a failure, instead of stopping there, he said we will push on next season with new additions...Push on with who? He should be sacked, that guy is a conman, even after a disappointing season, he still had to subconsciously appeal to the emotions of fans by saying we will do better next season with more additions as if to deflate the attention from his woeful coaching to the lack of quality on the bench which does not fly for me... |
