One gap in the current system we play is the fact that the CBs are not sure which of them is supposed to step into midfield. For the second goal Bournemouth scored, Heaven attempted to step up into midfield to press but Yoro and Shaw maintained their shape as RCB and LCB instead of drifting in to cover the space left by Heaven. With a 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 or 4 - 1 (DM) - 2 (CMs) - 2 (AMFs) - 1 we automatically rid ourselves of that misunderstanding.

If I am Amorim, I will play Martinez in front of the defense at Villa park...

We should line up in a 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 formation to effective counter Villa.

Apart of being porous, our players are mentally weak. They are too afraid of moving up the table, they don't want that added pressure.

Twice Dalot had the chance to put in a quality delivery but he failed. I wonder why Aad didn't cut inside and deliver the Cross himself. Dalot is a waste.

Just watch the goals we concede, most times, you will see 3 CBs but only one is close to the player finishing off the chance for the opponent, the other two CBs have no one to mark...

Our midfield is crying for an extra body to sit in front of the defence but no, our clueless coach must start 3 CBs.

At 4 vs 4, our keeper had to make 2 massive saves to stop us from losing.

Just remember to factor in the type of block they play in and the type of workers around him.

I am not saying we should not go for him but don’t expect him to replicate this level of performance if he comes. I think he needs another mobile CM next to him.

One thing I like about him is that he is so aware of his environment, he really knows how to pass and hardly losses the ball...
