That NF game shows that even though he exudes confidence when he talks, he has huge doubts within himself either about the players or himself.

There are 2 major obstacles I still see in this team.

1) The players struggling to play with intensity for 90 straight minutes

2) The coach not getting the timing and choice of his substitutions right.

More than player quality or tactics, these are the 2 major problems we have right now.

That issue of intensity has been a persistent problem for years now. I don't know whether our players do not watch other teams or if they just can't be bothered to run their socks off...I watch Liverpool play with intensity for 90 mins against Madrid and that's why they won. If we play we the required intensity, we have enough quality to beat this injury ravaged Spurs team.

The second point you highlighted is also valid and that's why I was angry last weekend.

Well, if they are not match fit, what happens when Cunha or Sesko gets injured. The problem against Brighton was that he took off a lot of important players for players who were not up to speed. I'd like to see Zirkzee play with Cunha and Mbeumo from the start of a game.
